Cottage holiday rentals in Multnomah County

It is very peaceful and beautiful. The hot tub on the deck adds a feeling of luxury. The internal stairs are quite narrow but manageable (we went up and down these all the time), and if you are not limber you should take the external stairs that are nice and wide. VERY comfortable bed. Overall highly recommend and will likely come back

The location of Eva's Cottage was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We were spending our anniversary doing multiple day hikes out of the Gorge. This little cottage nestled in the woods provided us the peace and serenity we were looking for as well as providing a local home base to return to each day. The cottage was off the beaten path so it was private. It was in the view of their lodge but didn't interfere with our privacy at all. We had a momma deer with her twin babies lingering near the cottage for us to admire and we enjoyed just sitting and watching the river.

Sally is a great person, very cultured, the room is very comfortable and well located, I really recommend it!

Incredible hidden cottage nestled in a woodsy spot. The hosts were very sweet. Alpacas were the stars of the stay. Clean, quiet and well equipped. Short drive to town, great restaurants and doughnut shops!!

The place is excellent, featuring a well-equipped kitchen perfect for a short-term stay. Remember to keep the heater on. While the bathroom is compact, it's manageable. Be sure to have extra quarters for laundry. Parking is readily available, and there's a trail within walking distance, ideal for jogging. Note that there are no restaurants nearby, so having a car is essential, although a bus station is also nearby for trips downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. It was clean and cozy, and the beds were so comfortable. The fresh eggs from their chickens were such a nice touch and made for a great breakfast. The surroundings are so peaceful - the landscaping is gorgeous and being able to watch that amazing sunset over the water from the back deck was such a treat. We also loved the pickleball court and played several times while we were there.

Elie's cottage is beautifully furnished and includes everything you need for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Thoughtful touches await, such as welcoming chocolates, coffee pods, bottled water and a much-appreciated ice-cold bottle of beer! The mattress is exceptionally comfortable and the bedding and towels are sumptuous. Elie's gorgeous garden is right outside your window, and is only steps away from convenient on-street parking. In addition to an informative notebook, our host provided signage with instructions for the door lock, coffee maker, air conditioner, and other appliances. The shops and restaurants of Multnomah Village are within walking distance, and the cottage is a short drive from downtown and Portland's many attractions. We greatly appreciated Elie's hospitality and hope to stay at his cottage during our next visit to the Rose City.

I rented this beautiful cottage for my daughter’s 40th birthday, for her to have a place for a personal retreat. (So, as she was the guest who stayed there, I will post her comments below mine.) For my part, I can say that it was a perfect gift of time & space which delighted the recipient! Also, that all of my own communication with the hosts, was very efficient. It felt like a little European getaway but in Portland, OR. The cottage is bigger than it looks in photos, and I especially loved the gorgeous kitchen. I appreciated all the attention to details, including the cute pink kitchen appliances and even a pink vacuum cleaner! Ron, the host I met, was friendly & provided helpful suggestions for local activities.”

The space inside and out was charming and very peaceful. I felt safe and appreciated the privacy of the location. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and lush with flowers and foliage. I would love to come and stay at this location again. The host was very gracious and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Jodi's Airbnb was one of the most well-appointed, comfortable and lovely places we have stayed!! It was beautiful and appeared to be a brand-new build. It was spacious and had all the appliances and cookware one would need. The bedroom and bathrooms were large and very comfortable as well. This place is genuinely so thoughtfully put together. We absolutely loved the garden and hammock. Neighborhood recs made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for your next trip to Portland!

Great place to stay. Close to everything but feels remote. Surrounded by woods, a creek, and deer passing by in the mornings.

Becky‘s place is exceptionally comfortable and tastefully organized. The kitchen had everything needed and the TV and sound system were excellent and easy to use. Loved the bathrooms especially the one in the master bedroom downstairs with the Japanese spa inspired set up. The neighborhood was quiet and the Fresh Market grocery store was a quick couple of blocks away. Although the place isn’t large, it felt very spacious because of the high ceilings, windows, and the very sensible layout of things. The art and overall decor was uplifting and not at all cluttered. Was in Portland to visit family and we all enjoyed spending time in the space.I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb‘s and this place ranks high on the list.
