The villa was magnificent! It was so atmospheric and charming, breakfast from Carla were so good, it was a really pleasant stay. The room was also really comfortable, with history and a lot of cute details. And also this location .. can’t describe in words how beautiful it was

We had a wonderful stay with Anelida and Mauro. We had a beautiful view of Montecchiello and surrounding countryside from our window. The house is an authentic old country house with the apartment on a separate entrance. It’s surrounded by a lovely garden, very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was a real highlight as was communicating with Anelida in my limited Italian. We would highly recommend! The central location in the Val D’Orcia meant that most villages were only a short drive away, especially Pienza, Montipulciano, San Quirico and Bagno Vignoni.

We had a great stay at Sylvia’s place. Location is excellent, walkable to everywhere and peaceful despite being close to a lively area. It was super clean, simply furnished but very comfortable and we loved having access to the terrace. Sylvia is a fabulous host- she was very friendly and helpful, especially spending time helping us work out the best way to travel to Pisa airport on the day of a national strike! It was nice to also have basics for breakfast - tea coffee milk juice toasts and jam, etc. I’d thoroughly recommend Sylvia’s place and would stay here again.

Very responsive host. The location is in the historical centre, you cannot park there but the elevators from the parking is not far away. Very nice breakfast.

Benedetta and her husband were truly wonderful hosts — kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. Their proactive communication and genuine hospitality made everything feel effortless and so much fun. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. We can’t wait to visit them again on our next trip!

Stefan and Piero were very friendly and welcoming, looked after us and provided a gluten free breakfast for my husband each morning. The bedroom and en-suite were exceptionally clean and well provided for. It’s located a few minutes from the Duomo, right in the centre of the city with all the sights on its doorstep. Thoroughly recommended!

Die Unterkunft bei Dina ist wirklich toll. Es war schön ruhig, der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt, sodass mein Hund frei laufen konnte und durfte. Zum spazieren sind wir gleich rauf auf den Hügel voller Olivenbäume. Wir machten auch einen schönen Trailrun. Man ist in wenigen Minuten am See oder bei Supermärkten. Das besondere an der Unterkunft ist aber Dina selbst. Sie ist eine wirklich tolle, liebe, herzliche, freundliche und gesprächige Dame und immer stehts bemüht, damit man sich wohl fühlt. Mein Suchhundazubi Dami und ich, hatten wirklich eine tolle Zeit. Vielen Dank :)

L’établissement est reculé & loin de tout à pied. Vous devez avoir un véhicule .Cependant la vue et l’intérieur des murs en valent le déplacement ! C’est magnifique . La chambre était superbe, le seul bémol est qu’il fallait sortir la nuit dans un corridor pour la toilette. Il y a deux beaux grands salons, foyer, bibliothèque, cuisine avec frigo partagé. Une cour intérieure joliement décorée . Je n’ai pas aimé mon arrivé , seulement après 15:00 prcq la réception est fermée et qu’il n’y a personne. On voulait profiter de la vue et la piscine(pas possible). Le lendemain à 10am on devait déjà être partis on nous l’a repeté 3 fois, c’était comprit la 1 ere fois ! C’est tôt , pour avoir le temps de prendre une douche et déjeuner . Cela nous a beaucoup déplu ! Le piscine bien qu’elle soit ecolo est plus comme un étang où nager avec les grenouille peut être possible. Faites attention après 18:30 si vous avez un problème ,plus personne ne répond ! (Serviettes en location à 5 euro. )

I could not recommend Il Segreto more. We had a perfect stay—the room, the view, the food. Every detail is perfection and so thoughtful. The hospitality is incredible. The breakfast and dinner were the best of our entire trip. I’m so grateful I found this gem. Don’t hesitate and stay here. We will we back!!

Our stay was absolutely lovely—I only wish we could’ve stayed longer! The area was so peaceful and charming, a perfect escape. Antonella went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was kind enough to drive us into the village for lunch one afternoon since we didn’t have a car, which we really appreciated. The hospitality from her and the other ladies made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and experience authentic Tuscan warmth!

