The cottage is 35 minutes from the sea, (Argelès-Plage), 35 minutes from the Spanish border and 1.5 hours from Font Romeu and its ski resorts. Capacity 4 people max. The city of Perpignan is 20 km (25 min) away, and Thuir with all its shops is 10 minutes away. Small shops in Fourques, 3 km from the gîte: doctor, pharmacy, SPAR (supermarket), Post Office, ATM. Perched at 1400m and facing south, it features a large, very flowery garden and a breathtaking view of the valley, Canigou, and the Carança massifs. Ideal for disconnecting! Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe. Numerous hiking or mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Our hamlet enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located 40 minutes from the ski slopes and one hour from the sea.
