Monthly Rentals in Mézilhac

A cocoon in the heart of the Ardèche forest! We spent a month, warmly welcomed by this young Ardèche family. 20 minutes away is a large market town, Cheylard for shopping, the market, and succulent ice cream. The cottage is very comfortable (good bedding), decorated with sobriety and a lot of taste. Nearby and further afield, very nice hikes. We had a lovely stay in the heart of nature. It is a pretty and pleasant country house, with everything you can expect: the natural environment, the interior decoration, the amenities, etc. Great for a country stay, surrounded by greenery. There is really all the necessary amenities and even more: everything you need in the kitchen, indoor and outdoor games, etc. For us, the only small downside is the isolation. Please note, this is not a criticism, because it is very clearly stated in the descriptions, and it is also what we were looking for. But I think we underestimated this point a little. And despite Vincent's advice, we were pretty badly organized for shopping, and drove the car far too much over 3 days (shopping, restaurants + recharging my electric car - note that there is a 22kWh terminal in Mézilhac, 10 minutes from the house). So my advice: listen carefully to Vincent's advice! First supermarket 30 minutes of winding road; first small grocery store 15 minutes... Plan everything beforehand!

Our stay at Justine's went very well, the house is very quiet despite the proximity of a road, very well equipped and functional, the setting is beautiful.

A true haven of peace in the middle of the Ardèche mountains💛! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rémi's "mountain" house. The accommodation is spacious, tastefully furnished and decorated, everything is functional. The garden offers wonderful sunset views and the village is peaceful. Thanks to Rémi for his advice and responsiveness!
