I had a really great time in the home & close to everything I wanted to get to

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This was one of the comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in. Spacious apartment and the shower was large and beautiful with fantastic water pressure and temperature. Memory foam mattress and lovely pillows (not flat, not feather, not super thick!!!). Appreciated having a water boiler to make tea easily. The TV was a bit outdated and small, but did the job. Great communication with Jim. We loved waking up to the sound of singing, happy birds outside! ***this review above is for before our last night there, which we couldn't stay because a fire burnt the house severely and ruined almost all of our belongings with water and smoke...clothes, shoes, electronics, makeup, etc. But this is not the fault of the owner and I feel terrible for him, and for us, and wanted to write a review on how great the stay was before this tragedy.

I loved how she responded to my text right away. No wait time. The place was ver cozy and reasonably priced. Loved my time there.

Located in the heart of the city, this place was perfect for our weekend getaway. The host provided excellent tips on local eateries and attractions! I would definitely recommend and would stay again when we visit New Orleans again. Thank you!

this was a beautiful suite that was the perfect place to rest our heads after adventurous days exploring the french quarter. if we ever come back we will book again.

Comfortable and perfectly located in a great area! We had everything we needed for a family vacation. The pool and spa worked great and we just took one morning to swim, relax, and visit with each other in that awesome tropical backyard. We had a car so we didn’t need transportation but we did walk to the streetcar one day, plus it would be easy to Uber/Lyft from Gary’s place to the popular locations in New Orleans. We didn’t cook, because, frankly, why would you in food paradise when the local restaurants do it so well, but the kitchen was well stocked should you want to cook. We had fun using the game table, TVs, and sound system. Everything was a hit with our kids who were with us to celebrate their recent college graduations. We would stay here again for any occasion but the end of May was the perfect time for warm weather AND the end of crawfish season which we were thrilled to miss. Thanks, Gary!

Kurt was a lovely host from the start. He was super accommodating with my questions in advance re: baby gear at the house and timing on our last minute reservation. The house is absolutely gorgeous, too. It's spacious, well decorated, and felt more like a home than an Airbnb. It was nice and quiet, and we always felt safe in the neighborhood. If you're traveling with a baby, this place is perfect! The pack and play and two "high chair" options (one Bumbo-esque tabletop option and another larger tabletop one) were great to have, as was the little xylophone in addition to the small toys we brought with us :) The sink is perfect baby bathing size, as well!

Everything was as expected. I loved the vibe. We felt very comfortable immediately. I loved the architectural details. When talking with Lindsey it felt like texting a friend. lots of warmth and welcome. 5 minute walk to coffee and yummy food. A block from the trolley. Never felt unsafe even once, and we had 4 kids in tow. I would stay here again over any other N.O. rental I've used previously.

Mandie’s place was just as described,it was very clean and the bed was comfortable.She was very responsive, one of the best places I’ve stayed definitely would come back again.

Space is exactly as described in a really lovely, artful part of the city with easy walking/biking/running to the Quarter or the Bywater neighborhood. Lots of green spaces nearby. Wifi is fast and great for remote work. Lots of restaurants and places to enjoy all around. Kitchen amenities limited as mentioned by hosts, so bring your appetite for enjoying out! Good to consider for longer stays perhaps.

The home has a charming vintage feel with beautiful original details. It was cozy, peaceful, and perfectly located—whether you're here for the music, food, history, or culture, it's an ideal base for exploring New Orleans.

Great stay! Only gave the check-in one less star because the instructions gave a specific color of the gate and it was a little confusing since the house next door was actually blue and the gate was not. Wasn’t terribly hard to figure out but just sometime maybe to update for future guests :) I felt very at home in the space heaving just moved out of New Orleans. Would stay again 1000%. Beautiful, beautiful space.

Perfect place, if You (as me) has a conference in nearby University. Very clean, nice garden, nice owner. Public transport nearby. A good coffe at the university 3min away. Please just note, there are almost no groceries or shops or restaurants in short walking distance from house. But interior is very nice and stay was perfect. Andy

This AirBnB was perfect for what we needed for a fun weekend in New Orleans! The neighborhood is quiet and a little off the beaten path so it’s peaceful and away from all of the bustle and hustle, while still relatively close to all the fun. It took less than 10 minutes to get to all of the places we wanted to visit. There were other guests that stayed in the upstairs unit but they never hung out at the pool at the same time as us, so it was nice having a private pool to ourselves! It was nice that there was plenty of free parking available since we arrived in three cars. The house was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Great safe stay for our family vacation. Extremely comfortable beds and quiet. Easy street parking in front of the house at all times.

The house was just what our family needed for our trip to NOLA. The location is perfect. It took us about 15 minutes to get to wherever we wanted to go. There are plenty of restaurants and markets close by and within walking distance. The neighborhood was friendly and felt very safe. The house was just as described and was a nice place to come back to after a long day exploring. The hosts supplied so many things that are often forgotten by travelers. The pool was a welcome respite after a long hot day. The house provides plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. NOLA definitely has its own vibe and this house allowed us to feel like the locals during our stay. Thanks for sharing.

If you are ok with something close to everything, but not in the middle of anything, then rent this place. It is lovely, Deborah was lovely. It was comfortable, it was easy, it was great place to spend the weekend. To be clear we were not there to party and did not want to be in middle of the French quarter. So if you are, then maybe this is not the right place for you. But we were never more than 10-15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go, and for us it was perfect.

Tamarin and Steve were so kind and thoughtful with details. We enjoyed the art on display in the guest suite, and the pool was lovely. The garden and porch rocking chairs made it feel like a quiet little oasis in the middle of the busy city. Close to everything, especially Superior Seafood, our daughter’s favorite place for pomegranate mojitos and everything on the menu. We also love Bearcat for breakfast. The guest suite is filled with antiques and repurposed materials, so eclectic and fun.

10/10 Highly Recommend ! This was my boyfriend’s and I second time staying here. Everything is as pictured and the hosts are very responsive. I’m already thinking about coming back the end of June. Thanks for everything and providing a home away from home.

he made sure everything was up to what we paid for and that we were all happy.He answered all calls and text if anything happened and fixed things right away with no questions asked.Everything was clean and well taken care of the pool was a nice plus to have in the heat it was very clean.He was friendly with us like he knew us and treated us like a friend. I would 100% come back. awesome host.

Interesting property located within easy walking distance of French Quarter. Great kitchen facilities, including a coffee machine where unusually the hosts had provided sufficient pods for our entire stay which was a nice touch. Clean linen and comfy beds in all rooms. Ratio of bedrooms to restroom/shower facilities not a problem for our one family group, but groups requiring more privacy should be aware the ground floor bathroom is very small and off the kitchen, which could pose ‘logistical’ issues for some. Also, water temperature can fluctuate significantly, so recommend supervision of youngsters while showering. Just a few bits to be aware of, none of which detracted from a great stay!
