Monthly Rentals in Mirtos Potamos

A really enjoyable stay at Platankia. It was extremely well equipped and had everything you would need and more, only thing that would help would a microwave - the kids really enjoyed the toys that were in the beach basket and kept them entertained without the need for a TV etc. Be warned wifi is a bit slow but great if you want to disconnect from the Internet for a while. Some really great restaurants, would recommend Vespas for Pizzas and Vitsalo is great for seafood. Everyone in town is extremely friendly and kind and Myrtos is always contactable if you have any other queries. We enjoyed being able to pick oranges and lemons and made enough lemonade to sink a battleship! I really enjoyed the hmock and the slide and swing is great for children. It is extremely private as you have large greenhouses on both sides but at the same time it is super easy to walk into town. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and would come back. The gorge is worth seeing and lots of other stuff

Everything has already been said, it's just unbelievable. Popi embodies Greek hospitality. There were drinks and vegetables in the refrigerator. You could help yourself in their beautiful garden. The highlight was the great food. We had fresh fish and many different vegetarian things. Simply delicious. Unfortunately, it was only 4 days, but they were great. We would come back anytime. We had a wonderful time at Antonios' place! The property was perfectly & accurately described & after we booked it, Antonios sent us lots of additional helpful details, tips & great suggestions. We were just 2 people, so the property felt quite roomy, which was nice. I would say that a car is needed - not so much for the daily tasks as going to the beach or grabbing food, but for the freedom, convenience & affordability when exploring the surrounding. We covered almost the whole eastern part of the island in 20 days & Antonios' villa served as a perfect base. The closest bakery is excellent. The walk to Gra Ligia beach took me 20 min - possible, doable, nice to have in a way, but carefully with the traffic on the road. The Gra Ligia beach is quite nice actually - fine sand inside and not too deep. We were driving to other beaches, but there is a close, nice option too. Overall, the stay at Antonios' place was wonderful- great deal, super service! Will do it again without doubt!

Lovely stay with a responsive but discreet host. Being early in the season we enjoyed low crowds and peaceful, uncrowded beach and waterfront. The room was immaculate and Lisa was very helpful. A very enjoyable stay and highly recommended.
