Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

This was a marvelous, magical place to stay. It was away from the hustle and bustle and was very peaceful. The place was so nice that we almost didn’t feel like leaving it to look around lake como. As the house is on the edge of the lake we often liked to sit outside read a book accompanied by the lapping of the waves. The decor of the flat was tasteful and unique and the whole feel was luxurious. recorecommend this place more

Besonders angenehm war auch der private Parkplatz direkt oberhalb der Unterkunft – sehr praktisch und stressfrei. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Elisa war jederzeit erreichbar, unglaublich hilfsbereit und hat uns schnell auf unsere Fragen geantwortet. Ihre Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants waren durchweg großartig! Ein ganz besonderer Tipp: das Restaurant „Tipi Tipici“ in Molina – hervorragende Auswahl, tolle Qualität und ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen – absolute Empfehlung!

Die Wohnung ist in einem kleinem authentischen Dorf und hatte alles was man braucht. Sogar einen Netflix Zugang den man nutzen kann. Das Restaurant Tipi Tipici kann ich von Herzen Empfehlen und die Wanderwege rund um das Dorf. Der Kontakt mit Barbara war immer freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend, es gab Tipps und wichtigste Hinwiese die den Aufenthalt angenehmer gemacht haben.

Un joli endroit pour passer un joli moment. Un vue à couper le souffle, un espace à vivre agréable et grand. Un parking dédié à l’appartement ce qui sur ce type de site n’est pas négligeable. Enfin il est à noté que les instructions de Cristina via YouTube sont très pertinentes et utiles au moment de l’arrivée: que ce soit pour repérer le lieu sûr pour y accéder.

Beautiful cozy cottage right on Lake Como! We loved our stay here. The kitchen was great and the host provided the first morning essentials (eggs, butter, coffee, yogurt, milk) which was a life saver. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the incredible Finnish sauna! We swam off the dock in the lake daily and hung out in the yard with so many beautiful ducks and swans! There are a couple good restaurants within walking distance, but do be aware you have to walk on a busy road to get to the closest town which is Lierna (10 minute walk). We did not have a car and it was not a problem with the ferry and the proximity to town. I highly recommend this place and would book it again in a heartbeat.

Elisabetta’s place is a jasmine-scented oasis with a view to die for. Lake Como is deservedly famous, but can feel crowded and touristy. If you want the best view of the lake with parking included, a romantic bedroom, a well equipped kitchen, reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance, cute cobbled streets and an utterly charming host, then look no further. And did I mention the view?
