ONE OF A KIND: We have a guest cabin next to our house, that I built from logs from our property. It has a living area w/woodstove and couch w/recliners, TV, HVAC, bathroom, small kitchen, front porch, back porch, burn pit out back. Wood is supplied. The loft is furnished w/full size bed. The loft and bathroom have very low ceilings so if you are a tall person it will be very tight. Most everything in this cabin has been repurposed so there are lots of vintage items in this little cabin.

Our location is close to Hickory, Morganton, with easy drives to Lake James, Table Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, and Charlotte. The best part is the peaceful setting on our 70-acre farm where you’re free to explore and enjoy the countryside.

Under a 10 minute drive to quaint downtown Hickory with plenty of shopping and historical districts nearby. Stay in and cook a warm meal while relaxing indoors or step out outside and have a seat on the bench under the covered front porch. Listen to the birds singing while flying about in the nearby tree.
