Salamander Chalet

Geniet van de rust, het uitzicht en het comfort van dit stijlvolle chalet. Zeer geschikt als romantisch uitje of even bijkomen in de natuur met je gezin. Wij zitten op 650 meter hoogte, in een hete zomer is het altijd iets koeler dan in het dal en met een briesje, heel aangenaam. In de nacht koelt het meer af en is het lekker slapen. Een airco hebben wij niet nodig. Honden zijn welkom, € 15 per verblijf. Voor de winter is er een houtkachel. Wij leveren een kruiwagen met stookhout voor €15.

Located next to the Belgian owners’ farmhouse, it remains entirely private, surrounded by nature. During your stay, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting and a tour of the winery.

On the border between Aude and Ariège, Carcassonne and Mirepoix, in a natural environment, you can enjoy a 1.5 h, in peace and quiet. Here are plenty of walks to be had around the gîte, and if you enjoy hiking or cycling, this is the ideal place, with its footpaths and the "voie verte" ! Mirepoix, Carcassonne, Fanjeaux, Chalabre, Camon, the Cathar castles are close. To diversify your activities, the sea is just 1h20 away and ski resorts are only 1h away.

The house sits on the edge of the circulade village of Alaigne looking out to a valley of vineyards. Excellent for local walks and cycle rides and only a short drive to the attractions of Limoux, Mirepoix and Carcassonne. 2km from the village of Belveze with amenities; quality bakers, butchers, Spar supermarket, cafe and restaurants.
