It was a great stay, feeling right at home and a safe area. lots of friendly locals to help with any questions about the area. Wouter is a great host and would recommend highly!

José & seine Frau waren äußerst zuvorkommende Gastgeber, die uns freundlich und aufgeschlossen empfangen haben. Wir konnten sogar etwas früher als geplant in die Unterkunft und fanden eine blitzsaubere und schöne Wohnung vor. Mit Liebe zum Detail wurde das ehemalige Ladengeschäft zu einer kleinen Wohnperle umgebaut. Die Küche enthielt alles was man so an Kochuntensilien benötigt und im Bad lässt es sich herrlich duschen 😊 Perfekte Wohnung für 2 Personen. Wir kommen gerne wieder ❤️

Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

Der Aufenthalt bei Marjolein und Michiel war außerordentlich schön und gemütlich. Ruhig gelegen, wunderschönes Ambiente mit privater Teichterrasse und Garten. Ideal für Radtouren zum Weltkulturerbe zu den Mühlen in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, sowie nach Dordrecht gelegen. Auch der Wasserbus ist sehr zu empfehlen! Da mein Mann 60 wurde, hatte Michiel uns aufmerksamerweise eine schöne Flasche Prosecco vorab in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Zimmer ließ sich insgesamt zum Schlafen gut abdunkeln. Das Auto konnte sehr sicher auf dem Hof abgestellt. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt!! Wir haben uns bei Lenneke sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist niederländisch gemütlich, die Küche super ausgestattet und die Lage perfekt für Ausflüge. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Vorab erhielten wir alle erforderlichen Infos. Die Wohnung war sauber und wie auf den Fotos eingerichtet. Es ist alles, was man braucht, vorhanden. Frank war schnell erreichbar. Die Kommunikation war freundlich. Mit unserem 12 Monate alten Kind fanden wir das Bett besonders komfortabel und mussten kein Kinderbett mitbringen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Super fijn, ruim appartement. Ondanks de hitte was het binnen prima vertoeven en lekker koel. We hadden van tevoren gevraagd of er een kinderstoeltje beschikbaar was, die werd meteen voor ons geregeld. En het bedje van de kleine was schattig opgemaakt. Heerlijk verblijf gehad!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Ellen's place. It was Air bnb at its best - you get to stay in your own space but have a contact with a friendly local person. Ellen's place is a quirky compact space in what feels like a safe, friendly neighbourhood. We enjoyed sitting out on the step and all the local amenities. It's an easy walk into town (about 25 mins) and Haarlem is beautiful.

Saskia und Tijmen so liebe und herzliche Gastgeber. Die Wohnung liegt schön ruhig und der kleine Garten ist traumhaft. Es ist ein richtig schöner Rückzugsort zu zweit, wir haben es sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, sogar Fahrräder konnten wir kostenlos leihen. Mit den Fahrrädern ging es auch auf Tour entlang des Haarlemer Meer, nach Haarlem und bis zur Küste (alles machbar). Die Gegend ist sehr schön, die Stadt Haarlem sehr sehenswert und entlang des Haarlemer Meeres gibt es viel zu entdecken. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke für eine tolle Zeit.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen und 2 Kleinkind, uns hat es wirklich sehr gefallen wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles war top Was mich sehr gestört hat der Geruch von Reinigungsmittel war wirklich nicht zu ertragen wir müssten am Anfang erstmal komplett alle Türen auf machen, aber ansonsten war es sehr schön. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen aufjedenfall nochmal am September Yasmin Grüße

5 Stars – Stylish, Well-Located, and Comfortable We had a fantastic stay at Rob’s apartment. It’s beautifully designed, very stylish, and perfectly located—just a short walk to the beach and Hofstraat. It was exactly what we were looking for as a base to explore the region for the weekend. The free parking was a huge plus— rare and valuable in the Netherlands. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed, including spices and a dishwasher. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared. A couple of minor points to note: the apartment heats up during the day, and like many places in Europe, there’s no AC—fine for us, but heat-sensitive guests might want to consider this in summer. Also, the bathroom could use better lighting, though this didn’t impact our experience. All in all, a wonderful apartment. We’d gladly return. Thank you, Rob!

Caroline, l’hôte, est très gentille. Elle nous a aidé à nous orienter pour l’épicerie, les resto etc. L’appartement a beaucoup de cachet. Il y a 2 escaliers assez étroits à monter avec les bagages. Il faut en être conscient. Le partage de la cuisinette avec la chambre voisine ne nous a pas poser de problèmes. Beaucoup de respect entre les visiteurs lors de notre passage. La vue de la chambre est splendide. Bien que ce soit au grenier, le climatiseur rend la pièce très confortable. La chambre est orientée ouest, coucher de soleil! Merci pour la belle découverte!

