Me, my wife and son had a great relaxing weekend at Lizzy’s Cottage. The hot tub was secluded, the place looked just like the pictures and had a peaceful vibe! We all slept so well with the comfy beds too! Harrison was helpful and responsive through messages. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We enjoyed a lovely two night stay in Lia's place in Letwell. The bedrooms were all decent sized and everyone slept well, and everything was of a high quality throughout the house. The garden was particularly spacious and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife and hearing the toads at night.

We've got back from a lovely & restful 4 night break. Without hesitation we'd got there again. Very welcoming & friendly hosts.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cottage retreat. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. The setting is beautifully private—perfect for escaping the noise. We were greeted with a welcome package including snacks, a bottle of fizz, and clear instructions. It instantly made us feel at home. One highlight was the Jacuzzi—incredible! It was spotless and ready to go, with soft towels provided. We appreciated the natural shower products, which made the experience feel more luxurious. Communication with the hosts was easy. We were given a direct line and they responded quickly to any questions. The overall vibe of the place was calm and rejuvenating, a true hidden gem. It’s only about a 15-minute drive to nice local shops and restaurants, so you're not far from anything. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about our return. Highly recommend this cozy escape—we’ll definitely be back someday.

We stayed at The Nook, East Ferry for a couple of nights and had a fantastic time. Wayne was there to greet us on arrival and gave us a quick walk through of the hot tub and cinema room. There was no need to explain anything inside the accommodation itself as everything was so clearly signed that using anything was completely stress free and user friendly. It’s clear that nothing has been overlooked. The attention to detail and the extra personal touches really made our stay feel special. Whilst lots of places offer a hot tub, we have never stayed anywhere with a cinema room! That was a real highlight! With access to Netflix, Prime, Disney+ and more, we very much spoilt for choice. We would highly recommend The Nook to others. One of the best places we have stayed. Thank you Wayne and Dave, and a special mention to the beautiful cat who kept me company during quiet evenings in the garden. A perfect stay from start to finish and our only regret was not being able to stay longer!

fab weekend away in a lovely cottage with everything you need and more. Friendly hosts who were helpful with arranging our daytrip into Lincoln. Hot tub was great to relax in after a full day visiting Lincoln. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Great place to stay, bonus having three bathrooms and a downstairs toilet with five adults. Hot tub was very relaxing after exploring the area all day.

We’ve just arrived home after a wonderful stay at Petra’s property. The house was very clean, beds comfy and had loads of stuff for a baby/toddler which was very helpful! Petra sent us lots of places to go and see and we did most! Thank you for having us and we look forward to returning soon! Sophie, wills, Betsy, saffron and holly.

It was an absolutely lovely cottage. Henny checked that everything was fine after the first night and if I needed anything to make my stay there better.

Myself and three friend's stayed at Janes as we wanted to do a motorcycle tour of Derbyshire. The cottage is ideally located for that with off road parking . The cottage it self is lovely and homely. I especially liked the conservatory to sit and relax in. The cottage had everything we needed and jane even provided some basics to get us started on our arrival,milk,bread etc. Jane was friendly, easy to contact, about when you needed her but otherwise left us alone to enjoy our stay. 100% recommend Jane and her cottage.

Spacious and comfortable cottage made for a great break with excellent walking from the doorstep and in a good position for touring in the area.

Steve & Hanri have been the perfect hosts. A beautiful house set in a stunning location that's so quiet. The property had everything we needed and we did all our washing before coming home. There lots of little nooks to read a book. 'What Lies beneath' is a good read! On arrival we were left beautiful treats from the bakery, along with a bottle of wine and treats for our minature dachshund. The garden was a delight with a table and chairs for all the family. The yellow seated area near the rose is a real treat to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee on your own. All the recommendations are on a handmade map and we visted quite a few and we're very satisfied. The local pub 'The Sun Inn' offers the most outstanding food and service. The chip shop around the corner also satisfied our taste buds. Both our children enjoyed the recreation ground court where they played football and basket ball. The surrounding houses are just stunning. A 5* location and 5* hosts. We will be returning again.

The cottage was a real gem in beautiful surroundings. All you require for an outstanding stay with every mod con you could possibly need provided. Every aspect of the cottage was classy and modern. Our hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had a superb stay and would highly recommend it to anyone interested.

Wow ! What an incredibly lovely spacious house . Beautiful garden and lovely walks close by . We loved it . Will definitely be back with the in laws . Our dog loved it too .

We had a great stay at Brandybuck Cottage - cosy and quirky describes it perfectly! A lovely peaceful location, tucked down the little lane - it was very relaxing to wake to the sound of birds singing in the morning. Mountsorrel is a perfect location to explore the surrounding areas - we managed to fit in a wander around the beautiful Bradgate Park, a trip to Stonehurst Farm, meal out at The Waterside Inn (kids loved the bouncy castle!), couple of drinks at Wilfred Pinsent & Grandson (conveniently located at the bottom of the lane!) and then caught the final day of the 1940s weekend at Quorn steam railway before we went home! Lucie’s cottage has everything you could need for a relaxing break away - it was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds and the wonderful addition of outside space with the terrace and secret garden! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there 😊

Jill’s cottage is gorgeous and was perfect for our getaway. Jill is a helpful host, gave good instructions and recommendations and was friendly at check in and out. The cottage was really comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. The touches of fresh flowers, cake and wine were lovely. We enjoyed looking at the book collection!

A lovely little place full of character. So many extras like tea, coffee, milk, bread and breakfast cereals. Toiletries also well stocked. Lovely and clean. The bed was amazingly comfy. Anna and Ian are really welcoming with good knowledge of the area, even offered us the use of their canoe. It really is a little gem and will definitely be booking again.

We had a wonderful few days in Phillip’s cottage to do many walks with our dog, go geocaching, relax and read. It was the most restorative break for us all and from the moment we checked in everything was great. Phillip was really friendly and told us some of the history around the local properties. Super helpful & a great host. The property was spotless & had all we needed. The hot tub was fab after a days walking and the bed really comfortable. We loved just sitting and watching nature in the garden - so many birds and even one day we saw a wild rabbit. It felt quiet and very private. Highly recommend & hope we will be back!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Tom’s cottage! It’s an absolutely beautiful space and even better in real life than in the photos. It has such lovely decor & feels like a home from home. Tom was helpful and responsive from start to finish. Would 100% recommend a stay here!!

Really amazing stay. The cottage is immaculate. It's beautifully refurbished and fully equipped . Lynn is very friendly and helpful. She had left a whole range of delicious goodies for us when we arrived. We were really lucky with the weather and so were able to take advantage of the beautiful outside area with seating, sun loungers and a lovely BBQ area and were able to look out onto the wonderful garden with the church tower in the background. Everything about Pheasant cottage is peaceful and tranquil .It is a perfect relaxing retreat. I would definitely like to return one day

Beautiful setting by the river, we loved watching the birds from the terrace. Lovely accommodation, with lots to do close by. Teresa was there to meet us on arrival, she was very friendly and a helpful host. We didn't meet Laura, but she was quick to respond to our pre-arrival queries. All in all a great visit. We hope to return at some stage and would highly recommend this cottage.
