Hi Jodi and Adam, We had a wonderful stay at your charming lake house. The location was incredibly peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house itself was well-appointed; with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed mornings by the lake, soaking in the serene atmosphere. One highlight of our trip was exploring the nearby historical site in Grass Valley, specifically Empire Mine State Park. It offered a fascinating glimpse into the area's rich history, and we loved learning about the Gold Rush era. This property is a literal slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and magical and feels worlds away when only being a few minutes to town. The house was one of the most comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in – and we have stayed in many! Our whole family enjoyed it. Great for adults, kids and lots of room for your dog run and explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Had the most amazing stay with my pups to get away from the city. They got to run around and be free while we enjoyed the hot tub. The aesthetics of the place were 10/10. Used the wood burning stove religiously as it was a bit chilly, which made the stay so cozy. Grass valley is a really really cute town too. The perfect private quiet getaway.

This was our third time staying here. It’s a lovely area, with beautiful trees over the hot tub. It is like a little house that has everything you need in it.

Kalery’s place is super unique with the cabin / yurt combo! The place feels secluded but is a short drive from Grass Valley & Nevada City where there are a ton of restaurants and fun bars. We loved relaxing on the back patio listening to the nearby creek and spending time in the hot tub. The place was super cozy /clean and we had all the info we needed for a seamless stay. Would def visit again!

Benjamin’s space was the perfect weekend getaway. Close to town with shopping, bars and restaurants. The space is only a 15 minute drive to the South Yuba River with tons of hiking and swimming. His space was perfect to come home to after a day of exploring to unwind, throw some food on the grill and enjoy an evening by the creek that runs behind the house. Would definitely book again next time we visit Nevada City.

The house was clean and beautiful; a cozy and inviting space. We stayed in one of the downstairs bedrooms, because of our dog, and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. We were in town to visit family and didn’t spend as much time at the house as we would have liked, and so did not utilize all the amenities the property had to offer. We did enjoy the creek one afternoon though and it was very peaceful. It’s about a 20 minute scenic drive to Grass Valley. Hemang and Lisa were great hosts and were available if we needed anything. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time at this adorable cabin. It was so cozy and perfect for a little family getting away. It made a huge difference for us that it was pet friendly and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly! We felt right at home! We look forward to going back again someday!

We really liked this place. Rural, very scenic. The cabin is very well constructed and well maintained. Nice step-in shower. Good kitchen. Bring food. There aren’t many dining choices nearby. The trading post at Dutch Flat is surprisingly well stocked, which is a good thing because the mini-mart/gas station at the Dutch Flat off ramp is the only other place around to get provisions.

Marilyn has created a home away from home for her guests. The house was much larger than we expected, clean, and had everything we needed. We ran into Marilyn many times on the property and she was so friendly and engaged (especially with my 4 year old). She showed us her new baby chicks, brought us a dozen fresh eggs, and provided carrots to feed the horses in the evening— what a special treat! The house was so quiet and private with comfortable beds, good showers, and so much wildlife. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to return.

This cabin was so lovely, peaceful and clean. Timothy is lovely as well, quick to respond, thoughtful and very accommodating for myself and my dog gratefully. We love this area so much already, so peaceful and beautiful. We would definitely love to stay here again. Very grateful to the host.

We had a great stay at Robert’s place! Great location close to all the businesses in Foresthill. The cabin was clean and cozy and nicely decorated, we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. Would recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Foresthill!

We had a family get away here. We were able to cook our meals in the nice kitchen and with the BBQ, enjoyed our meal all gathered around the large dining table, including our grandson in a high chair (provided.) Plenty of room to play video games as a group upstairs, and then play pool and air hockey downstairs while listening to YouTube music. It made for a fun time all together. Geeta kept in communication and then helped me arrange to get my forgotten bag picked up! (Thank you, Geeta!!!) I highly recommend this home for a comfortable, fun time together as a group.

