Holiday rentals with a sauna in Massanutten

I didn’t actually check into this condo. I’m leaving a review because Airbnb and Massanutten worked together well to assist me with my cancelation. Situations like that can get sticky, but they did a great job and I felt like Massanutten deserved the 5 star review.

This is my second time here. Love the quiet, and relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect for what I needed.

We enjoyed our stay in the White Locus Suite! Right outside of our bedroom, we had a kitchen to cook in. The jacuzzi bath and actual hot tub outside were very relaxing. We enjoyed it being so relaxing, we decided to book another week! :)

Great stay

Overall, it was a pleasant stay and an excellent spot for a weekend retreat.

The place was absolutely gorgeous and the apartment was very nice. We had an issue at check-in because the instructions stated to go to the South Lobby for a Saturday check-in, but it was closed and we had to go to the North Lobby. Please update the instructions.

beautiful location on the side of the mountain. really great views of the valley. we met the few other folks who were locals and other airbnb people and all were very friendly. it's a great spot with a small grocery store, an ice cream shop and a delightful restaurant at the bottom of the mountain which made it all a great spot to spend a few days.

It was a great stay. The beds were comfortable in the sauna was a nice touch. Everything about the place was comfortable.

we had a great time. they allowed us a 1 hr late checkout at no extra cost which was REALLY helpfull. strongly recommend getting the chalet with a jacuzzi and sauna. the only area for improvement would be the wear and tear of the furniture. its getting a bit worn but all it needs it a good wood polish all around. would def book again and recommend to a friend!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Woodstone at Massanutten and appreciate Greg offering his timeshare credits at this resort as an Airbnb. Note: this is not Greg's personal home/condo and the actual condo number is assigned by the resort when you check in at the resort lobby (with a very long line but friendly staff). The condo was exactly as Greg described (although you could tell the unit hadn't been used in some time) but it was comfy and cozy - just what we wanted - and we were fortunate to have a gorgeous view. Greg was very responsive from before we booked when I had questions about the property; he responded immediately when we had an 'emergency' on site and he resolved it quickly with Woodstone; and he even sent a local event suggestion the day before we checked out. I would definitely book with Greg again as I know he would make sure that whether it's his actual home or a timeshare he has credits for, he will ensure we are taken care of so we enjoy our stay. The house itself is beautiful and accurately portrayed in the photos- you can tell the host put a lot of thought into all the furniture and amenities of the house. We had some toddlers with us and appreciated how kid-friendly the space was. Unfortunately, we did have a bit of a rough start on the day of our arrival due to issues with cleanliness. However, Shabina was very responsive and reached out to us immediately to remedy the situation to the best of her ability. She really showed that she cares about the guest experience, and I would definitely stay at one of her properties again. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend. Just a side note- there are a LOT of bugs/flies since it’s the height of summer, so don’t forget your bug spray!

Wonderful weekend stay right on the river. Easy access to the hazel river, Shenandoah national park, as well as some short trails right on the property. Spectacular views from every window and multiple decks. It’s easy to sit and read a book while listening to the peaceful sounds. This property is beautiful with everything you need to feel right at home. It felt more like a home than a rental property. It was well decorated and somewhere you actually want to spend time vs drop your stuff and head out. We enjoyed our stay, and plan to return.

Spacious home in a great location close to resort amenities (though driving is necessary due to steep hills and lack of walkable paths). Perfect for our group of 11—plenty of room to spread out, and the kids especially loved the game room and basement activities. The property manager was excellent—very responsive and proactive, quickly addressing anything we needed. The home shows some signs of wear, but everything was clean and functional. Loved the sauna and hot tub and outdoor space on the deck. Only minor issue was a basement TV remote that didn’t work, which we reported for future guests. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Ashley was such a wonderful host. She was very responsive and went above and beyond in helping us prepare for the trip prior to our check in. It was a pleasure to get to enjoy her house. It gave our family the perfect vacation “home base” we felt a retro-modern vibe throughout the interior and the outdoor spaces were perfect for spotting deer, and relaxing at dusk after staying busy during the day, with all of the resort amenities!

Extremely well thought hosting. Right from a personalised welcome note to the abundant snack and breakfast options to the snack gifts, loved every bit of it! Very clean and well organised home with all necessary items provided with clear labels. Great balcony and backyard views. Would highly recommend to someone who is looking for a refreshing stay. Amazing place and it had everything we needed! Clean and comfortable. The bunk beds were a huge hit! We loved everything about our stay here!

We had a lovely and peaceful stay. In town for a family funeral and it was the perfect getaway location to rest and relax amongst everything. Heather was very kind and understanding of the situation. The home was excellent and very relaxing.
