Kid-friendly holiday rentals in New York

This is truly lovely room, it's fairly spacious and the bed might be the most comfortable I've slept on while travelling. It faces a quiet and pleasant garden while the neighborhood is very enjoyable. The house is well kept and charming but can be creaky. The fridge and electric kettle is decent in lieu of a kitchen.

Duane’s place was a home away from home. Absolutely perfect for a couple get away! The pool was so peaceful… my only recommendation to other people is bring bug spray because the mosquitos are bad this time of year anywhere you go (but this has absolutely nothing to do with the host or stay, just a recommendation for guest)! Duane was extremely responsive and gave us amazing recommendations on where to go out for dinner and breakfast! I will definitely be booking this place again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay - the unit was absolutely perfect for what we needed and acted as the perfect base for all things New York being a one minute walk from the station! Krystal was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful - would highly recommend !

The process to check in was self check in and was clear and easy to do. The place was impeccably clean and very well decorated. The items in the Airbnb were well thought out and useful, (cooking utensils, salt & pepper, coffee, etc). The location was a nice neighborhood. There was a weather issue that occurred and Shekeva was incredibly professional and immediately responsive to the situation and my concerns. I would stay here again!

The stay here was wonderful. Kathryn was super helpful and responsive and the place itself was gorgeous. Everything was spotless and all instructions were extremely straightforward and clear (many notes left around the house as well as the lockbox to help you manage your stay). The place was also extremely close to the subway and had multiple places to eat/ go to nearby!

I needed a place to stay near LGA and this was perfect! Comfortable bed, clean private bathroom. Close to local cafes and dining spots and the host was very thorough and friendly! Overall great experience.

excellent host, incredibly helpful and friendly. it was so nice and easy to have conversations with them. their cat is friendly and so sweet. you have your own bedroom and bathroom. we didn’t use the kitchen much since we spent all our day in the city, but we would go down before bed to get cups of water and it was always clean and comfortable. location is just a 3 minute walk down the hill to the bus, of which takes you 10 minute drive to the ferry for manhattan. overall comfortable atmosphere.

Great homebase for exploring Manhattan! Walked to Rockefeller Center, the Edge, theaters on Broadway, great cafes. Coffee shop just down the street is great too. Easy to get to from Penn Station.

This Apt. was better then heaven. The view to Hudson River, the quietness, the charming interior and the bike path along the river are unique. We want to come again.

My husband & I spent a week in this gorgeous apartment. Great location with easy access to underground and walking to lots of restaurants & sightseeing. Very clean, well equipped and the views just stunning. Would highly recommend

I dealt with Hope's husband, Matt. I have to say he was one of if not the best communicators of many hosts I've dealt with. Also very helpful especially dealing with the finances of the stay. After I booked he offered some very legit means of saving money. Then when some things came up and I had to cut my stay short, Matt generously refunded my entire fee. Many hosts are very 'stingy' if things come up (which happens to everyone once in a while) and won't refund unless they can rebook, or will prorate. That's fine, but doesn't feel good. Matt was more concerned about my having a good experience with him than milking our transaction for every dollar. 5 star host! The place itself was clean and in a great location. Be aware it photographs larger than it feels in person. And might seem a tiny bit noisy if you aren't used to NYC apartment living. Those minor quibbles were more than made up for by working with excellent hosts who are compassionate and care about their guests experience.

Visited Brooklyn for a work trip and stayed at Jamal & Dacia's charming studio to get the most of Brooklyn as I possibly could in 24 hours! I appreciated how clean the space was, as well as amenities with water, snacks and ice cold AC for the hot humid weather! Would highly recommend this spot to anyone.

Absolutely amazing stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making check-in and communication super easy. The apartment was spotless and even better than it looked in the photos — the view was absolutely stunning! It was fully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The building itself is fantastic, modern and secure, and the neighborhood is beautiful and lively. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Manhattan. Highly recommended!

Very clear directions and responsive, caring hosts. Apartment was beautiful and spacious. My daughter enjoyed going to the coffee shop below every morning. Lots of unique stores and restaurants nearby. Overall a great choice!

The view of the NYC skyline was exactly as promised in the pictures. Host was super responsive. The place was within walking distance to bus and ferry to NYC.

Apartment was clean,spacious we stayed 6 nights with our 2 year old baby. You can get bus no 126 which will take you to time square so very convenient to travel to newyork. Aj and John were very helpful and great host. We had a great stay. Best wishes . Bimla

Great host, amazing location, and quite cute neighborhood incredibly close to the PATH! Hoboken was great and getting into Manhattan was incredibly convenient. The Airbnb was spotless and the couch was already made for my dad. Roomy, homey, and a great stay. Loved this place!! If I ever need an Airbnb in Hoboken I will look to rebook this place

The location was great. Just a short walk to the L and G trains for access to Manhattan, downtown Bklyn & LIC, and easy street parking and access to the BQE if you have a vehicle. There are grocery stores and delis very nearby, as well as numerous bars, cafes, and restaurants. The condo looked exactly as advertised - high ceilings, lots of light, nice furniture, skyline views. And it was surprisingly quiet. Baris was quick to respond to my queries. We would definitely stay here again.
