Our second year staying here for our 'hiking reunion', perfectly placed to walk out the door and explore the surrounding peaks, this year we hit the Stanage Edge hike. Many thanks!

One of the best stays I’ve had in the UK! The place was absolutely perfect — spotless, beautifully styled, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Hulya and Ryan were amazing hosts — kind, responsive, and thoughtful in every detail. We felt completely at home and truly enjoyed every moment. Our stay at Sunshine Cottage was absolutely wonderful! The cottage itself is beautiful, and it's clear a lot of thought has gone into making it pretty, comfortable, and full of everything you need for a fantastic stay. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches. Wirksworth and surrounding areas are incredibly charming, offering plenty to explore and enjoy. Would highly recommend a stay in India’s beautiful home. Spacious, comfortable and homely. The beds were so comfortable - my youngest son loved the Harry Potter-style bed under the stairs!- and it was really well located for some amazing walks, which was what we came for. India left some recommendations, one of which was a visit to Froggats Edge, and this was spectacular so I would absolutely recommend a visit there. India was also extremely communicative before our trip with information, and during our stay offered to bring us a bbq from her home as the previous guests had broken the one at the air bnb meaning we couldn’t use it. India offered this without us even asking.

We were on a work trip to Chatsworth, but The Ballroom made us want to return for a holiday. The space is large, light, and full of historic character. I wish we'd had time to make use of all the wonderful books and games available, but we did enjoy the views and the land, much of which the owners are rewilding and turning organic which is right up our street. We especially appreciated all the eco products used in the house too. There are lots of thoughtful little touches and these made us feel comfortable and welcome. The car charging facility is a huge bonus and showers with endless hot water and great pressure is a luxury! Lovely people and a lovely space for unwinding.

Having previously stayed at Faye’s beautiful cottage, nestled in lovely Bakewell, I found out what a wonderful attentive host (and person) she is, and how perfect the place was for my needs. I knew I would definitely return! This time I was lucky enough to have the whole cottage to myself as she was away, and I can’t recommend her home highly enough. Comfortable and beautifully appointed, spacious main bedroom, plus a lovely second bedroom with a sofabed that could be used to accommodate two more guests, or use it as I did, as a sofa and extra space to relax. The lounge is so warm and welcoming, and there is a lovely bathroom with a full size bath and shower, and everything you could need in the well-equipped kitchen. There is a lovely spot to sit out the front with a cuppa (it is SO peaceful there you can only hear the birds), and it’s only a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. Parking is on the main road just a few steps away, and Bakewell is fantastically located for Chatsworth.

The fact that this was our second time here speaks volumes. Superb place, ideal for a 'get away from it all' break. Host lives quite close and responds immediatley to any queries. No cellphone coverage but superfast wi-fi. Can't wait till next year.

Booked Jo's place as I attended a wedding nearby and it was perfect. Had all the amenities, was cosy and clean. I recommend Jo's place!

Daniel was very helpful, very quick to respond to questions, went out of his way to assist in a booking issue with Airb&b, accommodation was fantastic, new apartments with very high specification including appliances, would totally recommend

Had the most wonderful stay in this little oasis. The space was beautiful with lots of colour and character, along with a file of thoughtfully written guide of everything you'll need to know. Lisa was also very accommodating and super responsive throughout, especially over check in/out days. We stayed only for the weekend but could imagine this place being a great option for longer term stay as well. The neighbourhood in general is gorgeous and quiet, very close to Brocco Park which is a beautiful walk and relatively well connected to public transport. We chose to walk mostly and took around 30minutes on average to get to most of where we want to go. Highly recommend!

Meghan's property was lovely, and exactly what we needed. Was nice to be able to sit out in the garden and enjoy the weather when not out and about. Was located in a very quiet location and would definitely stay again if we came back!

Excellent stay, well equipped in the outdoor kitchen. Clean and tidy and very friendly hosts and very responsive. Location is peaceful, pretty and only a few minutes from Alton Towers. Great stay thank you

Stunning cabin, perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. We booked this trip to celebrate my partners’ birthday and travelled on bikes via train. Little Croft was easy to find via directions and is easily accessible from Hope train station. On arriving, we found the accommodation was exactly as pictured, with a gorgeous, Pinterest worthy interior - which we loved how thoughtfully designed it was, and immaculately clean too. And oh my the view! it was everything we hoped for. 🥰We also appreciated the kitchen being stocked with tea, coffee and milk, and shower gel being provided too was a lovely touch. Jon and Kate were great hosts, really friendly and responsive and offered lots of local recommendations and cycling routes for us. We were also offered shelter for our bikes which we were really grateful for. Overall, we were really impressed with this stay and felt really comfortable staying here. Would absolutely recom
