About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. We can always see water from our property, but the water’s edge is out past the trees. Great for a walk in the lakebed! also, please check out our neighboring property, Shades of Blue!

The Minden Belle

This historic home is on Broadway making it easy to get to everything in Minden! Walkable to downtown churches, stores, coffee shops and restaurants! The rich history makes your stay memorable too! Dr. Milton Richardson owned this home from 1963-1989 during which time he, along with his brother, Tom and father Sam, also doctors, started the Minden Medical Center, just a short walk down the street! Dr. Milton’s granddaughter, Liz, now owns the home and is your Superhost!

The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.

Welcome to The Coleman Landing! We generally refer to this as our ‘townhouse’ because it is our house that is in town and we are excited to share it with you! Although it is located just blocks from historic downtown, it’s very peaceful and spacious! Great for grilling and spending time with family. 3 car/boat covered parking. All amenities provided except food and drinks. Absolutely no smoking inside. Quiet time after 10pm is a must!

Our 1 Bedroom Cabin is over the water on Lake Claiborne. Very Clean swimming area with great views of the lake. Boat ramp and dock for guest use. Can sleep up to 7 with ease. Easy to access the cabin for people who have trouble with steps. There is only one step up from ground level into the cabin.
