Orchard Barn Spa is a peaceful retreat for those looking to escape the city. We stayed there with our four month old and Chris was very accommodating, providing a baby bath etc. It provides the perfect base to explore all that the new forest has to offer, has ample parking space, is very clean and sits in a private plot. Thanks again Chris for a great stay and for your great communication throughout our trip.

Such a great place. Cupboards had essentials in and Val left us milk. 2 dressing gowns provided which I thought was lovely. Toiletries in bathroom. Great location , great host and great price!

We had such a lovely stay at the Potting Shed. The location was beautiful- so peaceful and picturesque. The Airbnb was cosy and the bed was extremely comfy. We were there in 30 degree heat but it was lovely and cool inside. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day and stay again!

I absolutely loved staying here. The house itself is very cosy and well set up with everything I needed. There are some beautiful walks on the door step and the surroundings are just lovely. Jo was on hand for anything I needed and was fantastic host. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area or looking for a an escape from the city.

We stayed at Jo and Trevor’s place as a last minute booking for a wedding. Though we didn’t spend too much time there, it was a lovely, cosy self contained chalet in the old milking parlour - as described! It’s in a quiet rural village location with views across expansive farmland from the property and parking right outside. We had a great stay and if we were in the area for some countryside walking, we’d definitely stay again. Honourable mention has to go to the shower which, in rural settings can often underwhelm but not here - plenty of pressure and plenty of hot water!

A beautiful cottage. Extremely comfortable with everything we could wish for. Tranquil and private. Outstanding decor throughout. Highly recommend this cottage for a weekend retreat. Looking forward to our next visit. Sally is an excellent host.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Piggery. It was absolutely beautiful, we loved the space and the indoor/outdoor living. Our two little girls had such a lovely time in the outdoor space while we could relax as it was so safe. We visited Longleat and it was a perfect locations, just 10 minutes away. The perfect place to unwind after a very busy day! Beverly was so lovely and made us all feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again!

Our stay at David and Jill’s place was one of our favourite Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! We couldn’t have asked any more from them, we were greeted on our arrival and they came over to check in on us as checked-out. We felt so looked after! David and Jill have thought about absolutely everything at the property, and the space is contemporary whilst also feeling cosy and relaxing. My partner and I wish we could move in!! The location is amazing, it is so quiet and peaceful, yet you can drive into big towns within 10-15 mins. David and Jill have such an amazing knowledge of the area and told us all the good spots to eat and explore throughout our stay - which was also conveniently all printed out and put into a folder for us to look through at our own leisure too. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will 100% be back. Thank you Jill and David for having us, and for making our weekend so special :)

We had a wonderful time at the Stone Barn! Nicky and Mark provided a beautiful home away from home that couldn’t have been better. It’s so peaceful and the views are amazing. The place was clean (beware if you’re not a fan of spiders though as there are a decent amount in corners, bathroom, etc due to the countryside location I’m sure) and they even gave us a lovely welcome package with local food items. They were responsive and made sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to call home in the Cotswolds area. We were within 1-1.5 hrs drive of all the major sightseeing places which was perfect.

We had amazing stay at Axe Valley View for a long birthday weekend in June. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay with beautiful valley views. We especially loved how wildlife and eco-friendly it was, both inside and out. A short drive to Lyme Regis where we attended the Fossil Festival 2025 and great local hiking routes, including Golden Cap in Bridport. Alison was a lovely and welcoming host and we would highly recommend a visit.

I highly recommend a stay at swallows retreat if you are looking for peace and tranquility. As a wheelchair user, I find it difficult to find somewhere suitable, this place ticked all the boxes and the hosts were as accommodating as you could ask for, triple checking everything would be ok. Chris and Ron have done a great job creating what they have here, so thank you both, we hope to see you again in the future!

Beautiful nature, small studio cottage, quiet and peaceful place. The host was friendly. Clear instructions. The linen could have been softer. Would definitely come again.

fantastic stay, thank you to Dorothy for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing, great folder left with recommendations on where to visit, where to go to eat etc, the views from the pub beer garden were just amazing. we went to a couple of local beaches and to monkey world, and corfe castle. and explored the surrounding beautiful village. annex was lovely, cosy and enjoyed using the private decking and garden. only one negative is that the water tasted chemically( if that's a word hahah) but we got around this by rinsing the kettle after each use and refilling the water per use. Thanks for a wonderful relaxing stay in beautiful Dorset.