Merith's place was great -- super cute and right on the canal. Many shops and restaurants close by. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, there was a cool market across the canal, where you could get produce, nuts, cheese, fish, and a variety of goods. Her place is about 10-15 minute walk to the Leiden Centraal Station, which was very convenient. The public transport system in The Netherlands is excellent. We went to Amsterdam, Gouda, The Hague, Haarlem. And we were here during tulip season, so we went to Keukenhof Gardens twice. During this season, they run a bus from Leiden Centraal Station right to Keukenhof, easy. Merith's place was clean and well appointed, just as described. I recommend it!

We loved our stay in this character-filled historic house. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and felt private, even though it’s a shared building. The location is excellent and we savored the view of the canal from the big windows. The bed and linens are comfy, crisp and clean, and there were plenty of towels. We even enjoyed hearing a bit of Evert and his students’ violin-playing. (Seriously, I don’t really like violins but the playing was expert and lovely.) Memorable stay!!

Een mooi en bijzonder sfeervol ingericht appartement voorzien van alle comfort! Rustig gelegen en dicht bij de zee. Fijn contact met de gastvrouw bovendien!

Ons verblijf was precies zoals op de foto’s en zoals beschreven in de advertentie. De locatie is ideaal, op wandelafstand van het centrum. Alles was kraaknet en netjes verzorgd. Frank en zijn vrouw zijn bijzonder vriendelijke en gastvrije hosts. We voelden ons meteen welkom in hun verblijf – een echte aanrader!

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Our stay at Luba’s apartment was really lovely. Communication was very easy & timely. The apartment is beautiful with some great original features; it was also very comfortable too. Opening the balcony doors overlooking the quiet street & sitting to have a drink was great. The shower works well & the bath is low enough to step comfortably into. The bed is also very comfortable. The whole apartment is tastefully done with all the amenities you need. The stairs, like the stairs in a lot of Dutch houses, are a little steep but you soon get used to them & didnt cause us a problem. The washing machine was a great benefit & has a short wash to ensure you can be on the move. The area about 10 minutes outside The Hague was good for us - a lovely deli & other shops are close as are a number of good restaurants. Lieden & Delft are very easy to get to & well worth it. A great stay with lovely hosts in a nice location - I highly recommend.

Το διαμέρισμα είναι σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία. Έχει υπέροχη θέα σε κανάλι κι αυτό είναι το πιο δυνατό του σημείο! Επίσης είναι πολύ κοντά στο τραμ κι η Αurore απαντά πάντοτε πρόθυμα στις απορίες σας. Αφήνω τελευταία την guest star του σπιτιού, τη Zola. Χωρίς εκείνη το σπίτι θα ήταν άλλο ένα συνηθισμένο airbnb.. Συνιστάται ανεπιφύλακτα!!

Just amazed with the place. My wife always wanted to get back to the comfortable home early during our visit. The host gave a clear instruction, very quick response as well as very kind welcome treatment for our delayed honeymoon. We absolutely loved the fully equipped kitchen, jacuzzi bathtub and rooftop terrace where we had breakfast and dinner every night. 100% recommended.

We stayed in Timo's apartment for a week. This week was one of the best for us, and the apartment only made it more beautiful. Incredibly spacious, clean, incredibly cozy apartment. So many beautiful elements of art throughout the apartment, selected with taste and love, without anything superfluous. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were happy to spend time in it. Sometimes we thought about why our city program was so dense and busy, because we really wanted to spend more time in a cozy home. Ideal objective value for money. Our communication with Timo was incredibly friendly, he is a very responsive, kind, attentive and caring host, it was a pleasure to communicate with him. All our issues were resolved as quickly, easily and with care as possible. Would we come back again? Of course. Thank you very much for everything🩷

Wir waren für ein Wochenende in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit den Fahrrädern konnte man die nahe gelegene Metrostation gut erreichen und wir haben eine gute Zeit in Amsterdam gehabt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer gut erreichbar. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für Amsterdam Aufenthalte sehr empfehlen.

The place is amazing. Quaint , bright and very well thought out. The surrounding gardens are impeccable, the decor is warm and inviting and you feel immediately at home. Are hosts were lovely. Ever present, warm and inviting while respecting privacy and always ready with a smile. Set just a 5 mins walk from the train station you truly can’t beat the location as access to the beach, Amsterdam or all points is literally at your disposal. Uber was also easily accessible. I only hope on our next visit, it’s not so booked we can’t get in. It’s a must stay.
