House holiday rentals in Milford on Sea

It was a very nice lodge clean and tidy only 5 minutes ti the beach sainsbury just 2 minutes away and host good communication

We were looking for somewhere in the New Forest area to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. This house was perfect for us all, 8 adults and 5 grandchildren. The house is in a beautiful, quiet location which is exactly what we wanted. The house has everything you need and more, fully fitted kitchen with massive island and dinning table. All rooms were spotless as well as the many toilets and bathrooms. We stayed in the master bedroom which is very tastefully decorated. The swimming pool was a big bonus, perfect size and depth for our Grandchildren and very warm. It also had a padlocked gate to keep the little ones out when playing in the garden. Our host Katie was brilliant from start to finish keeping us updated on the stay and very responsive to messages. She provided a welcome food pack of sausages, bacon, bread and essentials which was really appreciated. Katie even took the time to let our grandchildren help her feed her horses. Can’t wait to return!

This is our second time staying in this lovely caravan. It’s always pristine and lovely. I always felt like a home away from home there. The bedrooms are a good size and the extra full bathroom is a definite plus! I’d highly recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at this caravan. The listing accurately reflects the accommodation. Sarah added some extra little touches which made our children happy. The park itself has plenty to do for all the family.

The accommodation was lovely and clean. The lodge was in a quiet cul de sac. The kitchen was well stocked, the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The site was well kept, the swimming pool and sauna were really nice. Communication with Julie was excellent. We look forward to staying here again.

My wife and I have stayed at Helen's place several times, each time we have enjoyed ourselves, we would recommend Helen's place to anyone, it's always very clean and tidy, well equipped. It is situated in a nice part of the park.plenty of places to visit locally, great places to eat and drink , our favourite is the smugglers inn at Milford on sea, great meals and lovely beer garden.

What can we say! Carolyn was amazing from the start, ❤️ Always helpful with every little detail. She even left us some gifts and a cheerful message for our Anniversary! We had such a wonderful relaxed holiday, made even more special because we knew that Carolyn was there to help us with anything we needed. Fantastic location for exploring the new Forest and the South Coast! Beautiful beach at Sandbanks 😃 We recommend Horseshoe Bottom and The Rising sun pub! Not to be missed! All made possible because we were able to stay at Koda’s lodge! Was like home from home! Lots of little extras that made it feel so homely! Loved the lodge and Shorefield Holiday park had everything we needed for a great stay! Can not recommend this enough! 5* for Carolyn, 5* for Koda”s Lodge and 5* for the location! Simple Amazing!! We had a great stay here for a getaway weekend - Fiona was super friendly, gave good recommendations for walks, pubs etc and left us to it. The guest house is a great size with everything you need and in perfect condition. Location was beautiful with great scenery and walks especially when the sun was out. Overall would highly recommend and would love to stay here again!

The cottage was a beautiful and peaceful place to be at the end of the day after a long walk. Clare made us feel welcome with little things such as milk in the fridge, butter and jam, biscuits…etc. It feels very homely, clean and welcoming. As soon as I stepped in I didn’t want to leave the place! Great location too with cafés close by to have breakfast or lunch and places for drinks and dinner. We had the opportunity to check in early and leave later which made our stay longer, which was well appreciated. I would recommend it to friends and family.

A beautiful little cottage in an super location, just a short walk from the beach, Sturt pond and the salt marshes which all provided an interesting array of wildlife and water activities. The owners have taken great care and thought with furnishings, fittings and decoration for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Communication with the owners was easy and we were made to feel very welcome.

We love the place. Large common area with nice bbq stove. The location is superb as it is close to Waitrose and various tourist attractions 🤩

Just perfect ! Beautifully appointed accommodation which is both a touch of luxury and homely. The location could not be better , in the centre of Christchurch which is a friendly pretty town with lots of restaurants and shops. Excellent public transport so you can take a break from driving ! Chris and Judy catered for our every need and more .The welcome treats are a lovely touch .They are very responsive and friendly but very discreet . This is our favourite UK holiday destination Chris and Judys' will now be our 'go to' accommodation .

