Romantic old house in Govone, Roero

The house built in 1943 has a splendid view of the Roero hills, with vineyards on one side and the Govone Castle on the other. The house was my family's country house and has been totally preserved with the exception of the two bathrooms and the kitchen which were completely renovated in 2016. In 2022 important works aimed at saving energy were carried out: insulation on the external walls, replacement of windows and shutters, solar panels and heat pump.

Pian del Mund is a small village located at 640 m., nestled in the green hills of Alta Langa among woods, hazelnuts and small vineyards that overlook the Alps, dominated by Monviso. From here you can set off on foot or by bike along one of the stretches of the ancient Via del Sale that runs along the ridge beside the farm campsite, from which you can enjoy beautiful views of the Langhe that change with the seasons.
