Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. In a quiet location with a beautiful view of the Rhine, the log cabin is located right next to the edge of the forest. With 130 m², there is enough space in a 3-room apartment and it offers a pleasant atmosphere with a fireplace. You can explore castles via hiking trails or by boat trips in the Middle Rhine Valley, which is known for the UNESCO World Heritage. All shops, supermarkets (REWE, Lidl), restaurants as well as tourist attractions and boat docks are easily reached on foot.

From the terrace you're looking at beautiful vineyards and from the panoramic swing, located in the slope behind the house, you can even see the the river rhine. By foot you reach the river in 5 minutes. The legendary loreley rock is just 5 km away. Hiking trails like the Rheinsteig and Jakobsweg start in front of your door. Enjoy your stay

Engine shed in the old train station **Industrial Style**

Pure nature! You live in an old train station directly on hiking and biking trails. Absolute tranquility (almost) without neighbors. Slow-moving freight trains pass by on the rails 3 times a day. On weekends they are still - then you can watch deer or even a fox there. The apartment is located in the former engine shed of the train station and is stylishly/individually and comfortably furnished. It is now available for the first time after complete renovation of the building.

The apartment is bright, sunny, barrier-free and modernly furnished. Built in 2021. The town of Vielbach is 5 minutes from the A3. ICE train station and outlet in Montabaur can be reached in 15 minutes. Cologne and Frankfurt airports can be reached in 45 minutes. Various tourist attractions are available nearby. Despite the good connection, the place is in a rural idyll. The apartment is built barrier-free and senior-friendly.

The property is located in Dotzheim-Kohlheck, with quick access to the forest. The room with bathroom is about 19 m² and has a workplace with good Wi-Fi connection. The bed has a lying surface of 140 x 200 m. The nearest bus stop can be reached in about 5 minutes' walk and the city center is about 10 minutes drive away. The nearest Rewe or bakery with breakfast option can be reached in 10 minutes walk.
