Holiday rentals with beach access in Mid Devon District

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

I was genuinely impressed by how comfortable and cozy the apartment was. Everything is done with care and attention to detail — it’s clear a lot of love went into creating this space. It was a real pleasure to stay here, and I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. The location is also great, especially if you’re travelling without a car. 'Rowsley' is a fabulous apartment. It is very comfortable and is well kitted out with everything you need. The location is perfect, we left our little car parked and walked everywhere. We really enjoyed our time visiting Lyme Regis and meeting Sheena.

5☆ we had a great 4 day break, Julie & Chris are excellent hosts & the apartment exceeded all our expectations & is in fact much bigger than it appears in the pics. The apartment has everything you need, is super clean & the view is amazing. Everything in the apartment is top quality, from the bed linen & towels to the shower gels provided. Had an amazing stay here, the property is lovely and in a perfect location The waterbed was a shock but actually pretty comfy and slept really well. Had an internet issue which Ali resolved even though she was in Spain, great host and would definitely recommend this property

This cottage in Porlock was wonderful - and in a simply great location. Porlock is a beautiful village - and in 10-15 minutes you can walt down the hill from the cottage and be in the village (where there are pubs, restaurants, and fish and chips - as well as great local stores). The house was gorgeous and very clean and well-appointed. Everything you might need (from coffee to laundry detergent to paper towels) was stocked. The rooms were light with good views from the bedrooms. Highly recommend!

Beer is certainly worth a visit, a beautiful village on the coast with stunning scenery in all directions. Nikki and Chris's cottage is comfortable, welcoming and convenient for the area with private off-street parking. Communication was excellent throughout with local tips and knowledge. Would certainly recommend their property.

Tilly's is such a beautiful little place! Me and my boyfriend went for a little getaway for 4 nights and we were so impressed with Tilly's. Julie and Keith were great hosts and have done an amazing job with creating such a beautiful place. Julie was so attentive and helpful, easy check-in and out too. The private garden with a nice hot tub and fire place was lovely whilst watching the sunset. We will definitely be returning!

Such a lovely and peaceful place to rest and recuperate (the garden is such a hidden gem) but as someone travelling with a little one, it was also just a short walk to the main beach for making sandcastles!

Perfect place for a couple. Centrally located for whole of South Hams area. Really quiet. The host was really welcoming. Accommodation was really well presented and spotlessly clean. Super bathroom and a really comfortable bed. We’d certainly stay there again!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Perfect relaxing week Thankyou x

Just had 4 nights stay in this beautiful apartment with amazing views. It’s modern, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in this area.

This was our third time staying here. It’s a lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and in a great location. Paul and Wendy are very friendly and helpful hosts. We love coming here to relax and walk. We can safely park up the car on the drive and not have to use it again until we leave, as there are lots of nice places to visit on foot, good restaurants and cafes.

Beautiful accommodation. But because we are 80 we felt a little isolated as we couldn’t manage to walk from the property, it would be better suited for younger fit guests

Karens place is beautifully decorated there is nothing gone to chance this place is exceptionally well presented, its absolutely beautiful and great value for money, I stayed there whilst I was working away so was a bit gutted I couldn't enjoy it longer! this is a must if in the area, it has everything a couple or family could wish for, I'd love to return with my family!

Wonderful, great location for the train station and beach and a really lovely property. Roz was extremely accommodating and we had a fantastic stay. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment with stunning views. brand new bathroom with walk in shower and lovely Neal's Yard products which smell amazing. Welcome pack of food goodies including milk, butter, croissants cheese, jam, marmalade and a bowl full of fresh fruit. Couldn't have asked more from our hosts Lynne and Neal. Lyme Nook is a stylish, comfortable and well located apartment. The host's communications and recommendations were excellent. A beautiful, tranquil location next to the river and within easy walking distance to the sea front, restaurants and other attractions at Lyme Regis. Would definitely recommend!
