Holiday rentals with a patio in Montelupo Fiorentino

Tammy and Eme were wonderful hosts. My wife and I booked for quite a long stay as part of a sabbatical in Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Casa al Poggio is in a quiet location, surrounded by spectacular countryside, between two small towns, each charming in its own way, and with easy access to both Florence and Siena. Tammy and Eme offered great recommendations regarding places to explore in the local area and a host of tips that helped us get the most out of our stay. We absolutely intend to return and stay with them again.

Very central location, apartment was very modern and clean. Enjoyed our stay but would highlight that the apartment is hard to access with large luggage and/or elderly guests, otherwise would highly recommend.

Marco was an excellent host

It was a beautiful stay right in the heart of Florence with a Duomo view! We loved the location and ambience of the area. We felt extremely safe in the neighborhood and everything was walking distance. Can’t beat a better location for all things Florence!

Lorenzo is a very responsive and nice host. The place is as described. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Niccolo was so helpful with my check in process and patient with my lag from the airport/T2, and I was very grateful he helped me with my bag! The entire process was super smooth and the space itself was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Communication (not even needed after check in) was great and I had a wonderful time. It's quieter than a lot of more popular areas, but still extremely accessible. I love walking and everything was within 15-20 minutes, with San Miniato and Piazzale Michelangelo being a comfortable ~30 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again, Aurora and her team are great and made my stay in Florence the best!

Great apartment. Great location. A little disappointing to go outside and see the outdoor area dusty and not set up for guests. The outdoor space had empty pots and non of the decorations from the photos, BUT the lush garden around and at the top of the stairs was really lovely, and made up for it. The kitchen had what you need, and what was lacking, the host was quick to remedy. I would recommend this place.

I think one of the nicest B&Bs I've shot. A tastefully furnished environment with a special view from the breakfast area provided and cared for in every detail like the whole house, it was also nice to shower in that bathroom! We did not fully enjoy it since we leaned here to go to Mugello (I don't recommend it if you want to be late and leave the circuit at night), the road is relatively little but it is not the best option if you want to be comfortable getting to the circuit. An ideal place to escape to find tranquility, silence and nature and fully enjoy what this special place offers✨🍃

Im not sure I have the words to describe how wonderful our stay was. Leonardo is the kindest host. He went above and beyond to help us prepare for our stay, get us checked in and met us for a proper goodbye. The home is immaculate and luxurious but very comfortable and designed so cool! The best part is the pool. We spent most of our time at the pool. We loved cooking and using the outside grill. Leonardo has a shopper you can hire to have groceries waiting for you. This was so helpful. We were a quick taxi or bus ride from all the attractions. We loved Florence but staying at Leonardo’s home made it the best stay we had in Europe! It’s the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you Leonardo for everything, we will dream of coming back someday.

Andrea en Simone, Are very welcoming, the location is a smal walk but with good directions easy to find. Palaia and the accommodation has amazed us, with a amazing home away from home. Great facilities, terrace, jacuzzi, pool, and not to forget amazing views. As a base to explore there is alot of interesting places to go to witin a hour drive. big cities, smaller towns, wineries, and with a tiny bit extra travelling time the sea. We had a great stay with our friends and made some great memories. would recommend the accommodation, as well as the hosts, and would definitely stay again. Kind Regards, Boyd and Naomi

The accommodation is very well presented, beautifully located in the Rural Tuscan landscape amongst nature yet only a short commute to Florence. Facilities are ideal. AC, One double bedroom with en-suite a second large bedroom, bathroom, lounge, dining area and kitchen. Outdoor dining area. We love our coffee and the kitchen came equipped with a wonderful coffee machine that uses tea-bag like pods (few supplied) that makes extraordinary espresso. ❤️ Outside the terrace has wonderful views over a Tuscan valley. The pool is ideal and salt water which we love. Perfect for outdoor living too. To get to Florence is a breeze. Driving just 10 minutes to Lastra a Signa train station (loads of free parking); then a couple of Euros and two stops on the train later you emerge in the heart of Florence, a short walk away from the city attractions. La Capella was beautiful! Titti was there to welcome us and made sure we had everything we needed. This stay is in between the beautiful Tuscany country and the city of Florence. Perfect to get both experiences! We would absolutely stay here again!

The host was very kind — they gave us a ride to the station and even checked in later to make sure we had a way back in the evening. Highly recommended!

We had a quick stop in Pisa so Pauline’s place was perfect. Good walk from train station and to the Tower. Pizzeria just across from the outside door was spectacular. Very friendly and close when you are just beat from a day of travel. Pauline’s apartment was clean and ready for us. AC was great for the little heat wave we had. Slept great. Even prior to booking the apartment, the host were very responsive to our questions. Once we booked it, they were very proactive and welcoming us to the apartment. Flexible check-in and they met us at the property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like home. They were very responsive during our trip. Great quiet location. 10 minutes walking to the Domo area. Local area, full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Daniela’s place was pretty and clean, exactly as described: within a block of the tram which was 4 stops (8 minutes) into Florence downtown. We chose this apartment specifically because we had a rental car and knew we couldn’t drive into Florence city center and this was exactly as described. Very comfortable, pretty and clean! There is a great supermarket nearby, a pizza restaurant and an amazing gelato place (Leoncino’s)- seriously, go there! Daniela was very responsive and everything was great!

Staying at Fabrizio’s place in Florence was an absolute pleasure. From the moment i booked, Fabrizio was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. He provided clear directions, great local recommendations, and made check-in smooth and easy. The apartment itself was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The location was perfect: close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. Fabrizio clearly takes pride in being a great host, and it shows. We felt very welcome and well taken care of. It is a compact apartment. There is a small elevator that works well, but there’s still a flight of stairs to get up to the unit. Once you get up there, the view is amazing. The apartment lives much larger because of the terrace. We had some extremely hot days but the air conditioning worked great. Try the Dyson filter fan too, it really adds to the comfort. There’s a nice bakery/Café directly across the street with wonderful pastries for the morning and the market about a 10 minute walk away is wonderful for fresh fruits and salads.

Absolutely loved the location of the apartment, right in the middle of the city center. Everything was walkable 😍 The room was exactly as advertised and Alessandra was a superb host, friend, responsive and great recommendations. I recommend to go here if you are about to visit Florence
