We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

The kitchen is fully equipped. 1 minute walk to the Nister and to great hiking and biking trails. About 5 minutes to the nearest shopping, a bus line runs just as regularly. Great views, courtyard for shared use, barbecue by arrangement. Separate entrance. Parking space available, as well as space to lock up bicycles.

Hinnergassen vacation home

Enjoy a stylish experience in this centrally located accommodation. The apartment, with separate entrance, is located in our approx. 300-year-old half-timbered house. It is ideally suited for guests traveling alone or as a couple (also with a child). The lack of barriers is a special feature of our approx. 60 sqm ground floor apartment "Hinnergassen". The apartment is a non-smoking apartment and pet-free to allow all guests a pleasant stay.

The approx. 70 sqm ground floor apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a cozy dining area. The spacious living room with access to the south-facing terrace is equipped with a comfortable couch. The friendly bedroom also offers sufficient comfort with the bed including high-quality mattresses of 0.90 m*2.00 m. The new bathroom with its large walk-in shower also leaves nothing to be desired.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

Relax in this special, quiet accommodation, surrounded by meadows, forest and a quietly rushing stream. Move your office to these beautifully located rooms for a few days.
