This was a great place to stay, especially if you are exploring the Blackwater State Park area. Couldn’t be more convenient! We were so pleasantly surprised by the shops and restaurants in the area. The food and the service from the locals cultivated a super friendly environment. The owner was very responsive over messaging the few times we reached out. Couple cons: I will say the listing was a little overpriced for what you get, though the inflated price could have been because of the holiday weekend. The upstairs bedroom would get pretty warm and there were instructions that you could not adjust the thermostat. I can understand the owner not wanting us to mess with the room temperature, the weather dropped from 51 to 11 degrees in a matter of 24 hours while we were there! But if you are a hot sleeper and being able to adjust the thermostat is important to you, it may be something worth considering! Overall I would recommend this listing!

Kara’s loft is very modern and functional. It’s both spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our two families of 7 enjoyed our two-night stay. Visited the famous Fallingwater, and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen for warm family gatherings. Thank you, Kara, for the opportunity to stay in this unique unit.

Mark was a great host! It was a last minute stay and he was very responsive. We had a toddler that made some noise and he was very understanding and friendly as we arrived late and made some noise. Will definitely stay again.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights. Check in was easy and straightforward and the place was just like described. Great place to stay if you are looking to hike at Blackwater Falls state park like we did!

We absolutely loved staying at this cute little place looking over the river. The place was very clean and the bed super comfy. The town is sleepy but is surrounded by so much nature and outdoor activities. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.

This is a very nice unit in a perfect location. It felt much larger than we expected based on the listing -- it is large for a 2 bedroom place. The front living room/sitting room area was very spacious and has super comfy chairs and couches. Lots of windows and light as well. Kitchen is modern and clean and has all the basics for simple cooking. Location is perfect for seeing Thomas without getting in the car -- coffee shop right downstairs. Lots of hiking options nearby. We will rent it again if we come back to Thomas. Debbie is a great host. Our car battery was dead when we were ready to depart, but she had someone helping us get it started within minutes. Above and beyond helpful.

Carol was very accommodating. Upon arrival a storm had just went through and the facility lost power. Carol apologized and communicated well. She even offered a full refund. Set a bucket water outside of the door in case we needed it for the bathroom. Power was restored quickly. Room was small, but accurately described. Cute and clean. Even came with towels and wash cloths and bed sheets. Ample pillows. Shampoo etc. provided. Bed was comfortable. 10/10 recommend and would stay here again!

Shari’s place is a wonderful place to stay. We have stayed at numerous Airbnbs and this by far is one of the best! Shari’s place is very clean and you can tell upon arrival that a lot of thought has went into making it a great place to stay. Very cozy feeling. Located a half hour from Blackwater Falls and Deep Creek Lake area. About a hour from Seneca Rocks. We would highly recommend staying here!

This apartment was perfect for out needs. We were only in the apartment at night so didn't need much in the way of "extras". As a past guest wrote - the furnishings are sparse, but had what we needed. My friends were happy with the coffee pods. Would stay here again if I was ever in Morgantown.

We were able to attend GeoWoodstock XXI for the weekend. This place was just what we needed - quiet place to come back and sleep. Bed was comfortable enough. Love the shower stall! Appreciated the notes with microwave instructions for breakfast goodies. Lots of options if you like tea or coffee, too. Host even set up a couple of space heaters since the temperatures had dipped, before we even arrived, which was after dark. We did miss the driveway entrance at first and forgot that the apartment was at the bottom. But instruction from host set us on the right path and no problems checking in or out. It was nice that there was the flat paved area (small parking area for business) to make it easier to turn around. Would definitely consider staying here again if in the area.

Second time staying and just a great location for visiting Morgantown. You have the feeling of living outside of town, but can quickly get to anywhere in Morgantown. I stayed with my adult son last time and male adult cousin this time. The layout really gives the feel of having separate bedrooms and personal space or privacy. Communication is great, Buddy is very helpful and quickly responsive for any questions you might have.

Everything was great. Anytime I had a question, I gotta response right away. It was close to the hospital, which made me feel safe, very close to the football field, If I wanted to go to a game. We were there for a geocaching event. With over 5000 people from around the world. We pretty much only use the location to rest and bathe, but it was nice to have our own space away from everyone. sometimes things are just too peopley. on the outside, it had inn vibes. But on the inside, it was beautiful. I didn't get checkout instructions so I feel bad because I left a dish in the sink. And some garbage in the bathroom can.

We really enjoyed our stay at Douglas's place. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful. The space is super clean and modern. It was perfect for myself, my husband, and our infant daughter. We would return without hesitation!

Barbara greeted us upon arrival and once we entered the home there were homemade muffins waiting for us. She also had milk for our morning coffee. The place was cozy, nicely decorated, and the bathroom was separated tub and toilet/sink. That was very nice traveling with 4 adults. We all felt very comfortable there. I normally do not like staying in a suite in someone's home but this place was beyond wonderful. If I ever come back to this area I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

What a perfect place for an Ohiopyle weekend! We enjoyed the property and the area was beautiful! Rainy weekend that in between the storms we hiked and strolled the town! The train during the night was a welcomed reminder that we were connected to the outside world! Beds were comfy! We will be back!

It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

An absolutely beautiful location! I was able to watch the leaves change in fall while soaking in the deck hot tub. The studio apartment was perfect as my home away from home while on a travel nursing assignment. I had everything I needed. I was able to bring my roku and watch my TV shows while relaxing in the recliner chair. The shower is very roomy. I love that a washer and dryer was included. The only thing I wish it had was a toaster oven…but that is a luxury not a need. The stove, toaster, and microwave were perfect for my month stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to “get away” or working in nearby by Oakland, MD. The host is wonderful and very responsive.

We came to Ohiopyle to raft and this was the perfect place to stay! Right in town close to restaurants, close to the GAP trail if you want to run or bike, and close to the rafting company storefronts. It’s walking distance to everything you need, clean, and Andrea is super communicative. Can’t recommend enough!

We booked this place last minute for a snowboarding getaway for a rare Maryland powder day! This place is central, located less than 5 minutes from the ski resort and restauraunts in the area. The hot tub after a day on the slopes was a hit. Cozy, had everything we needed. We were plowed out and the walkway was shoveled for us. Low maintenance for visitors! We would definitely book again!
