We had a wonderful stay at the Waldhaus. I don't think I've ever been in an AirBnB with better amenities. Communication was nice and easy. The sauna area is very nice and it is a real highlight to be able to go from it to the fire bowl in the garden. With a beautiful high-quality pool billiard table and an outdoor dartboard, we had great entertainment - but we also simply enjoyed the large balcony and the surroundings. We will be happy to come back.

A great house, a quiet location. Perfect for up to 10 guests. The space is there. The check-in worked wonderfully, the communication from the host was fast and reliable. He makes a friendly impression. The house really has everything you need. The garden is huge and everything is very well maintained. We can't wait for the next visit.

A nice location, with a terrace at the back, where you could sit nicely on the river, and behind the garden. It was a spacious house, with spacious rooms. Even the kitchen was a separate, and very spacious space. Everything was available. Very clean and tidy. Nice hiking in the village. Shops are 4 kilometers away. Edersee 20 minutes by car. Really worth it. A nice spicy walk done there. In short, value for the price.

Everything is great. Super sauna, great view of the lake and the amenities are super high quality. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Beautiful location, surrounded by nature, lots of sunlight. House is cozily decorated, you feel right at home. Anything you need is available. Extra effort was made for our small children (baby cot, high chair, stair gate). Close to beautiful hiking trails and only 5 to 10 min drive to other places in Winterberg for skiing/sledding. In the evening enjoyed a campfire and the sauna. Communication with the owners prior to our stay went very smoothly!

What a beautiful place Christine and Tom have, in the middle of the old town! The house is very cozy & well equipped and both Arnsberg and the surrounding area are beautiful. In addition, the contact with the hosts was very nice. Absolutely recommended!

We felt very comfortable from the first minute. We were warmly welcomed. The apartment is beautiful, super clean and well maintained. We liked the quiet location very much. When we had a question about the fireplace (don't have one at home😀), Silvia supported us by phone. The beds are totally cozy. From the apartment it is not far to beautiful sights (Plästerlegge waterfall for example) and larger cities (Willingen, Winterberg for example) After an active, eventful day, we were happy to return to the quiet, cozy apartment. In the well-equipped kitchen, we quickly cooked together and then ended the day on the comfortable couch in front of the fireplace - with a glass of wine or a beer 😉 Fully deserved 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the great Steigerhaus and a perfect vacation in the middle of the beautiful mountains. ❤️ Many thanks and best regards from the Beckmann family We will be very here

Very nice apartment in a super beautiful area. Clean, everything you need was there. Cozy:-) In a place where we were able to make many beautiful hikes. And lots of nice deals for children...

We were with 2 adults and two 9 year old children in Gisela's apartment. Due to the cozy furnishings, spacious layout of the rooms and the rustic outdoor area, we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The contact with Gisela is very nice and unobtrusive. On a cool day, she provided us with extra wood for the stove. Particularly noteworthy is the absolute peace and quiet! We would come back.

The house is perfectly located between many outdoor activities, which we enjoyed during our stay at their location. Our daughter was very pleased with the play set and toys, which were provided. We can most certainly recommend staying here.

Timo was super friendly and greeted me warmly right away. The apartment is modern, well maintained and sparkling clean. The quiet location was perfect for relaxing – highly recommended!

We spent a very nice long weekend in the Alte Forsthaus and were very enthusiastic about the apartment, in which nothing was missing (especially in the kitchen) and everything is visually so beautifully coordinated that you could only feel comfortable. We also particularly liked the garden and the location on the edge of the forest. You can start a hike directly, e.g. to the Dalheim Monastery or on the forest adventure trail. Helen's mother welcomed us very warmly and quickly answered and supported us with small questions. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area, it is a very relaxing place. A very nice stylish and clean apartment in a quiet relaxing environment. We were able to do a lot of things from here. Everything you need is there. You only have to get wood for the fireplace yourself! We would definitely gladly come back.

Very friendly host! Beautiful and spacious house. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back with the large group. Everything is child- and dog-friendly, modern and bright. The only thing that could have been better would have been if our need for rooms had been asked in advance (we were guests in a very variable constellation: parents with up to three children, but also individuals). We thought that the booking amount would include ALL bedrooms. However, we could have easily booked additional rooms - spontaneously and on site. Thank you for the stay, dear Paul

The place was exactly as described. However, this also means that there is no basic equipment in the kitchen in contrast to normal Airbnbs.

It was really very nice and quiet! A well equipped kitchen and a great living room that invites you to spend a game night together. The house is very clean and is well lit. The terrace is very nice and the dogs were also able to let off steam!

We felt very comfortable in the forest house. The house has a lot of charm and offers plenty of space, which should also be very suitable for large groups.

Perfect home for us to cycle with some friends in the region in the region. Kitchen was well equipped, clean and large living room. Bedrooms were fine. Location is perfect and easily accessible. Instructions to get in were clear. You can sit there on the balcony and there is a large garage to store our bicycles. Definitely a note!

We had a great stay. The house is very nice and the open fireplace is really the best for spending the cold winter evenings. The ski slopes of Winterberg are just a few minutes away, but there are plenty of other things to do in the surrounding area. We simply loved it.
