If you like Quiet, clean, comfortable, walks, good village pub, every where an easy drive from Scotton….You will love this cottage. We had a lovely relaxing time here our Whippet loved it also. Holly & Alastair are excellent hosts, we would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

what an absolutely amazing place to visit, with one of the moat picturesque views of the Yorkshire Dale anyone could wish from right in the backgarden. the cottage is spotless and has everything you could want for a break away.

Fantastic little cottage, so quaint. Hot tub was amazing and easy to use. The bed was comfy, was just a wonderful place to spend my birthday weekend. It was easy to get to all the local attractions and the pubs in the village were lovely and the locals so friendly. We will definitely be back

Amazing Stay at The Old Potting Shed! This break was a last minute booking for us and really exceeded our expectations. The old potting shed is a beautiful accommodation, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The hosts James and Rachel could not have been more responsive or more friendly. I had mentioned it was my birthday and the property was decorated with balloons, chocolates and prosecco. We had fresh eggs in the morning from their hens which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Every utensil you could think of was provided, it really was a little home from home! Location was just a short drive into York but there are some nice walks nearby. We also enjoyed the local village pub which was just at the end of the long driveway, food and drinks were delicious. Overall I’m so glad we found this place, it’s a credit to the hosts. We have recommended to family and friends and can’t wait to return. Thanks again for your hospitality James & Rachel x

Wonderfully peaceful location. Holly Toft is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We paticularly appreciated how much care was given to ensuring the hot tub was spotlessly clean and freshly filled for our arrival. Kathryn is a superb host who clearly cares a lot about her guests. The field full of adorable lambs to look out on was a delightful bonus! Highly recommend! Thank you Kathryn.

Booked for our 20th wedding anniversary and used for a base to explore Skipton and a day out in York. Close enough to Skipton to enjoy the town and the night life. The Granary was immaculate. Hot Tub amazing and already planning a second visit. The location is stunning, peaceful and we enjoyed every minute .

Stayed for a couple of nights to explore the Dales. Lovely, cute cottage with everything you’d need. Private garden was ideal for the dog to stretch his legs and some fantastic walks literally from the doorstep. Carole was always on hand for advice and local knowledge! Would definitely come back and stay again

We had the perfect stay! We were not there too long, only for a wedding, however we felt so comfortable here and was such a great location. Felicity was very responsive and left clear instruction on how to enter which was helpful. The cottage had every amenity you could think of which was lovely, especially the iron and hairdryer! They also left a lovely welcome basket for us to enjoy which was a very nice surprise after a long journey! Would absolutely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the area. We had a great stay at Elm Tree Cottage! The house is beautifully decorated, really clean and they’ve thought of everything you may need during your stay. After travelling 3 hours it was great to arrive to a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, cake and bottled water - helped us out before our Tesco delivery arrived! (Thank you again!) The local area is so peaceful, the people are really nice and the walks are endless. Ed and Caroline are great hosts, they respond quick and provide lots of information over messages and also in the cottage. We visited the local pub and enjoyed the fish and chip van that goes there every Thursday! The cottage is a great base to then explore walks further out and lots of lovely towns not too far to visit.

Just had the cosiest stay at Triangle Cottage! Very tastefully decorated, the comfiest bed and the dreamy rolled top bath with the views made it all the more relaxing! It had everything I needed for a wee retreat with my dog in the countryside. Perfect walkable distance to the city centre and various hikes around. Strongly recommend!

We loved our stay and all of the thoughtful touches! Great location for exploring the dales. The cottage was tastefully and lovingly restored keeping all its original charm but with modern luxury and comforts. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely weekend here in such a tranquil setting. The village pub was a good find but I would book, as gets very busy! The closest mini market that we found was about 1/2 hr, so best to pick up supplies on the way in! We came prepared though and there was a welcome basket of goodies, as well as fire wood. The first night we had a fire pit outside but the second night was chilly and the weather had been wet and we opted for a log fire inside. The kids enjoyed the games room and the sheep on the front lawn every morning was an added bonus! A lovely cottage with lots of charm. Great host, who kindly organised the posting of a left behind item for us 😊

We loved our stay at Button Cottage it was within easy reach of Leyburn and other local villages. We had a fantastic weekend. My Husbands favourite places were the Manor Farm Cafe within easy walking distance through fields. A bikers cafe even better the sun was shining and he got to view lots of motorcycles. Also the Wensleydale Brewery and their tabroom bar in Leyburn a great find. The Cottage was very homely ☺️

We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful little cottage. Jon kept in touch to make sure everything was going well and we very much appreciated the offer of a fan for the hot weather!

Just returned from a fantastic break in Laverton. The cottage or 'byre' is super clean and cosy with some underfloor heating and adjustable radiators. These were great as it was a bit chilly at night time in May. We purchased eggs from Gary and they were delicious!! There are many walks in the area and maps provided that you can use. Had a really great time - thanks!!

We absolutely adored our stay in the Little Barn. We felt so at home there. Everything about it was really comfortable - the sofa, the bed (REALLY comfy!), the furnishings, and the warmth of the place (good heating). The kitchen had all that we needed, and we loved being able to use the outdoor pizza oven, enjoying homemade pizzas and a bottle of Prosecco on the last night (Rebecca had very kindly left us the Prosecco and lots of other lovely things; eggs, coffee capsules for the coffee machine, some lovely chocolate - thank you so much!). The surroundings are really cool - the moors are so different to what we’re used to (coming from Hampshire/Surrey) and the walks through them and out onto the Dales were just spectacular. The view from the cottage was very cute; sheep and rabbits nearby. The cottage has books in it with great suggestions as to what to do/where to go, which we used to plan our outings. Truly a wonderful stay and we will definitely be coming back!

Tucked away, in a quiet corner of Haworth, five minutes walk from the bottom end of the main street, the cottage, was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. With plenty to do in the area, the cottage is within ten minutes walk of Haworth's pubs and restaurants, and about 15 minutes from the Bronte Parsonage Museum, at the top of the hill. We parked up, right outside the cottage, when we arrived, and walked everywhere over our weekend's stay.

Wow. What a beautiful place to spend the Easter weekend. Sarah’s place is a home from home. It has everything you need to enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the surrounding area. Milk, eggs (chocolate too!) were here when we arrived, a lovely touch. The house was sparkling clean and bigger than the photos show. The pub across the road is ideal for a drink and top notch pub grub. York is 30 minutes to the park and ride (definitely do this to save on expensive parking), but the beauty is the walks around the area. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for being a great host!

A compact cottage in a secluded quiet courtyard set back from the high street. The cottage has everything you might need for a pleasant stay, including a teapot (top marks for this!).
