Cottage holiday rentals in Mérens-les-Vals

This is a beautiful mountain home, with great views of the 'Alta Garrotxa' mountains. It is located on the edge of the small village of Rocabruna and about 15 mins drive from the nearest town, Camprodon. The house is very comfortable and well maintained. Nice local hikes from the house (recommend the castle hike) and Camprodon is a really nice town. The road up from Camprodon is good but the last 3km are narrow, so drive carefully!

Un immense MERCI à Jean Louis sans oublier Sophie et son délicieux dîner. une cuisinière hors pair nous avons passé une très bonne soirée autour se dégustations de vins du domaine. le lodge est très bien situé au cœur du domaine vignoble avis aux amateurs de tranquillité c'est l'endroit idéal. Le lodge est parfaitement équipé et très bien décoré, quel plaisir de profiter du paysages de la terrasse et de la piscine. Nous recommandons vivement ce lodge et tout ce qui ça avec. Limoux n'est qu'à 10 min en voiture,avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour les vacances. De très belles choses à découvrir au niveau touristique aux alentours. Encore merci Jean Louis et Sophie, belle fin de saison à vous et de belles vendanges également 🤗

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gîte Tanagra. Chloé et sa famille sont très accueillants, disponible tout en restant très discrets. La maison est pleine de charme et bien équipée, la piscine au milieu de ce panorama a été très appréciée par les petits et les grands ! Plein de choses à faire et à voir dans les environs, idéal pour un séjour en famille !

Nous avons adoré cette maison magnifique perchée au-dessus d’une petite vallée pyrénéenne et sa belle rivière ! On était 8 et avait toute la place qu’il faut pour bien se décontracter, cuisiner et s’amuser ensemble (info à noter quand même : la 5e chambre n’en est pas une, mais une mezzanine au-dessus du salon et de la cuisine, donc pas toujours tranquille, et son aménagement n’est pas de la même très bonne qualité que les autres chambres). Notre hôte était très disponible et sympathique. Nous avons fait de très jolie balades autour du village, la vallée est vraiment une merveille. En gros, une très très bonne adresse !!

Es la segunda vez que nos hospedamos y serán muchas más, casita super equipada en un lugar idílico. Juan Carlos un grandísimo anfitrión, siempre nos hace sentir como en casa, la chimenea con esa leña de Olmo de la zona es lo más. ¡ 100 % recomendable !

Em estat per Sant Joan un grup d’amics amb els nostres gossos. És un lloc fantàstic i tranquil amb un paisatge paradisíac. La casa és gran i està equipada amb tot el que necessites per relaxar-te i gaudir. Hi ha possibilitat de fer excursions des de la pròpia ubicació sense necessitar el cotxe. L’accés fins a la casa amb el cotxe pot ser una mica complicat ja que els carrers del poble son una mica estrets, però la carretera qui hi porta està amb molt bon estat. L’atenció del Sergi ha estat immillorable; ens ha respost tots els dubtes que em pogut tenir amb amabilitat i proactivitat. Un amfitrió de primera. Molt recomanable, segur que repetirem.

ons verblijf was heerlijk! omringd door een prachtige omgeving , fijn huisje en volledig omheinde tuin wat extra tof was voor onze hond. de Jacuzzi was ontzettend fijn ! Fijne plek om lekker buiten te zitten en relaxen bij je eigen huisje. Adembenemende mooie natuurlijke omgeving om te ontdekken. Caty is een superfijne en vriendelijke host! wij waren tijdens ons verblijf erg blij met haar.

Endroit charmant au calme et hors du temps. Une agréable expérience

We loved our stay here. It was a short weekend getaway for us and the gorgeous view of the river and the nice garden area were perfect for this. Felt like we were transported to this peaceful haven and the place played a huge role in giving us a much needed vacation from everything. Oh and we were able to take our little pup with us and the fact that there was a small enclosed garden area was extra perfect. Becky and Andy were so nice to us and accommodating too. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was super cosy and the food was excellent. We left wishing we had booked for a little longer

We had a most wonderful two-week stay at this unique house full of charm and soul. The house is beautiful and spacious, the kitchen is super lovely and well-equipped to gather for memorable family meals, children have so much to discover with the playroom and the garden, and the surroundings are very special with many gorgeous walking trails nearby and with ski slopes just a short drive away. Pat and her husband were great hosts, they were always responsive and we especially appreciated that they accommodated our family’s needs and responded right away to quickly resolve any questions or issues we had (which is not easy considering the house is not in a big city and solutions might not always be quick). Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Nuestra estancia en Semana Santa en la casa de Pere fue fantastica. Situada en la montaña con unas vistas espectaculares, la casa es muy acogedora y esta muy bien dotada. Fue ideal para nuestra toda familia. Buscabamos tranquilidad, contacto con la naturaleza, caminos para pasear y una casa con todas las comodidades para poder cocinar y hacer asados; y fue eso exctamente lo que encontramos!! Además Pere siempre estuvo pendiente y fue muy amable. Volveríamos mil veces!!

