This former garage has recently been completely turned into a comfortable and cozy studio. You can enjoy cycling and walking nearby, and the Frisian lake area is a 20 minute drive away from here. Furthermore, the center of Heerenveen offers numerous cozy terraces and bars.

Here in quiet Frisian Rohel you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and hiking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace on the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you don't hear anything at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

Apartment Grutto is located on the 1st floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and fully equipped. Parking is plentiful. Furthermore, we are easily accessible with public transport (5-minute walk). There is also a sandy beach on Lake Tjeukemeer, a 5-minute walk away.
