Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Monthou-sur-Cher

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

We had a 3-day weekend ( 6 adults and 3 children). Everything was perfect, the welcome upon arrival , the very clean accommodation, comfortable bedding, space . Nothing is missing. Very well located for visiting Beauval Zoo and Chenonceau Castle. I highly recommend this listing !

It was a great stay in Le petite maison. Beautiful nature, beautiful swimming pool and a huge garden. Really enjoy; here you can completely relax.

We had a wonderful stay with our two children. You can enjoy a large garden with delicious cherries and the place is ideal for discovering the Loire Valley (Zoo, hiking with a donkey, Loire castles, Blois, Amboise, etc.) In addition, the house was super tidy, clean and there was everything you need. We absolutely recommend it.

We had a very good stay at the Oiseaux du Paradis. The house lived up to our expectations, very clean and welcoming. Impeccable bedding! Its location close to the zoo in a few minutes is a real plus. Tania is a responsive host and very attentive to her guests. No complaints! We recommend it without hesitation :) Thanks!

Just a brief stop for us en route to the Uk. I’d highly recommend staying here. The cottage is beautifully presented and the little extras have all been thought about such as coffee / tea / kitchen roll / hand soap / loo roll etc etc. The hosts clearly care and the place is stylish and comfortable. We had a wonderful week in Jocelyne's well-kept cottage! A lovely garden with various seating areas and beautiful views of the Loire. In June, the roses are in full bloom. The cottage is well equipped, and has a French cozy atmosphere. The bedroom is spacious and has a good bed. Communication with Jocelyne was friendly and quick. The area offers many opportunities for beautiful bike rides (e.g. Chambord castle) or walks along the Loire. In short, a nice B&B!

Very well located accommodation for visiting the castles of the Loire, very clean, very quiet, corresponding to the description. Since everything was perfect, we only exchanged very kind messages with Benedicte. She responds almost immediately. Jean Philippe was wonderful. He met us and showed us the apartment and explained how to use all the items. The apartment is very quiet and is in a beautiful courtyard. The coffee machine gave us the best coffee so far on our trip. I really appreciate that Jean Philippe supplied us with lots of coffee. These little details make a huge difference. We loved the location. The bed and the bath were very nice, we really enjoyed our stay.

Philippe responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, gave clear instructions and his place was easy to find. The private parking and laundry facilities were much appreciated and the garden setting was lovely. He and his wife were usually around to make sure everything was working for us and he made a reservation for us at a recommended local restaurant, which was a great experience. It was very hot while we were there for the walk into town across the bridge, but there is a local bus, with the stop right near the apartment. We stayed for a week and found Amboise to be a good base for visiting this part of the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend Philippe's place and would stay there again ourselves if we were ever back in the area.

Very nice apartment ideally located for those who like the old quarter of Tours and all its shops, bars and restaurants. Difficult access by car (pedestrian access) and complicated parking because of the historic center of Tours, but I think this accommodation also offers a parking space which is ideal. In short, a very nice location and impeccable, atypical and very pleasant accommodation

You can't find a better service that perfectly matches the description on the site. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or proposal for improvement are very commendable. But as it is specified in many opinions published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already at the top. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the general situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their place.

Dominique was very welcoming and helped carry our bags up to the apartment. The apartment was nicely decorated and beds comfortable. The location was convenient for access to the old town and free parking nearby. We think our baby woke up the next door neighbour in the middle of the night, which we are sorry about 🫣 but we would stay again if Dominique would have us!

Bertrand is a very nice, welcoming and accessible host. The studio is great for 2 people, the setting is beautiful. We will come again

Very good welcome from Allison and Thomas, we immediately felt comfortable! Special mention for the pool, our 2 year old daughter had a lot of fun (daddy too of course!) We would highly recommend.

Very well equipped and very clean accommodation. True to the description on the internet. Self check-in appreciated. Only negative point: the bedroom window equipped with a very small curtain that opens into the hallway.
