Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mauterndorf

Chalet Rosenstein is in a very serene and scenic location. The interior including the beds was cozy and comfortable. The playground was a nice addition for our grandchildren. It was one of the nicest Airbnb s we have stayed in. Highly recommend it.

The place was just what we needed, a peaceful and cosy oasis with several ski slopes options within an hour reach. We really enjoyed staying in this house, so sad it came to an end. Above all, Petra is a great and warm host! Thank you!

The beautiful house is centrally located in the village of Mauterndorf. The various ski resorts are easy to reach by car. The house is spacious and neatly tidy. The large sliding door allows for plenty of light. The bedrooms are spacious with TV and plenty of closet space. Mattresses are firm and the pillows soft. Hostess Nina is very friendly and helpful, she responds quickly to messages or questions. The house is well insulated in terms of noise and temperature. Parking directly in front of the door on your own property. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable stay at Hallstatt Lakeview House! The views were absolutely stunning — truly some of the best in the area. The home was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful, providing detailed instructions that made finding the house easy. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would absolutely return. We've been there for the 2nd time and will be back for sure. Great house . We were there with our kids. Each bedroom has en-suite bathrooms . The kitchen is well equipped and everything is picobello clean . Perfect place for a relaxed getaway.

I have spent the last three months in this apartment and can only report positive things. The apartment is excellently equipped and offers everything you need to feel good. I was particularly impressed by the great view and the excellent location. The landlords are also extremely friendly, accommodating and available at all times, which made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, I felt completely comfortable here and I didn't miss anything. That's why I can recommend the apartment with a clear conscience. Thank you for this great place to stay!

WOW!!!! If you were to stay in Hallstatt, this is the place! On the water, beautifully appointed and beyond perfect. Our host Christina was always responsive and the place was immaculate, we can’t thank her enough for the information and the absolute perfection of our stay.

This place deserves 20 out of 5 stars! The best place to stay we've ever stayed. We felt amazing there and we will definitely come back <3 We were surprised how the apartment was perfectly furnished and fully equipped. You don't need to occupy, you won't miss any of what you have at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the kitchen has a number of appliances, a huge TV in the living room, and the whole apartment is fixed and has very good energy. :) Who furnished the apartment had taste! Definitely recommend for a longer stay, you won't want to go home like we do:) Lovely place thank you!

Ingrid was a fantastic host. Her commumication before and during our stay was excellent. She met us personally on arrival and when we left, providing helpful hints and tips about the local area. The apartment was in a great location within Hallstatt and ideal for visiting the surrounding areas. Providing a dedicated parking space outside the apartment was really helpful given the parking restrictions in the village itself. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ingrid thought of everything from robes to slippers, umbrellas to toiletries and much more. We had a lovely relaxing week and are very grateful for Ingrid's care and consideration throughout. We would highly recommend this apartment if you are visiting Hallstatt and surrounding areas.

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

The apartment is very large and in an incredibly beautiful location. The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils you could need. You can go hiking in the area, Saskia and Arturs know each other well and have lots of helpful tips for things to do. The two were totally friendly and helped us a lot. The apartment is highly recommended!

We stayed with the family (partner, child and parents) in Bad Hofgastein over the weekend and enjoyed our stay in Andrea's accommodation. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Check-in and check-out were completely straightforward, Andrea was extremely friendly and helpful. A small downside was that it was quite cool in the house. Also the water in the shower took a long time to get warm and the switch from the rain shower to the handheld shower was hardly possible. Nevertheless, we liked the apartment very much overall and we can absolutely recommend the accommodation, especially because of the great location, cleanliness and the nice hostess. We travel in this area every year and were now guests of Franz for the second time. For nature lovers seeking tranquility, the area is an absolute dream. During our stay, we explored the Wilden Berg in Mautern, visited the Schaibelsee in Hohentauern, hiked to the Schwarzbeeralm and swam in the beautiful bathing lake in the village. There's something for everyone! Franz is a wonderful host and the apartment was super clean again and really has everything you need.

We had an amazing stay at Nora & Peter's property recently. The apartment looks even better than the photos and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We have enjoyed our tea in the balcony watching beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped and very thoughtful designed by the hosts. Everything is exceptionally clean . The kitchen was also very well stocked which was helpful for us to make meals occasionally. We also were in love with this town, loved to walk by the lake. Its so peaceful. In the summers, this lake is filled with water activities, swimming etc. There is a small convenient store 2 min down the road. Nora and Peter were constantly in touch with us and were very helpful from the start to the end. This is one of the best properties we have lived in and Nora & Peter are absolutely the best hosts which made our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We absolutely enjoyed the apartment with our two children (2 and 5). It is absolutely clean, child-friendly, and has really everything you could need. Especially the connection to the Falkensteiner Cristallo was great for us - we could use the pools and children's pools and the children's program. Just perfect for families We definitely want to come back.