Every detail, from the stunning landscape to the charming accommodations, was perfect. Giulia, Taisia, and the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding flawless. They handled everything! From transportation to and from the train station, to wedding décor and preparing the most delicious meals! No request was too big or too small. Their hospitality extended beyond the wedding, ensuring all our guests were comfortable and happy throughout the stay. Il Grande Prato is more than just a venue – it’s a place where dreams come true, thanks to the incredible people there. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting. Olimpia and her son Stefano were fantastic hosts — warm, attentive, and helpful with every detail of our stay. The location is exceptional, set in a historical villa that feels like a small private museum. The homemade breakfast, with fresh pancakes and croissants, was a lovely and thoughtful touch. That said, the house is delicate and full of history — it’s not for everyone, especially if you’re looking for something ultra-modern or hands-off. But if you enjoy places with soul, this is a gem. Questo B&B é ideale per chi voglia conoscere la Toscana e voglia viverla al meglio: Daniela e Giampaolo, gli host, sono persone squisite e gentili che ci hanno accolto in un alloggio bellissimo in questa casa storica e preparato una ricca colazione con pietanze tipiche locali, sia dolci che salate composte da formaggi e salumi tipici della tradizione dei dintorni e torte preparate in casa e con marmellate freschissime. Oltre ad ospitarci, ci hanno consigliato tantissimi luoghi da visitare nei dintorni ricchi di storia e di bellezze locali, sia vicine come Loro Ciuffenna che distanti come Arezzo e oltre, con i vari musei, architetture e passeggiate che ci hanno fatto vivere un pezzo di Toscana al meglio. Per noi questo punto é stato importantissimo, sono stati consigli che difficilmente si trovano altrove e la passione con cui Daniela ne parlava ci ha convinto ancora di più a fare queste avventure culturali. Vivamente consigliato a chi voglia una vacanza chill in un'ambiente sereno.

Il soggiorno da Karen e Marco è stato fantastico! Un'oasi di pace immersa nel verde. La casa e il giardino sono bellissimi, curati in ogni dettaglio. I proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa! La camera è accogliente, adatta ad una coppia con un bambino piccolo. Speriamo di tornare in estate per poter sfruttare la bellissima piscina!

Traveling alone, I found myself less confident and reclusive in my first 2 weeks in Italy. Upon reading reviews, I had a feeling Suzi would snap me out of it. And she DID!! She was so welcoming, made me a delicious dinner the first night, and made me a part of her family for the week. I was even invited to her milestone birthday party with all her lovely friends, and then another joint birthday family dinner at home. She gave me a bunch of awesome recommendations, always asked if I needed anything, and calmed me down when I called her in despair, being lost in a field somewhere, lol! The room was huge and cozy, the shower sooo nice! (I was in the room off the kitchen) Suzi is very intelligent and we had some interesting conversations. Her two dogs Tyra and Gigi stole my heart immediately. I will be back, maybe as a work away! I will never forget your kindness and the remarkable woman you are <3

Ottima esperienza Luca e sua madre due persone molto disponibili e alla mano. Soggiorno perfetto e cucina ottima da ritornarci appena possibile.

Cara Maria, Grazie mille! We had a wonderful time. Maria is so very kind and her Tuscan home is a dream. If you’re looking for a place to wind down and relax - this is it. It’s also very well situated. Just a few kilometres from Castiglion Fiorentino (excellent food) and Cortona (stunning views). We also took the train from Castiglion Fiorentino to Firenze and spent a whole day there. You do need a car though. Generally just a really good vacation that we can absolutely recommend. Leaving made us really sad. We look very much forward to visiting again.

Gaia and Nicolo were so kind and gave us a very warm welcome. We really enjoyed their delicious dinner and relaxing in their beautiful quiet garden with a stunning view over the Tuscany landscape. The room and bathroom were impeccable. We definitely recommend to stay there!

Esperienza ottima. La stanza veramente graziosa, fornita di tutto il necessario e soprattutto... pulitissima. Rosy è stata un host eccezionale e ha fornito indicazioni precise sulle regole della casa e sulla sua posizione. La struttura è appena fuori dal centro storico di Arezzo ed in posizione strategica per visitare Firenze e Siena. super consigliata.
