The most adorable cottage and getaway for my husband and I! I am picky and this one checked all the boxes. We loved being right across the street from the private access beach, walkable to Whistle Stop, comfortable and super clean accommodations - everything feels well thought out from the sheets to the design choices and we appreciated all of the details. We will definitely be back!

Everything was good just washing machine was not working and dish washer wasn’t operating good and there was enough toiletries

Beautiful location that feels secluded. Pool table and poker table are a great touch, and yhe lake is not heavily populated. The kayaks available were very relaxing on a nice day.

Simply beautiful! My daughter ( 7 year old) and my goddaughter ( 5 year old) enjoyed themselves! We loved the layout, beautiful scenery, spacious rooms, the updated amenities, the spa bathtub and the outdoor patio swing is amazing! This house is somewhere you can relax and rewind, enjoy yourself and feel safe at! Angie, is the best! I recommend you stay at Angie’s beach house! You will love this house!!!!!!

The home was beautiful and clean. The bed linens were washed and fresh, the bathrooms were like home. I would definately rent again as I give it a five star rating.

Wish there were a few games/books/activies in the unit other than that great place clean and modern.

What a wonderful stay we had in Matthew's beautiful beach house! The house was perfectly clean with all the listed amenities and more. Thoughtful welcome gifts, very well-appointed kitchen and bathrooms, and great linens. The pool area was clean and beautiful, and there were ample pool toys, lawnchairs, seating, etc. The layout of the home is perfect -- there are many seating areas for different groups to have their own conversations and a very large kitchen/dining table for all to be together. The beach is steps away, and there is almost no one there so it is private and expansive. Matthew provided so much information about the local things to do and see --- I was born and raised in the area and did not know about some of them! I really cannot say enough about the place or Matthew's generous and communicative hosting style. We came here on the recommendation of a prior guest and we are so glad we did!

We had a wonderful stay in this A-Frame style home. The house is split down the middle and two full homes are inside! There was a large family that stayed in the other part of the home and we barely heard them. The home itself was very fun to stay in, the AC worked very well and it is incredibly close to two! beaches. We will definitely be going back and Natalie was very responsive!

Really enjoyed the cottage for our family of four. The place is walking distance to the beach and a local playground. We enjoyed staying in nature but being able to drive to New Buffalo for restaurants or other things. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

We had a quick visit, only two nights, so we didn’t get to enjoy as much of the property as we were hoping. The walk to the beach is woodsy, easy and beautiful. The place itself was nice with coffee and plenty of linens, as well as little cereal bar breakfast on Saturday morning. It was just my husband and I and it suited our needs just fine. The guidebook was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and more and we enjoyed reading a little about the history of the property. We had no issues arise during our stay and I would recommend The Neighborhood in New Buffalo to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway.

We loved how close the beach of Lake Michigan was. The pools were heated and great. The boys loved the fishing and hunting for unique rocks. And, they brought all their stuff to play video games on the TV. We use the griddle to make breakfast and my daughter door dashed Starbucks every day. Just keeping it real. We had some great local meals as well. If you are looking for a special occasion meal that is close by and you can spend more for the great seafood, steaks and ribs then make Reservations at Grande Mere Inn. We noticed a favorite from the guest book was SilverBeach Pizza in St Joe and it was good. We ordered traditional and a bit of the unique topping flavors. We also ate in St. Joseph at Bucks Bugers and Brew. Great burgers and onion rings. Just a heads up, all theses chalets are built as duplex so, you may have neighbors you can hear talking out on the enclosed patio. Our shower was a small one and you want to lay down a towel to catch leaks. Wel oved our last minute vaca.

We came with 8 ladies to celebrate a birthday! The house is beautiful, spacious, very clean! Kitchen is well stocked! Beds are all comfortable and it sleeps many! A king room, 2 queen rooms, a bunk groom that sleeps 8! And other pull out couches and futons! Lots of tv’s. So much room! The neighborhood is so cute and friendly. There is a fire pit with 10 chairs, and the pool right down the street! Kayaks and a golf cart! Lake Michigan is a short walk or golf cart ride right across the street from the neighborhood resort! New Buffalo is about 15-20 min away! I can’t wait to come back! This is the Perfect house for a weekend getaway with friends or a week long vacation with friends or family! I highly recommend this house to anyone and everyone! Book and enjoy! 😃

We absolutely loved this place and our stay. The lake views were more beautiful than the photos could show, the chalet is comfortable and well-stocked, and there was so much to do in the community that we didn't even scratch the surface. We loved the beach area which wasn't crowded at all, even on Labor Day weekend. We drove in to St. Joseph for dinner and to go to ur favorite shops - super easy drive. The walk to the beach was so short we didn't even take a lunch out there, just popped up to the house whenever we needed a restroom break or a snack. We never needed to contact Ben but got plenty of communication beforehand and the manual in the house provided info of how to text him if we needed to. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

Great place to stay, right on the beach, comfortable.

it was a nice place. the only downfall was there was no wash rags to wash your body with. and no blinds throughout the house.

The house was great: super clean, great beach access, and comfortable for two couples. My only tip: There are no window coverings on the bedroom windows, so depending on the time of year the sunlight may wake you earlier than you would like.

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

We had a great time! And, we would come back. Beautiful view of the lake, beautifully decorated and great layout. It was so nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. Plenty of towels and lake towels as well. Easily accommodated 3 couples. A great place for families as well! Hosts were very responsive and helpful with questions. The kitchen was well stocked. It was so nice to have the kayaks available and the pontoon was really fun. Drive to Notre Dame was easy.

We choose Trevah’s place for our family weekend getaway. It was fun. My granddaughter enjoyed the spacious home. She answered our questions in a timely manner and was helpful getting us connected with the Marina to rent a pontoon for the day. Our family had a blast. The one thing that we all had to get used to was the lack of window shades, specially for the sunrise. Don’t get us wrong. We loved all the windows. But it was something to get used to. Definitely would will consider coming back. Thank you Trevah for sharing your home with us. Otherwise lovely home.

This is a great place to stay! Everything is just as it is described! We had the best time relaxing. We took a day trip to St. Joseph. We mostly enjoyed how cozy everything inside is. The bed, furniture, and layout were outstanding! This is one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed via AirBnB.

Our family loves staying at this great lake house. We’ve stayed several times and will keep coming back. The yard is fantastic, there is a private beach and a dock to keep your boat during your stay. Laura is an excellent host and very responsive and accommodating. Thank you Laura!
