Vickleby is located in the World Heritage Site of Southern Öland's Agricultural Landscape, on the edge of Stora Alvaret, with its unique flora and two km away from the sea with swimming or windsurfing at Haga Park, or bird watching at Beijershamn. Five minutes walk to Capellagården.

Rural and old-fashioned decorated cottage, by the coast on a private meadow. The house has a simple kitchen, outhouse, and water pump up the well on the farm (tested and approved water quality). Your only neighbors are the cows grazing around the house and a few sheep. The house has 12v electricity so you can charge digital equipment but not run, for example, a hair dryer or microwave.

Exceptional cottage next to the alvar

Right next to the alvar in the small row village is this former exemption cabin next to our house on the farm. We also run the yarn shop ”Knick alvar”. In spring, the orchids bloom rich here. Several interesting historical places are within hiking distance such as Dröstorp's desert village. We chickens, five cats and two dogs. The house is from 1899 but has all modernities. BBQ area outside. Here, it is quiet and peaceful. Note: Sheets and towels are not included! Cleaning is not included!
