Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mason County

A beautiful space. The hummingbirds were flitting amongst the bushes, while the crows were rearing their young in the giant trees. The hot tub lies beneath the vaulted cathedral ceiling of ancient douglas fir trees. The soaking experience is the literal meaning of a forest bath. The cool clear water of the sound was a welcome repite from the heat of the tub. Sitting in front of a bonfire we watched a purple Mt Rainier fade with the sunset as the full strawberry moon rose over the hills sucking the tide out beyond the view of the waning firelight. The night time low tide and its crisp slipping sounds beckoned the inviting cool smooth sheets; an endless king size bed of relaxing contentment.

We found this to be the most beautiful pristine and private place. We’ve ever stayed at. We’re so very thankful for Jessica and everyone who went out of the way to make her stay the best ever. You will love the views the kayaks the canoes anduse the games. The fire pit and absolute must stay.

Home with a beautiful view of the water and, if you use the provided kayaks to go a couple hundred yards north, a view of the snowcapped mountains in the park as well. We saw a lot of wildlife from the kayaks. Good for stargazing when it's clear. If it had rained, the couches by the giant windows overlooking the canal would have been the perfect spot to settle in with a book and watch the rain. A great base to explore the area and recharge after, and roomy and comfortable for four adults. Jay was quick to respond to any question.

Amazing space. Everything as pictured including comfortable beds with extra soft linen. Plenty of towels and amenities provided Felt like home. We enjoyed the kayaks, hot tub, hammock, and fire pit. Everything we needed to enjoy the weekend was there. Such a lovely space that made us feel very welcomed. I had my 3yr & 16mo old with us and the toys & kids stuff was much appreciated. The highway was a little busy making the idea of walking anywhere less than ideal with children, but easy enough for adults. We ate at The Bistro for lunch - delicious food & drinks.

There was an incident with incomplete cleaning when we checked-in. Messaged Sherri and she responded right away, even though she was out of town. She got the cleaner to come and finished the final touches. In addition, Sherri was kindly enough to offer some discount due to the inconvenience, would recommend Sherri and her place when in town!

We had the very best weekend at the lake house. The kids loved all the water fun! The dock was a hit! The place is peaceful and clean! Had everything we needed to enjoy our time off. The ping pong table was fun! The place is even nicer than the pictures look! Will book again in the future! Thanks again.

We stayed here over a long weekend with our dog - and it was just amazing. Everything is how described - or even better. You have all you need, the house is perfectly equipped, the fenced backyard was perfect for our dog and we all enjoyed our hikes up the hill. Thanks for sharing this little dog- haven with us!

Great place to stay especially for divers!

Victorias place was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The Captains Quarters are a must stay place if you’re in long branch/lakebay. It felt like we were truly a captain of a ship, especially since the view was absolutely amazing. Victoria was so responsive, kind, and gave local recommendations. The private beach is even more gorgeous than the pictures, and it felt like a getaway from home. Our only regret is that we didn’t do more on the property! Would definitely stay here again. Props to Victoria and the amazing space!

This was a great final day stay for my partner and I on a trip traveling through the Olympic Peninsula. We really enjoyed taking Teresa up on the offer to use their kayaks for an early morning paddle when the waters are calm. This is a shared space with one Airbnb apartment on top of another. Noise does travel between the two spaces. This did not pose a problem for us at all and everyone and everything was quiet the hours we needed it to be to sleep well. Just a good thing to know if you are someone sensitive to sound or wanting a very private place. For us, we enjoyed meeting our hosts, socializing and being around others enjoying their vacation.

We had a great time staying here. It was family friendly with a grassy area for our kids to play with the other kids staying there. Very easy check in and check out. Close to lake Cushman and access to the beach. Loved it!

amazing view, windows, air flow, heating, everything you need! Plus, free hot tub, pool, rec room, and kayaking! The best part was going to the dock at night and swishing the water around. It sparkles and glows!

My wife and I had an unbelievable experience in Julee’s cabin. Service and communication were 10 out of 10! We fell in love with this cute cabin and are already planning our return trip! Beautiful scenery and mountains to do for an outdoor enthusiast. Hoodsport is a cute town and 5 minute drive away. Our dogs loved all the nearby trails. Highly, highly recommend!
