Beautiful Holiday Rental with Seaview

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely stunning views from this lovely apartment. We stayed midweek and out of season and were blessed with good weather. The sitting room has fantastic views out to sea. The bedrooms have sea views too and the sunrise view is beautiful. The apartment is clean and peaceful - we heard no noise from any neighbours at all. The beds were comfy; plenty of storage space and all the kitchen equipment needed. The shower is powerful and hot water plentiful. The location is tremendous for food and drink. The pub is very close and welcoming and the food very good. We also ate at Fish Cottage and Estbek House - both fantastic. No shop in walking distance but a very good Lidl less than 10 minutes drive away. The highlights for us were the walks from right outside the door (Cleveland Way, Mulgrave Woods including castle) and the public transport (2 buses an hour in either direction from right outside). Parking space right across the road (designated). Strongly recommend!!

Lovely little apartment, well presented and very clean. Perfect for exploring the surrounding area and nice walks into Staithes and Runswick. Spoke to Dave and Katie, the owners on many occasions, very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

The Highlander

Amazing stay! We could only stay for one night this time but we will definitely be booking for 2 nights next time! Lovely little lodge with hot tub, private enough for a couples retreat! Absolutely loved our stay, we didn’t want too leave this morning. The touches of the welcome basket, slippers & towel were a perfect touch! Thankyou so much for a lovely stay! The hot tub was also amazing!! See you soon!

Ravenswood Sandsend

GillianRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Debra's place has a phenomenal view of the sea, you feel like you could almost touch it, sitting staring at the waves from the large panoramic bay window. Staying at the flat was both invigorating and calming. The captivating view means you don't need to go out, but if you do, it's a stones throw from glorious walks and close to Whitby. This is a luxurious seaside escape, we can't wait to go back.

Forget-Me-Not Cottage

GrahamRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This was a fantastic place to stay for our 3-night break near Whitby and N.Yorks Moors, and we would very happily book again! Just outside Whitby, and only 1 minute away from the efficient park and ride, but with a real feel of being on the edge of the countryside. We had two lovely evening walks from the property beside farm fields where we saw hares, a barn owl, and lots of birdlife in the hedgerows. The only point to note is that the property is very close to the roundabout at the junction of two A roads, which at peak traffic times are BUSY and quite noisy. Inside, the property is well sound-insulated, and even as an dedicated peace and quiet lover it didn't bother me at all, but if you are hoping for total traffic silence, you may want to look elsewhere. However this property is amazing value, and in such an otherwise great location, so well presented and comfortable, and with such a lovely helpful host I would book without hesitation! Hope your injury recovers Quickly Lisa, X

The Piggery

BarryRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Excellent stay at The Piggery. Molly made sure we had all the info we needed prior to arriving. The place itself is beautiful! The weather was quite cold while we were there so we couldn't really make use of the stunning balcony with amazing views! I imagine it is brilliant in the summer. Plenty of shops in Sleight village within a 10/15 minute walk. Train station to get to Whitby is around a 20 minute walk from The Piggery.