Wow!! We had the best weekend 😀 It couldn't have been better. Jayne was so fantastic, we met her lovely husband and dog too. We found the place easily, checked in and shown around, and left to enjoy the super private, relaxing, comfortable hut in gorgeous surroundings... fields in all directions 😍 We were welcomed with birthday balloons and fizz on ice!! The hot tub was at the perfect temperature and was easy to heat the next day. We had an Indian take away delivered and didn't leave the place! So relaxing xx

My friends and I had an excellent stay here. The location was perfect for our biking trip and exploring the local area. The lodge was fantastic—spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and offering everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the pizza oven, which were great additions. The views were absolutely stunning. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

The nest had everything we wanted, and exceeded our expectation. Chaska and her family were friendly when we arrived and gave us privacy the rest of the time. The accommodation was lovely and surrounded by nature. The sauna was stunning and it was an absolute joy to have that outside our front door, we certainly made the most of it. And as we stayed on one of the hottest weekends, the outside shower was such an added bonus! The hot tub was far bigger than I expected, it was beautiful to be in there for sunset. And we loved the arm chair. When one of us got too hot we would get out and sit in the armchair whilst the other stayed in enjoying the hot tub. The location was great. A short walk to the local pub. Not far from Brean Sands and easy drive to Glastonbury. I would highly recommend The Nest and we are planning to come back in the winter.

We had a wonderful family stay at Brook Cottage - with 3 generations there was something for everyone! Vanessa was so kind and welcoming and explained all the facilities to us, there was a comprehensive folder inside too. We absolutely loved the cottage, it was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and so well equipped too. Everyone slept well in the comfy beds. The games room was great for our teenagers and grandparents could join in too. We also enjoyed games on the grass area near the glamping site and our bbq area/ garden was private and beautifully peaceful with wonderful seating area. We wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to friends. Thanks Vanessa!

A lovely annex flat set at the end of a private road with a very chilled vibe. Great views across the Glastonbury plane viewable from both rooms. Within easy driving distance of Wells, and Glastonbury and walkable to Cheddar. All the amenities to cook if you wish. This was our second stay which tells you all you need to know, a definite recommendation from us.

It was a very cosy and comfortable cottage. It's location is an excellent base to explore Wells, Cheddar and Glastonbury.

There are not enough words to do this property and Ava justice . It is truly stunning from its location to the laundered bedsheets , super equipped kitchen and so much more . We were made to feel so welcome . Ava and Chris really do go above and beyond . Our son Archie loved it and was encouraged by Ava to explore and see the cows . He really didn’t want to leave . Honestly we all wanted to stay . If you stay here , you will not be disappointed. We are looking for an excuse to come back

Highly recommended. This is our second visit. The apartment is very clean, well appointed and set in beautiful, well kept gardens. We enjoyed being able to walk our little dog in the private field/paddock at the rear of the property with lovely views of the surrounding fields and countryside. Well worth a visit and Steve is a very welcoming host.

Great place to stay if you are looking for something a bit different. Lovely surroundings. Hot tub fantastic for relaxing in the evening. Lots of bunnies, ducks and chickens on the property. Host is very friendly and helpful. Responds very quickly to any messages. Could have done without the 4.45am wake up call from a cockerel though. 🤣

Delightful stay. :) Hosts were helpful, friendly, and very welcoming, and the property is gorgeous! Set in beautiful surroundings, and felt right at home in the perfectly appointed accommodation - would absolutely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Birch barnlet this weekend. The barnlet was clean, tidy and had everything we could have needed and more. Hayley was great, messaged with clear instructions before we got there and even said hello to us when we were there, but we were equally left to our own devices which was brilliant. The scenery was beautiful, and we felt very safe. An absolutely brilliant place to stay when you just want a peaceful weekend away. Thanks Hayley!
