House holiday rentals in Mendrisio

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 8 at the Villa. We were prepared for the little walk through the village to access the villa having watched the video that was in the villa manual that was provided in advance of our stay. The villa itself is immaculate and well equipped. We found the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms to be ideal for 4 couples. The bedrooms had breathtaking views of Lake Como and the outside sitting areas were very private and also had great views. The pool was clean and easy to access providing a welcome cool down during hotter days. Maximillian was always available on WhatApp to answer any questions. The village itself is small and quaint - we had a nice rustic meal at the local restaurant and the owners were very hospitable. From the villa we drove down the hill to Menaggio where we got a ferry to explore the region. We hired two cars at Linate Airport & were able to explore easily. Highly recommend a stay at Familia Bremner villa. Thanks Ute & family

Unser Aufenthalt bei Doriano und Raffaela in Solbiate, in der Nähe von Como, war einfach wunderbar. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und lag in einer ruhigen Gegend – ideal zum Entspannen. Doriano und Raffaela waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns sofort wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Ich würde diesen Ort jederzeit weiterempfehlen!

We had a very delightful and relaxing stay at Hannes’s beautiful home overlooking gorgeous Lago Maggiore. Swimming in their pool was a definite highlight and was a refreshing treat during the hot days. The home is very well-appointed and comfortable. The gracious outdoor seating and mature plantings were lovely. Hannes and his family left very clear and friendly instructions about our stay and info about the surrounding area. Everything was thought out very well. Everyone we encountered in the surrounding towns was warm and welcoming. The nature is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us. We had an uplifting and joyous visit! It’s a special place and clearly a lovely family!

Das Haus hat eine fantastische Lage zwischen den Weinbergen von Brissago. Die Architektur, das Interieur und die Räume sind sehr schön und haben uns sehr gut gefallen - wir lieben puristisches Design. Viele Details im Haus und darum machen das Haus zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Wenn man abends auf der Terrasse sitzt , grillt, die grillen Zirpen und man bei einem Glas Wein auf den See blickt - dann ist diese Stimmung etwas Uniques- welches man nicht kaufen kann. Eva - die Hausfee - ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Mille Grazie für den schönen Aufenthalt im Casa Largo. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Die Ferienwohnung besticht durch ihre Lage mit einem tollen Ausblick auf den Comer See. Vor allem Terrasse, Pool und Garten drumherum sind liebevoll gestaltet - ein ruhiger und schöner Platz zum Wohlfühlen und Relaxen. Die Wohnung ist aber auch ansonsten ein guter Ausgangspunkt für unterschiedlichste Aktivitäten in der Umgebung und am See. Silvia hat uns herzlich aufgenommen und wir hatten jederzeit eine gute und schnelle Kommunikation.

We had a wonderful stay at Elena’s place in Lake Como! The view was absolutely breathtaking – even better than we expected – and the peaceful location made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The neighborhood felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The home was exactly as pictured: clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything we needed was there, and Elena was incredibly responsive and helpful any time we had a question. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. We can’t wait to come back!

This home was honestly such a dream! The host was easy to work with and provided a very helpful video for check in. The parking lot/suitable drop off point for a driver is a bit of a distance from the house, on a cobblestone walkway with stairs along the way. It was a lot of work to get my luggage to the house but SO WORTH IT! It’s absolutely gorgeous and as pictured. The outdoor areas are all stunning and lush - I loved sitting outside for coffee, breakfast, and watching the sunset in the evenings (but bring bug spray)! It rained most of my stay so I didn’t use the jacuzzi or outdoor shower much, but they were functional (I checked) and looked lovely. The ferry station and bus stops are about a 5 min walk away and a local market around 3 minutes away. The couple that owns the store was so sweet! I walked to 3 different restaurants nearby for dinner. They were within 3-15 minutes walking distance and wonderful food! This will absolutely be my first choice for a future Lake Como stay!

We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

Simona was an incredible host! We stayed at her home in Lake Como for our honeymoon and we could not have picked a better place- the house was beautiful with gorgeous mountain views and the area was quiet and peaceful. We took the ferry to get to more tourist-y locations, and Simona was wonderful about giving us recommendations for places to go and things to do both in the town we were staying in and around the lake. The house was clean and she even provided us with a couple of groceries and a pasta recipe. The location in Carate Urio is walkable, but you do have to get used to lots of stairs and walking on the side of roads. There are a couple restaurants and a small market that worked great for what we needed for the week since we traveled to different towns around Lake Como. Once you get used to the ferry system it's so easy to travel as the dock is only a ten minute walk. It was a perfect stay and I would most definitely recommend Simona's Casina delle Rose!

