We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

In unserer ruhigen und familienfreundlichen Ferienwohnung "Am Tälchen" können Sie mit max. 4 Pers. einen entspannten Urlaub verbringen. Sie liegt nahe am Waldrand und ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Radtouren in die "Kroppacher Schweiz". Drei Spielplätze sind in der Nähe und es gibt viel zu entdecken, z. B. Hachenburg mit der historischen Altstadt (4 km), die Abtei Marienstatt mit Klostergarten & Brauhaus, die Westerwälder Seenplatte, Bad Marienberg mit Kletter- u. Tierpark.

The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. A place to relax and enjoy.

Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

The property is idyllically located on the outskirts of Rotenhain overlooking forest and meadows in the middle between Hachenburg, Westerburg and Bad Marienberg. The apartment is on the ground floor. I live with my partner on the upper floor. The beautiful garden with terrace can be shared and is great for relaxing, barbecuing or playing for children.
