Beach house holiday rentals in Nantucket

All I can really say is… wow!! From the moment we arrived, Liza was incredibly communicative, accommodating, and welcoming. And upon arrival, we recognized how truly special her home is; with so much character and charm! It’s very private and felt incredibly safe. The home seems nestled into Martha's Vineyard itself and the back led out to a private green space, dock, and beach with blooming bushes next to the path. This was such a rare find. It was so magical, we spent an afternoon painting watercolors of the view of the boats on the water that you can see from the living room. With six girls staying for a bachelorette weekend, we had an abundance of room. It is more spacious than the photos capture. Situated in a prime location near Edgartown. And every piece of decor, plate, bowl, cup felt vintage, special, unique. This place has authentic charm. Bottom line: Our stay was incredible. We all can’t wait to come back again!

If you’re visiting Nantucket staying at Connor’s is a must do. Very charming and super close to the beach. Quite neighborhood which is a great escape from how busy downtown can be. Nothing beats listening to the waves as you fall asleep instead of a sound machine.

Absolutely beautiful cottage and location! We had an amazing weekend and the house was immaculate. Vito and Kerry were super responsive and helpful throughout the trip. I would highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay on Chappy!

Very cute and cozy cottage. Decorated in a true Nantucket nautical theme. The home had everything that we needed to make for a pleasant stay. We were able to walk to town very easily and to Children’s Beach and Brant Point also. Hope to rent again someday!

Lee is an outstanding host, very responsive and went above and beyond. There is a Wave shuttle bus stop a very short walk from the house which enables you to get around the island easily. The house was lovely and quite comfortable with great air conditioning. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a lot of spices and plenty of delicious coffee. Nice beach equipment available and outdoor dining table on a shaded porch made all of our meals al fresco. We had a remarkable stay and would not hesitate to return.

My friends and I had an amazing stay here. And from the start, Eloise was welcoming, informative and clear with her communication. We felt right at ease. The location is fantastic, a brief stroll to all the shops and water front, the lighthouse, but it was also remarkably quiet - felt like we could really relax on the patio and enjoy our privacy, the stillness and beautiful sounds of the birds. A Beautiful home, gorgeous getaway - so grateful to have come across this gem. Highly recommend!

I’ve stayed at quite a few Airbnb‘s and this was hands-down my favorite. The house is right on the beach. You have front row seats to Nantucket’s famous sunsets and are close to Millie’s restaurant. Location can’t be beat. Everything in the house was clean and brand new. Craig was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the island. We strongly recommend this house to future guests.

We had a wonderful stay out in Madaket. Quiet, serene and amazing proximity to the beach! Abigail was flexible and accommodating with us, we had a larger group staying + everyone was comfortable. House is spacious enough while giving old nantucket vibes too! We cooked a few meals at the house and found the house to be well supplied with propane, utensils, plates and glasses. We slept 10 people at the house comfortably, only one of the bedrooms from photos didn’t match up, switched from 2 twins to a full but it actually worked better for us! The real winner of the weekend was the ocean breeze accompanied by the views, hard to beat!!! Super pleased with Abigail’s responsiveness, accommodations + suggestions and overall friendliness! Look forward to staying at “The Captains Quarters” again! 10/10

We had a wonderful stay at DJV Rentals. It was very quiet, pleasant, and spacious. All rooms had TV's, the house had all the luxuries of home. We would love to stay here again, especially in summer when the pool would be open!!!!

My brother & my family, total of 8 stayed at Alex place to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. It was a beautiful home, very cozy, plenty of rooms for all of us. Nice swimming pool and grill setup. Very peaceful location. Alex is prompt in answering our questions. We all had a great time and good memories to cherish for a long time. Though weather was raining and cold, and couldn’t do much outdoors, we were glad we stayed here as the house perfectly felt at home. Thank you Alex for hosting us!

We loved our stay at Alesia's place. Peaceful surroundings but relatively close to town. The pool and hot tub were great. It is right off Milestone road so it as very convenient to ride bikes to and from the home (as long as you don't mind riding over a long bumpy unpaved road). Alesia is very responsive and helpful.

We had a great time staying here. The house was exactly what we were looking for with a spacious kitchen, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was very clean and organized. The backyard was private and peaceful with a nice patio and big table, grill and white string lights for at night. The host was very responsive, answering several questions that I had. I would definitely stay here again!

Stuart's place is situated in a quiet, beautifully landscaped spot overlooking an open space with a path that is a 5 minute walk to the beach. The room was very comfortable and the outdoor shower was a plus. The bathroom is large and everything is new. I would definitely stay here again!

This is our second time staying here and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Conveniently located on the island but our favorite part is the tranquil, peaceful setting. The property abuts a wooded park which is perfect for walking and bird watching. We love the relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back again! Diana and Frank

We really enjoyed our time at this home. The kids loved the finished basement and we had plenty of common space for two families or 4 and 5. Carrington was responsive to our needs and communicated well. The house was located close to Oak Bluffs and I enjoyed easy access to beautiful running routes by the ocean.

Beautiful, large home! It was perfect for a family get-together. Very nice location and well-stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed having use of the bicycles in the shed and rode the bike trail near the house. The kids loved playing ping pong and foosball in the wonderful basement. The basement/game room, in particular, was a great place for my brother's toddler, who made good use of the huge variety of toys down there. We had a great time in this lovely house, thank you!

We are a group of fishing buddies that have been coming to Chappy for many years and rented lots of places and Elaine’s home is far and away the best. From the awesome outside shower, beautiful bedrooms, high end kitchen and appliances everything one could want has been thought of.

This house was amazing! Beautiful and very clean! Megan had timely responses to messages and was clear in her instructions regarding the check in process. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor shower was maybe our favorite part of the trip, all the ladies enjoyed being outside and also the coolness of the inside of the house. There was tons of room. The overall aesthetic of the house was a calm, beachy vibe and made you feel like you were right beside the water. I wish we had played horseshoes in the back yard! If we need a place to stay in the future for a group trip with the ladies I would try to book here if it was available!

Our family of five loved Gary's place. Great location. Easy to walk to Oak Bluffs and very centrally located on the island. Convenient to the ferry. We appreciated all of the extra towels both beach and bathroom. Gary was very responsive and provided clear instructions. Would stay here again when we come back to the island.

Rebecca and Katama Hideaway is the place you want to stay! The house was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend. There is plenty of space, bathrooms, and lounging areas. I would 100% rebook here! Rebecca was a great host who provided clear and timely communication with every interaction.

Staying at Heather’s place was the right decision for our Martha’s Vineyard trip. She was incredibly communicative and accommodating as well as super helpful with any questions we had. It was such a delight to be able to sit outside at the house in peace as well as walk into town and explore. The perfect balance!
