Welcome to the Nuthatch, a cozy cabin in the woods outside Fairbanks. This dog-friendly little cabin is just 7 miles from town but surrounded by the boreal forest. This is glamping at its best, a solid roof, warm place, bed, WiFi, and tv. This is a “dry” cabin, with an outhouse but no running water (no shower. Look out for wildlife and northern lights or roast a s’more over the campfire. If you have more guests, there is an additional cabin on the property "Come Visit the Warbler", holds four.

You are in a quiet, peaceful place with over 40 acres of trees and wildlife around. The home is on Murphy Dome which is the best point to see the lights and you can easily see the lights from the comfort of this comfy vacation home. Hunting, fishing, hiking...all walking distance! My car is available for rent as well if you need transport.

It's bordered by state land and the northern section of Denali Park. The first floor has kitchen, bathroom & living space. The upstairs is bedrooms only.

This cozy get away is just 20 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the famous Pumphouse Restaurant. A great place to call home while visiting Alaska!

The peace, quiet and fresh air will envelop you with tranquility but invite you to explore what’s just outside the door. Have morning coffee on the deck to leisurely start your day then sit around the fire at night while you relive the days adventures. About 2000 square feet with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Maximum occupancy in winter is 5 people if one person is willing to sleep on the very comfortable couch. Aurora viewable from within house if weather and aurora activity cooperate.
