Holiday rentals in Monteoliveto

This was such a peaceful and private location and we loved our time in the tiny house. If you want something close to San Gimignano (5 min drive) but peaceful and private then this is perfect. It’s also only 50 mins to Siena and 45 mins to the Chianti region. We loved our stay here, the place was quaint and had everything you need. We also loved having access to the pool up at the main house (7 min walk) on the hotter days, which was clean and well cared for. You definitely need a car to stay here as it’s too far to walk with luggage from local towns. Our host was responsive and gave us great local recommendations and lots of options for in house eating also. Would definitely stay again!

Couldn't be happier with our stay at the. beautiful apartment in a great location in the middle of San Gimignano. Veronica met us at check in despite being later than anticipated. Was also very quick to respond to queries including helping us when we locked ourselves out of the apartment. Easy 5 stars

The renovated church was incredibly interesting and I was fascinated by its long history. The church is nestled within a tranquil olive grove which made it easy to relax and disconnect from the stressors of the big city. Roberto was absolutely incredible and I cannot give higher praise—he is truly the standard when it comes to hosts. He was attentive, responsive to any issues, and helpful to solve any difficulties that we had with travel arrangements. It’s easy to see why this property is in such high demand. It was my first time staying in Tuscany and Roberto’s church is already calling me back for another stay! Most highly recommended.

This is an incredible property to stay at in the Tuscany region of Italy. The room was large and with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The property itself is gorgeous with a great swimming pool and views of the surrounding area. The breakfast was ‘okay’. Small selection and on mornings where all the other guests eat at the same time they ran out of items quickly and were slow to restock. Communication is also ‘okay’. Holidu is the Airbnb host but there are on site staff as well so there isn’t really a direct line of contact to the actual ‘host’. But when we asked the on site staff for help they were very friendly and helped as quick as they could. If you are planning to walk into San Gimignano be prepared for a healthy walk. It’s very doable (we are 31years old) but if you can’t comfortably walk ~20min (up hill going into town) you’ll want to drive and parking can be a nightmare. All in all, fantastic Airbnb and would recommend.

very nice and peaceful place but still 5 minutes walk from main street of San Gimignano. bare in mind that if you want to park your car at this place you will be charged extra 8 euros per day.

Loved Rosanna’s place, there was everything we needed and even food/wine there on my late arrival! The place was in THE BEST location and the view from the quiet terrace was perfect. Aircon worked a dream and it was great value for money. It’s in a beautiful part of the town and Le Vecchie Mura was a perfect restaurant 2 mins away. Totally recommend staying here; the place and town are magical.

Staying in Patrizia's Green Door apartment has now become an annual tradition. First off, Patrizia is simply the perfect hostess, always repying instantly with a heart-warming bubbly demeanour in a flourish of kind words, always ready to help or recommend places to see. The apartment is small but well laid out, perfect in size as a base for our outings in and around San Gimignano and is very well maintained, decorated with much charm, and ALWAYS impeccably clean when we arrive. The selection of cookies, sweets and other savoury delights at your disposal is almost overwhelming. There is absolutely no noise from traffic despite that the city centre is just a short walk away. You can park for free less than a five-minute walk away from the apartment, something otherwise hard to obtain this close to the city walls. The full-size bed is wonderful if you like me suffer from back issues. Worth noting is also the picturesque view from the bedroom window.

Property is amazing, host so friendly and helpful… Honestly we spent very little time on the property as we were exploring so much of Tuscany during our stay with the lovely location as our home base. But it was so beautiful to wake to every day and come “home” to late every evening :) During our 6 days, we explored Florence, hung out in Siena, hiked Chianti trails, visiting all over from Monteriggioni to San Gimignano to Volterra… and throughout Val d’Orcia from Montepulciano to Pienza , Pitigliano to Serano… and north to Lucca & Pisa. Just wonderful location :) Thank you so much!