Beppe ist ein unfassbar herzlicher und zugänglicher Gastgeber. Die Wohnung und das ganze Haus waren sehr schön und gemütlich. Der Hinterhof war gemütlich und friedlich. Beppe hat uns tolle Tips für Ausflüge gegeben und war jederzeit erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder. :)

Our stay at Lake Como far exceeded our expectations. There were six of us, and the accommodations were immaculate—beautifully designed with thoughtful, loving details throughout. Our host, Nicola, was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had. I especially loved being just a bit removed from the busier parts of Lake Como—it gave us a sense of peace without sacrificing the view or convenience. The comfort, functionality, and scenery were all next level. If you’re planning a trip to Lake Como, this place is an absolute gem. We were genuinely sad to leave

Avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison pleine de charme de Noemi et Tommy . Bien que l'accès en voiture ne soit pas facile , une fois que vous êtes arrivés vous êtes récompensés par la vue époustouflante de toutes les fenêtres sur le lac et les montagnes !!! C'est assez magique !! Tout est pensé pour que chacun s'y sente bien , l'appartement est propre , joliment décoré l'endroit est calme , le village est accessible à pied . Bref tout était PARFAIT !! La communication avec Noemi a toujours été claire et agréable .

Very cozy apartment, with a nice kitchen and terrace. Some parts, e.g. the bedroom, looked a bit different from the photos, but it was fine. Everything is rustic Italian :) Susanna was super responsive, proactive, and very very friendly. There is a nice beach/waterfront close by, a 10-minute walk, with a nice bar. Also, it's very quiet, which was a plus.

Beste Aurelia en co-hosts, het was een superverblijf in Como. We verbleven twee nachten met een gezin van 4 personen (2 kinderen van 9 en 4 jaar), maar hadden nog wel langer willen blijven. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en we voelden ons snel thuis. De kinderen sliepen in de slaapkamer en de volwassen op de slaapbank, die voelde als een bed. De lido in Lenno aan het Comomeer was geweldig. Lekker gezwommen! Daarna uit eten, ruime keuze aan restaurants. We kozen voor een traditioneel Italiaans restaurant. Heerlijk gegeten. Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid en misschien tot een volgende keer!

Endroit très paisible, et parfait pour les amoureux de la nature ! L'hôte a été très proactif et les échanges été fluides. Bref, séjour parfait !

Picturesque setting! Villa felt like home!

Anna’s place was wonderful for our family - we felt super comfortable and at home. We loved the view from each of the balconies, where we watched fireworks almost nightly. The kids loved playing in the yard and watching deer munch on grass in the yard at times. Anna went above and beyond for both us adults and the kids with little gifts upon arrival, which made us feel super welcome. The location was also perfect for a base to explore the region and access to restaurants was very convenient. We would definitely return and highly recommend Anna’s place for anyone looking for a place in the Como area. Thanks again Anna for your hospitality!

O. M. G. Andrea was the best host! When you think “host with the most” that’s him. He was the most responsive, kind, generous and amazing host we have ever encountered. The place was GORGEOUS. With the most wonderful view and right down the road was a perfect “beach” where we ate at a few times and spent the day to soak up the sun and water. He checked in on us every morning and evening making sure we didn’t need anything and offered the most generous things. We can’t wait to come back and visit Andrea and his beautiful home again. 10/10 recommend (even though this place is so perfect, part of me wants to gate-keep it 😉) BOOK THIS PLACE! Literal perfection.

Monica und ihr Sohn haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns mit unseren viel zu vielen Koffern geholfen. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir eine kleine Tarte mit unseren Namen auf dem Esstisch gefunden. Monica hat uns Sachen fürs Frühstück und auch was zum Abendessen da gelassen. Eine Minibar (gegen Geld) gab es auch. Die Unterkunft war super sauber. Wir konnten uns toll über die Terrassen und den Garten ausbreiten und die tolle Aussicht genießen. Würden definitiv wieder kommen!

Für uns war die Casa Berta die perfekte Unterkunft! Wir waren je einen Tag in Bellagio und Como - und waren heilfroh, die Menschenmassen (Ende Mai!) hinter uns lassen zu können und in so einem ruhigen, charmanten Bergdorf zu wohnen. Die Straße hinauf haben wir uns von den Bewertungen her schlimmer vorgestellt - es ist ja gottseidank nicht viel Verkehr hier hinauf. Wir haben dennoch den Bus bevorzugt, der eigentlich immer zuverlässig gefahren ist (außer sonntags, da fährt er halt generell nicht). Die Casa selbst ist echt entzückend. Alles wie auf den Fotos. Sehr bequemes Bett und Kopfpolster. Auch die Dusche mit gutem Wasserdruck (normal mag ich keine Duschvorhänge, aber die Dusche ist groß genug, sodass der Vorhang, der noch dazu nicht aus Plastik ist, nicht am Körper kleben bleibt). Die Terrasse ist auch mega, wir haben hier viel Zeit verbracht. Perfekt wäre es noch, wenn es auch auf der Terrasse Empfang gäbe, um z. B. Musik zu streamen oder den nächsten Tag zu planen.

Serene location that is even more beautiful than the pictures. The proactive instructions were super helpful and our family enjoyed the walk to the villa and throughout the lovely neighborhood. The view outside each window, the patio and the villa itself was pristine. We enjoyed wine and snacks with a phenomenal view and peace. Naomis Häuschen im Wald ist ein Traum! Mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt, auch um selber zu kochen, und wunderschön gelegen. Naomi war super lieb und hat uns sogar ein kleines Willkommensgeschenk bereitgelegt! Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Ort um Sich zu entspannen, Lugano und Umgebung oder die umliegenden Berge zu erkunden! Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!
