Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nordfjord

we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with a view of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with a view of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks nearby, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The stupet naveset tronvik walk - on the flank there - is also well marked. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice walking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

A dream of a hut - original, stylish and very cozy, in exactly the right size - plus comfortably equipped with a nice bathroom and a perfectly equipped kitchen down to the last detail! A somewhat remote house of 150 years old. And that has its charms!! Inger is a nice hostess. Although you may find the decor somewhat limited or dated, it is perfectly adequate. We've had a good time. Let yourself be surprised by the authenticity and the quiet place.

We had a fantastic stay at Lars' house! The views from the modern jacuzzi were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a large, well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a pleasure. We especially appreciated the use of the nearby boat for a bit of adventure on the water, and the charming hiking cabin up on the mountain was a cosy retreat to warm up in if needed. Don’t miss the nearby Likholefossen waterfall—it's definitely worth a visit! Lars was a friendly and generous host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

The house is really a place to feel at home - even it is only for a few days. The pictures in AirBnB show nothing more than the real beauty of this place. Sometimes the view is even better than on the pics. ;) The farm with the sheep is perfect for kids and please ask Ingvild for Lego - the kids love the box full of fun, especially on rainy days. :) The house itself has everything you need to have a good time at Ingvild and Lasses place. I totally recommend to enjoy a few days on this beautiful, cozy and relaxing place in Sæbø. :)

Egil’s home was a beautiful and comfortable haven in the middle of the most stunning scenery my family and I have ever seen. Waking up to that breathtaking view each day was really special. In spite of the constantly changing weather on the fjord in May, we were still able to enjoy sitting outside and enjoying the hot tub at the end of a day hiking. Egil provided us with so much good information and was always available to answer questions. He went out of his way to make a reservation for us at Christian Gaard for dinner, which was another unforgettable experience. We highly recommend doing this. Thanks so much Egil for everything. , We would love to return someday!

Had a wonderful stay here. Living room was comfortable. Great view and easy walk to the centrum. Able to do a load of laundry which was great. Comfortable beds. Would recommend!

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

We spent three nights at Roar's place and wish we could have stayed longer. It was so peaceful with good walking from the doorstep, and lovely waking up to the sound of birdsong. Roar went out of his way to make us feel welcome and offered great walking recommendations. Thank you!

My stay was 6 weeks and I look back on it positively. It is a place where you can really relax. The place is very comfortable and had everything I needed. The nature and hiking opportunities nearby are fantastic. Solgunn is a very good hostess. Very considerate and very helpful. She gave very good tips and invited me to walks and activities. Yael's Villa was exactly what my wife and I needed for a couple nights while exploring Ålesund and the surrounding area. It had everything you need to feel at home and between the deck, the jacuzzi, sauna, and water access, you could stay put and be very happy about it! Yael should teach a masterclass for other Airbnb hosts on how to make their guests feel welcome and valued. He was incredibly helpful during our stay and was quick to respond any time I sent a message. His homemade sauna is impressive and a real treat after a long hike or a dip in the frigid weather. He charges a few bucks to use it to help with electric which is completely understandable. Can't say enough nice things about Yael and the time my wife and I spent at his place. Close to a bus stop that will get you into city center, but if you have a car and want to drive in, that's easy too. Don't pass this place up!

Such an amazing location in Olden and we loved being right on the water. Couldn’t think of a better place to stay. We loved spending time outside in the jacuzzi and using the fire pit. The town is nearby and the home included everything we needed.

Fabulous views and really responsive hosts. The location is convenient to many places in the region, but requires a solid drive to any of them. We used this as a base for Nordfjordeid, Loen, Stryn, Geiranger, and Bjorkedalen. You could easily get to Jostalbreen north entrance as well. All of these places are 30-60 mintues away, but we found it convenient. The views are stunning and it feels very private despite what it looks like on streetview/google Maps.
