Rijs is located in Friesland, a popular province in the northern part of the Netherlands featuring picturesque towns, lakes and woodlands. Rijs and its surroundings offer numerous watersport activities, biking and walking trails. Minutes away, you can find great restaurants and woodland excursions, or stroll a little further to the beach. Nearby towns offer notable shopping, cultural events, golf or horse riding. The grocery store is 1.5 km away, and the shopping district is just 5 km away!

Studio with unique view over the IJsselmeer

In the old core of Hindeloopen is a fisherman's cottage (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio has a king size bed, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space. Parking is available at the cottage itself, as long as you have a small car. Otherwise, we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking space at the port. You can store your bicycles in the garden that comes with the guest house.

Old biscuit factory. Myrthe

There is an old biscuit factory in the picturesque village of Molkwerum on the Frisian IJsselmeer coast. Until 2015, the " Molkwarder Koeke" was baked here , it nog is baked in Joure. We bought the building in 2015 with the idea of making appartement in it, this finally happened in 2023. First we starten with 1 ( appartement Myrthe) and in 2025 the 2nd was adder ( appartement Sterre) The old bakery is in a quiet placemat in the middle of the village on the village canal.

Design forest cottage in Friesland

Our forest cottage is 70 m2 and is located in a forest park with 40 cottages and near the IJsselmeer, a forest lake and golf course. There are many family-friendly activities in the neighborhood. The cottage is efficiently arranged and modernly decorated. The garden is almost 1000m2 and has a large picnic table, trampoline, swing and playhouse. Bicycles are available for adults and (young) children. No rental to groups. Max 1 family, max 4 people, no dogs.

Our atmospheric Chalet de Huismus is located on a quiet 4-star ANWB Camping in Rijs, directly on the Rijsterbos in Gaasterland. The isolated chalet has access to a rural living room with air conditioning, 2 bedrooms, modern kitchen and bathroom + 2 bicycles on loan. Kom met het hele gezin tot rust in deze schone en nette chalet aan de rand van het bos De chalet staat op camping rijsterbos en is geschikt voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen . op 1,7 km door het bos ligt het IJsselmeer waar gezwommen en gesurft kan worden.Op het terras vh strandpaviljoen kunt u genieten van een hapje&drankje.
