Monthly Rentals in Mirahawatta

I spent 3 nights at the White Square Homestay and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean place in a beautiful house not far away from town (accessible by bus). The family is extremely friendly and they will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. They cook the best food that I have tried in my 7 months in Sri Lanka ! On top of the delicious food, I really enjoyed the balcony from which you can see peacocks, mangoose and grizzled giant squirrels ! I will definitely stay with Chandana's family again :)

Stayed at Shehan's place for 2 nights along with my family. The property is extremely beautiful, private, peaceful and away from the slightly more commercialised parts of Ella. Ella town is a 15-20 minute drive away, but that was not much of an issue for us. Sunil, the caretaker, was really helpful and is an extremely sweet person. you can absolutely take his word on food recommendations if you've asked him to prepare a meal or two there. Shehan was also in constant touch to ensure there were no hassles, though in all honesty, there's nothing to be worried about!! Loved the stay and a definite recommend for people looking to unwind in a serene, private & chic place.

The river is incredible to bath in , this is the highlight for me & my friend. The beds are very comfortable The bathroom is a bit old & dated but functional The kitchen is functional, could do with another good pan to cook, and gave this feedback to owner Owners parents live across the yard