Los anfitriones muy amables y siempre pendientes de tu llegada, la casa nos encantó, es cómoda no le falta nada. hemos pasado un fin de semana muy tranquilo y agradable.

La casa esta ubicada en un pueblo pequeño y muy tranquilo. Ideal para ir con familia y amigos. El trato con el propietario muy correcto. Muy recomendable si se quiere disfrutar de la naturaleza y desconectar unos dias.

Un endroit magique pour déconnecter ou seuls le chant des oiseaux et le bruit de la rivière se font entendre… Les gîtes permettent d’être chez soi en toute intimité. L’environnement est très beau et de nombreuses randonnées sont à faire à proximité. Enfin, la cerise sur le gâteau: l’accueil, la gentillesse et le sourire de Kate font vraiment la différence ! Nous pensons déjà à revenir ! À bientôt Kate !

Le séjour s'est parfaitement déroulé. Nous étions dans un cocon de douceur, hors du temps, pour cette soirée/nuit passée en famille. Louise a été réactive (nous avons réservé le matin pour le soir même) et toujours d'une grande gentillesse dans tous nos échanges.

Roquefixade is a very picturesque village and the accomodation is excellent, with a spectacular outlook. There are lovely walks in the area. We especially enjoyed the chateau circuit and another loop walk to Les Demoiselles. Tom was a very friendly and helpful host.

Hemos pasado tres días preciosos en el alojamiento de Joan Carles. Super ubicación para hacer excursiones y desconectar mucho. El apartamento impecable. Gracias por todo volveremos!

The house is really cozy and comfortable (especially the beds!!) fully equipped kitchen, perfect to make nice dinners! We had a lovely time!

Lovely, peaceful and cozy house in a small mountain village. Had all the amenities possible along with the beautiful view from the balcony. I think the place is suitable for 2 people or 2 adults with children, because the second bedroom is quite small. The shower was tricky (hot water is not always running) but we figured it out. The host is very friendly and responsive, gave us local recommendations which we used and weren’t disappointed! La molina ski resort is 20 min away, but unfortunately there is not a lot of snow there 🥲

Parfait logement pour 4 personnes durant notre court séjour dans la région. Meublé avec style et qualité (très bonne literie), il est bien équipé et très propre. La propriétaire, Isabelle, très gentille, répond efficacement à toute question. Environnement verdoyant, au calme. Le grand jardin sur les photos n’est pas privatif mais celui de la propriété. Très bonne localisation pour rayonner en Ariège (Foix, Mirepoix..) et Carcassonne.

Une bulle de bonheur ! Le Petit Cinq est à l'image d'Anthony &Rachel , accueillant, soigné, chaleureux , paisible et très confortable . Mille mercis à eux pour leurs attentions , nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end ! Bien accompagnés de notre toutounette Stella au top . Un doux break très réussi. La vue ainsi que le logement sont sublimes. Nous reviendrons je l'espère !

We really enjoyed our stay with Amy and Duncan! It's a beautiful place, really peaceful with gorgeous views, and it was so nice to have the pool! Duncan and Amy were very friendly hosts - we felt right at home :) It's an ideal location if you have a car and you want to travel around a bit - within an hour or two of a drive there are lots of places to see and things to do - castles, caves, mountains, lovely towns with beautiful old buildings. We would definitely go back here, and will be recommending it to our friends!

We had a fantastic stay for 20 days at Mark & Nina’s place with our 1-year old. Just as the pictures suggest it is beautifully situated in the Pyreneés mountains and the house really matchens the surroundings. The house is beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything you need. The robust fireplaces and very special barbecue are amazing and adds a lot to the experience. The pool is great and with a fantastic view. The area offers a lot of hikes and natur experience as well as there are plenty of picturesque small towns within 1 hour drive to visit. Car is needed. Communication with Mark and Nina was easy and while at the house we were well taken care of by Silvia who manages the house. In summary we couldnt have asked for a better place to stay and we hope to come back again in the future.
