This is a beautiful let to stay at, The pool is magnificent and the house is top class. Loads of hidden features all around and a ginormous TV! Great hosts & Lovely plot & local area. Highly recommend Bears Paw for food just 5 mins away. Thank you, We would love to come back

Coedfa Hall and the small adjoining house exceeded expectations - it is the most beautiful old house, full of character and charm with more than a dollop of old-world glamour and grandure....everything felt so special and yet we felt right at home. Our host had clearly thought so carefully about meeting guests' needs, with everything you need for a big family get together - well-equipped kitchen, amazing dining room, roaring fires, comfy sofas and a beautiful garden with multiple scenic sitting spots. Such a fantastic place, and amazing walks direct from the house! We will be back for another multi-generational gathering very soon!

We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

Beautiful house in a lovely setting. As you'd expect, not a lot of entertainment immediately locally outside of the house other than walks (be warned footpaths are not maintained and impassible in places) but you don't book a place like this if you want hustle and bustle. Pool, hot tub and fire pit all great. Games room is in a separate building to the main house and so wasn't used as much as perhaps otherwise could have. Hosts are great and very welcoming, but they do live right next door which might not be everyone's cup of tea. It wasn't a big issue for us and we were left to our own devices. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Hosts very accommodating if required and good communication 👍

We had an amazing stay, caravan was spotless and Thomas and Emma were very helpful and responsive even tho our stay was a last minute booking. We will definitely be back soon.

Our group enjoyed a brilliant two night stay at Tall Trees. Everyone expressed what an exceptional weekend it was! The home is beautifully kept, in a lovely private location, with everything available to us at the home, no need to leave the house if you didn’t want to for a couple of days. Use of the hot tub and outdoor heated pool was a perfect touch to our stay. The home was well equipped with everything you would need. Michael and his mother Susan, have both been excellent hosts, very responsive to our needs and questions and very accommodating. There were some minor issues out of their control during the weekend but again Susan was extremely accommodating and more than happy to address this immediately so as to not impact our stay. Overall a wonderful weekend and stay at Tall Trees, we hope we have the opportunity to return again in future.

Had a lovely stay at Bryony’s cottage. Location was great and very peaceful, the only noises we could hear were the sheep next door! Bryony was lovely and very communicative, making our check in super easy as she had explained everything to us beforehand ☺️ thanks for having us!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome — such a lovely person and so helpful throughout our visit. The cottage itself was amazing — beautifully kept, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home. The setting was peaceful, and it was the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Highly recommended!

Lovely spot for a night in a wondeful village and a helpful host!

This was our second stay at View Cottage and we will certainly be back. The cottage is comfortable and in a beautiful peaceful location., with glorious views. We had everything we needed. Geraint is so welcoming and always helpful and responsive. We didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful place. We had visited Carrog a few times and always wanted to stay there. We weren't disappointed. The cottage was beautiful and John left treats which were a great bonus. We didn't need for anything. It was lovely sitting on the deck but also taking a dip in the river, although we do wish we had water shoes as the stones and rocks were very slippery. Easy walking distance of the pub, river and cool little train station. Thanks again John.

We cannot recommend Tan Y Garth enough. Staying there was an adventure in itself: atmospheric, clean and set in spectacular surroundings. The best thing about Tan Y Garth were our hosts. There was a fierce storm during our stay resulting in a power outage covering the whole of Wales. Janet and Derek worked tirelessly to make sure we were warm, able to cook, able to see! We ate supper by candlelight and some electric light, round a roaring fire, took hot baths by candlelight and Derek even restored Wi-Fi and made sure we could listen to music! It was a truly memorable weekend and we will definitely be back to enjoy Tan y Garth in more clement conditions!

Stayed for a couple of nights and couldn't fault the place everything you need is there. It was so clean and very organised. Richard was a brilliant host brilliant communication couldnt have asked for a better place to stay hopefully will be staying again. Garden was brilliant for the dog she loved it.

Great place, very peaceful and quiet. Spacious and well equipped. Access of the main road is via a relatively narrow lane, which I found to reasonably free of traffic which is good as passing places are minimal. Would definitely recommend and am sure I will be back.

We had the pleasure of staying at Treetops for 1 night as we were house hunting in the area. The interior was beyond our expectation, in attention to detail, quality of finish and the size of the space. It's like a Tardis and more than enough space for the two of us. We found the internet provided was more than okay for our streaming needs and it was a very cozy and enjoyable experience. Sorrel was a great host, was very responsive to our messages and was there if we needed her, however at the same time it was a very private space and VERY peaceful. If you like good scenery and the sounds of nature then this is the place!

We had a lovely stay here, Tania and Jonathan (and Mya the dog!) were lovely and helpful. Home was just as described, if not better! Would definitely recommend as an escape from a busy town! The turn onto the lane was a bit tricky to navigate and the wifi wasn’t great but the rest absolutely made up for it. A gorgeous few days! ☺️

It is easy to provide a five star rating if everything is just perfect. Nice and clean and private. The house is on the countryside, but close to Shrewsbury. So we enjoyed being in town as well as having a meal in one of the local pubs. With a car it is easy to visit Birmingham or Chester as well as mid- and north Wales. Thanks for the stay.

i had a really nice stay with Helen at the annexe, really clean and tidy with good transport links to all the local POA, the space is self is basic but more than comfortable, and really clean and tidy, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in area

The location is stunning, nestled in peaceful countryside with breathtaking views, yet just a short drive from local towns, scenic walking routes, and the coast. We especially loved the peaceful tranquil of the surrounding areas. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, providing helpful local tips and even leaving a few special touches for our arrival that made us feel so appreciated. We had the most wonderful weeklong stay at the School House. The home is exactly as described on the listing. Very clean, well appointed kitchen and a great location to walk into town via the river path. Communication was great with the managers of the property. We saw the owners, who live in the front house, quite a bit during the week, both were extremely friendly and warm. Would absolutely recommend the School House to anyone visiting Shrewsbury.
