An atmospheric courtyard with a resting mind and body. The building has been completely renovated between 2017 and 2019. On the covered terrace there is a cosy living area and a hot tub, the use of which is included in the accommodation price. The cottage has a traditional Finnish atmosphere, to which a touch of oriental breeze has been added. From the gentle steam of the wooden sauna it is nice to go to the terrace to cool off and enjoy the sheltered and peaceful yard atmosphere. The cottage has heating and air conditioning which increases the comfort during summer heat.

Peaceful cottage in the middle of nature near Porvoo and the archipelago, on the edge of the forest, 15 km from Porvoo and 30 km from Loviisa. Perfect for two, but can accommodate four (2 sofa beds) if needed. Private yard, two terraces, wood-burning sauna, barbecue area and fully equipped kitchen. Bicycles can be borrowed and the beach is 2.5 km away. An excellent choice for a holiday or business trip. Note! The nearest shop or restaurant is not just around the corner, so bring your own snacks and delicacies – here you can enjoy in peace.

The lake does not have a common swimming beach so it is very peaceful.

A nice little cottage on the shore of the watery Kalkkistenkoski. Peace is guaranteed and nature and its landscape are unmatched. Sauna, swim, plunge into the grave or take a canoe trip. Or just rest on the hammock. You can swim from the pier or directly from the beach. The beach is quite deep, so it is not suitable for very small children. Lots of warmth next to the sauna terrace. Bedding and towels are ready at the cottage.

Everything went well with the host. Good instructions for arrival and parking. Free parking nearby is really good. Arriving late at night was easy, as access with codes was easy. The location of the apartment is great, close to the riverbank and easily accessible when arriving in the city. Grocery stores and all the most important services and attractions in Porvoo are within walking distance. The apartment was really neat and included everything you needed. In addition, there was a small snack and coffee, which was also a plus. I recommend and will stay again if needed. Thanks Peter!

I loved the place! Beautiful scenery for idyllic seductive people. Peaceful and private setting! Rowing on the lake was comfortably done on a boat in use. The separate sleeping area was really good and the bed bigger than normal was a big plus. The sleeping area was crowned by an air source heat pump that was well adjusted to a quiet sleeping setting. We slept really well in the listing! The sauna was really neat and atmospheric. The carrying water brought real cottage vibes. The cooking was a great success in a diverse summer kitchen. The home has a large deck and a large covered area where it was nice to hang out, both in the rain and the shine. Our dog was also very comfortable at the property. Communicating with Marko and Marjo was really easy and natural! Messages were always responded to, and everything went so smoothly. We highly recommend this place!

This was already the fourth time in the same place, and certainly not the last: the child's absolute favorite place, as well as mine. 😊 This accommodation is so unique and functional that I can warmly recommend it to both families with children and adults. Perhaps the best thing of all is that you can spend the whole day with the animals (chickens and sheep), feeding and stroking them. The animals are really well taken care of - it makes you feel really good!
