We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

We had a very pleasant stay with two adults and two children. Awesome house, clean and welcoming, all amenities. The location was quiet and peaceful and very lovely with a pool in the heat :) Pia responded quickly and was very service minded. We would gladly came back :)

A beautiful house which worked perfectly for our family of 7. Freshly renovated to a high standard. Kids loved the pool and it was great to have the ability to have a boat docked at the house. Amazing view. All in all a great experience.

This was really a great resort where the whole family had a great time. The home is large and has a very high standard. It is located in a quiet area, but at the same time it is a short distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. In addition, the home has a great rooftop terrace with good views, and a fantastic outdoor area with various zones that are screened off from the surroundings. They have a great pool with associated sun loungers, and several different seating groups that allow you to "stay" in the garden in fine weather. Therese was a nice and professional host who made everything possible for a very pleasant stay.

Jan was an amazing host to my family and I during our stay in Norway. Our accommodations was clean and exactly what was shown in the pictures. Jan provided clear instructions, was very responsive and accommodating to us. Thank you Jan 😊

Very nice and tidy, good space for larger groups. Clean rooms and bathrooms, and you have everything you need to have a good stay. Marian also responds very quickly and accurately, and she helps if needed. Recommended

Very nice, expensive electricity

We came to Norway to visit for a month. We were excited, but that pales in comparison to the experience we had with Richard. We didn’t know what we were in for! We stayed in his beautiful family home, with a magnificent garden and spectacular views. Richard’s house that his Dad built is sparkling clean and well cared for. The area is ideal. Richard took us on an unforgettable hike to the summit of the mountain. He kindly fielded the questions we peppered him with. At the summit of the mountain we had a delicious local meal grilled in the open air kettle with coffee made with water straight from the lake. Our stay at Iselin's home in Steinsåsen was absolutely wonderful. The house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The nearby beach was fantastic, offering great attractions for the kids and providing a perfect spot for relaxation and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. While not in Oslo, the location is sufficiently close, and I found it convenient to travel to the city a few times a week. The surrounding area offers breathtaking views and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. Iselin was an excellent host, providing clear instructions and prompt responses to any questions we had. Her attention to detail and hospitality made us feel right at home. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene and enjoyable getaway. Thank you, Iselin, for an unforgettable experience.
