Holiday rentals with a kayak in Meadow Lakes

The Wasilla Lakehouse property is beautiful inside and out! Very comfortable for our family of 9. The kayaks and paddleboards were a big hit. We spent a lot of time on the deck playing cards and visiting. There was an eagle flying around one morning and a moose walked across the lawn a couple days later. We also enjoyed watching the float planes take off and land. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We wish we could pick the house up and take it back to Maine with us...it's so beautiful!

There aren’t adequate words to say for Troy’s place! It is amazingly beautiful and relaxing. He has done an excellent job of decorating and proving necessities for a stay. The beds were very comfortable. Be easy with the heat… it feels amazing on my feet (floor heated) but it will warm up very well… cools off slowly. I just wished I had planned on staying longer. Definitely #1 on our list.

We had a great time staying here and experiencing Alaska. All the instructions were clear and detailed. Marna was also responsive and available if needed. We loved the location-it was exactly the vibe we were looking to have for our vacation. Thank you for the place to stay!

I couldn't stay up late enough for the sunset, but the morning mist in the lake was breathtaking. I would recommend this place for the view, the comfort and the cleanliness.

We had a great stay in this little cottage. It was exactly as represented, and Megan was very responsive to all our needs. The space was exceptionally clean and the perfect size for our needs. Just bummed we couldn’t stay longer but we will be back! Great space and location.

Lori was very generous and kind. Extremely safe neighborhood. She always put my needs above her own. She always had a positive attitude and knew a lot about her town. It was always a pleasure to see and spend time with her. Her dogs were friendly and well controlled.Her house felt like home and her hospitality made it a joy to share. It always felt like I was spending time at a friend’s place. Finally,she always went above and beyond in her duties as host. Finally,if you enjoy walking,there are trails nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at the Honeybee Lake Retreat in Willow, Alaska. The cabin came fully equipped with all necessary items, making it a comfortable home base. The lake was absolutely beautiful, with kayaks provided for exploring the serene waters and a firepit perfect for cozy evenings. As an Anchorage resident, I loved the easy access to outdoor activities and the stunning views. The host was responsive, and check-in was seamless. I highly recommend this retreat for anyone seeking a relaxing, nature-filled getaway in Alaska!

We brought our daughters there and found a paradise in the slip. The lake was wonderful and we enjoyed every minute of it. Our host was welcomed us to use any of the boats on their dock. It was a tremendous pleasure. The cabin was fully stocked and comfortable. Read the story in the guest book if you find yourself interested in the history of your surroundings or make history in this great spot. I know I’ll return again with my family when I get a chance for we live far away. Jim and Eva are fantastic in responding and making us comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The conspiracy hut was everything we needed and more. It was very clean, spacious, and fully stocked with necessities. Brad was incredibly accommodating. He answered any questions we had in a timely manner and made sure we knew what was available to us (lake toys, grill, fire pit, etc…) A huge selling point for us was the sauna! So relaxing and enjoyable. 10/10 would stay here again! If you’re looking for a fun place to stay in Big Lake - this is it!