Fabulous home. Perfect for our family holiday as you can all spread out to different areas, and also large enough to all enjoy spaces together. Our toddler and my father absolutely loved the garden. It’s the perfect size, and so peaceful. My husband and I enjoyed the Games room (really fun with the neon lights and disco lights on whilst playing Pacman! ) and my mum loved playing the piano in there. My Gran enjoyed snoozing in the sunroom. All spotlessly clean. Beds all comfy. Great there’s a twin room and toilet/ shower room downstairs as that worked well for my Gran so she didn’t have to negotiate the stairs. Brilliant location just a few minutes away from the village or seafront. Excellent communication throughout. Thank you for a gorgeous stay.

This was an amazing house for a family get together and perfectly located on between us in Sussex and other family from Devon. The house was spacious and spotlessly clean with a lovely welcome basket full of treats. My 4yr granddaughter loved the bedroom with the steps, slide and fairy lights. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. With several small children in our party, we also took advantage of the washing machine and tumble dryer. The garden was brilliant and our grandchildren absolutely loved the play house and games room. The hot tub really came into it's own on a warm day with during torrential rain. The host Catherine was super helpful both before our stay answering a few queries and on check on day itself. I would highly recommend the house.

We had a fantastic stay at this property in Milford-on-Sea. Our host was very welcoming and responsive to all our queries both before and during our stay. The property was well stocked with everything you could possibly need as well as being spotless and comfortable with incredible views. The location is perfect, only a few minutes away from the local village and pub, which is perfect for an evening meal, as well as the view of the Needles from the coast, which is breathtaking and perfect for a stroll. Other highlights include Hurst castle, Beaulieu and the New Forest itself. Milford was the perfect centre point for so many great activities and walks with plenty of information and maps included in the property. The garden was such a peaceful place to relax after a long day exploring and the kitchen was well equipped for home cooking as well. Overall, we could not have asked for a better property, host or location and would certainly return here again. Thank you so much for having us!

Echoing other reviews, this is an absolutely stunning place. I totally fell in love with it - so unique, full of character, beautifully done up, and with everything needed for a stay. Such fun being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the sea. Thanks for a truly fab stay.

A lovely cosy little place that is in a quiet, peaceful location but equally well located for seeing West Isle of Wight. We didn't bring a car as the bus service is really reliable. The description and pictures are very accurate so be under no illusions that the place is best suited to 2 people. But equally, the bathroom in particular is a high standard for this kind of place and it has everything we needed.

Our stay was everything we wanted; relaxing, close to beaches/walks, and cosy. Michelle was a great host as she accommodated us with an early check-in as well as clear, helpful information regarding the area. Our paths crossed briefly and her and her husband were both very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is as listed, clean and equipped with all the amenities as detailed on the listing. The location of the property is great too, with Barton Beach a 5min walk away and other local pubs and restaurants a nice 10-15mins walk along the coast. We drove into Bournemouth on our last day which was less than 30mins. Overall, we had a lovely weekend and I would recommend Michelle’s place to anyone visiting the area. 10/10.

We have just returned from a wonderful 9 day break in Barton on Sea, and I couldn't recommend the place highly enough! The house was very clean and had all the amenities that you could possibly want for on holiday. The kitchen was very well equipped and the basic layout very comfortable indeed. We found the house without any problems and checking in was straightforward. This was my first time in the area, and I have to point out how very clean I found the whole place. Barton on Sea is immaculately well looked after. I went on several local walks and was amazed at how generally well kept it all was. The local pub, The Housemartin was within an easy 20 minute walk and served very good food and the staff were very helpful and friendly. As it was a holiday we were in there more than once too! All in all, I would rate this as one of the very best properties that I have stayed in over my fairly long time on Airbnb.

Really great place to stay, due to road closures caused by cliff slides you need to drive the wrong way down a one way street to reach the house - the satnav will not take you that way! Otherwise it was fantastic base to explore the Isle of Wight!

Holly Cottage is beautiful. We enjoyed 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The cottage is really comfortable and peaceful. The hot tub was fabulous and thankfully without the strong chemical smell and feel you get with some. The open plan living area and kitchen provides a great space for cooking and chatting. The location is also superb. Easy walk to village and beautiful places for dog walking. Zoe was responsive throughout our booking and we would not hesitate to stay in her wonderful house again.

The Air BnB of Gwyneth is a wonderful place. It‘s a really cozy little cottage with everything you need. We really liked all the lovely details in the beautiful appartment and we also fell in love with the beautiful flower garden and the landscape around us. Gwyneth was a really nice host. She gave us so many tipps for places to shop, eat and things to do around the Air BnB. We would come back anytime.
