At the back, with a width of around 12 meters, the building is not located on the Ahr, but on the Ahr spring that springs below the basement. At night it is absolutely quiet, with the windows open you can quietly hear the rippling of the Ahrquelle.

The Volcanic Eifel offers many different ways to discover the area.

The individual guest house is located at the end of the 6-hectare property. A former stable is now a carefully and lovingly redesigned retreat for 4 people. On the first floor is the kitchen with dining area and fireplace, a bedroom and a large bathroom with freestanding bathtub. The 2nd floor consists of a loft-like studio with a large window front, in which there is another double bed.

The red house is located in the idyllic Veytal between Mechernich and Satzvey, directly on the eponymous Veybach. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich.