The cabin was such an amazing get away. The location is perfect — 10 min from the Yuba and Nevada City. The cabin is cozy but with everything you could need. And the sauna, tub, and outdoor shower made it feel like we had our own private spa. Will definitely be back again!

This wonderful little cabin was a great place to spend a getaway weekend with my son. The peaceful, wooded surroundings provided the relaxing backdrop I was looking for and my son was delighted with the wood burning stove. He discovered that the pine cones that were suggested as fire starters did a great job and he had a great time replenishing their supply from the woods around the cabin.

I have stayed at 6 different airbnbs in different areas of northern California and this was our favorite! The home was beautiful, welcoming and squeaky clean and we loved the split floor layout, it gave my mom her privacy upstairs and me and my boyfriend privacy downstairs. The outside surroundings are peaceful forest areas and my doggies loved talking walks down the street! The area is a paddleboarders dream place and the Dutch Flat Pool is the biggest and best I've ever seen! Make sure to donate to keep that awesome pool going! The hosts communication was fantastic and they were very sweet about me accidentally breaking the tub diverter spout 😬 This place was 10/10 would rent again and suggest to anyone! The only word to the wise: bring a good mosquito spray or essential oil rub! It is a forest near a lake so they are aplenty but not enough to stop you from getting this great place!

The home was very cozy, and Dan was proactive about checking in on our arrival time to make sure the house was warmed up and ready for us. The proximity to ski resorts was one of the reasons we chose the cabin, and having a quick 30 minute ride to the slopes made our mornings super easy. Everything in the home was easy to find, and we weren't lacking for anything we needed. We'd definitely stay again!

My husband and I decided to stay there for our anniversary. Boy are we glad we did. We had such an awesome time enjoying the beauty and peacefullness of the property. The cabin was spotless and had a pretty view of the lake, garden, and mountain. The caretaker Lorie was great and always made sure we had everything we need. She even provided us with freshly picked thyme, basil and cherry tomatoes. There are plenty of BBQ grills and places to lounge, even on the pathway down to the lake. The pool was sparkly clean and eve had floaters to use. We met the owners who are welcomed us. We definitely highly recommend this place.

Miner’s Camp is a very cute, quiet little cluster of cabins. Ours, a small single bed with a kitchenette was perfect for our stay at the Western States Training Camp. The cabin’s location was a short walk to the Foresthill Elementary school, coffee shop and cafes. The cabin was clean, instructions were clear, and the property was super quiet despite the other nearby cabins. Our kitchenette was minimal (we had two of everything, plates, cups, mugs, so lots of dish washing) and equipped for simple cooking rather than full meals, but it got the job done.

Me and my family had a great time at Nancy's place. We loved the cabin, it was perfect for us. Lots of space to hang out and beautiful view. It was so quiet and peaceful there. The downstairs family room and bedroom were perfect for my 2 grandsons to hang out while we rested in the upstairs area with very comfortable sofas & a nice wood stove. The mattresses were also very comfortable . We loved playing pool and pingpong!. Nancy is an excellent host, she always replied fast to my questions and was very helpful. With a large kitchen, with everything we needed for cooking and serving our Thanksgiving dinner! The surrounding area and her yard were beautiful with all the trees. We enjoyed our walks to the Big lake and also to the smaller lake, both near the cabin, which I recommend everyone to go. We will definitely book it again if we go to visit that area in the future. It was very dog friendly too which I appreciated very much! Thank you!

We had a great stay at Bikram’s place. It's very clean and comfortable. Bikram and Kevin (who helps manage the place) were both very responsive. Kevin helped us get the outdoor fire pit going per our request. We had a great time around the fire pit after sunset. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a place close to the area. We will definitely come back again in the future.

What an amazing place. It felt like camping without the camping. We loved that it was deep in the forest. It was quiet and beautiful. Would stay again. Very quaint cabin with everything you need for a few days get away from the world.

My friend and I stayed at the cabin while attending a retreat nearby and it was perfect for us. The place was charming and it looked like it had been completely renovated inside. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was super nice and clean. The grounds were large and tranquil with beautiful birds nearby. Highly recommend this home.
