Holiday rentals with breakfast in North Sea Canal

Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

We had a wonderful few days here. The cabin is beautifully designed, clean and equipped with everything you need - even the bonus of breakfast items which was an exceptional addition. It’s situated in a beautiful garden and is very peaceful and still very easy to get to The Hague or the beach on the bikes that you can use. Such brilliant hosts who were very helpful at all times for us. Thank you for a perfect holiday!

We were with 2 children and our dog in Lisette's great, clean and lovingly furnished accommodation. We felt right at home and had a lot to experience. For the children, it was an experience to sleep in the wooden bed and see the animals. Feeding the ducks was particularly enjoyable for them. Lisette's breakfast is very plentiful and beautifully arranged - as in Hotel :) All in all, it's a great place to stay - 15 minutes from a very nice beach! The restaurants in the vicinity are also very good and Naaldwijk is a pretty little town. We'd love to come back! Thank you!

We had a wonderful holiday at Willems' place, I did not expect to be in his house but everything is done to be comfortable. A small booklet is put down so we know what to do in the area. It helps a lot and is super responsive when asked how to access a place. Thanks again

Unusual apartment with attention to detail. Every square meter of the small basement apartment is optimally used, everything necessary is available. Ideal starting point for Amsterdam visitors who want a quieter time. A good 20 minutes' drive by bus 316 to the center of Amsterdam, which runs continuously. From the apartment to the harbor, it is only 200 meters and you can also do a lot in the Volendam region as a change from the hustle and bustle of the city. During our four-day stay, we decided to take a boat trip to the island of Marken. Very worth seeing. Nice little breakfast with coffee, tea, baked goods, jams and eggs available for the entire duration of the stay. Due to Johan's perfect description and good and fast communication with all the necessary information, everything could be arranged without personal contact. We were 2 adults with 2 18-year-old girls. Everyone was thrilled. Thank you for everything.

We had a wonderful stay at José's. She was flexible and very welcoming. The accommodation is very nice, very bright. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and hearty. And finally, the setting is exceptional: Vianen is a great place. I highly recommend you to visit Vianen and stay at José's!

It was a great stay at Judith's farmhouse. The equipment was absolutely sufficient and the breakfast was adapted to our wishes. We hope there will be another opportunity to book with Judith and her family again. Despite the integrated door, which leads through the main house, you have your privacy, as you reach the guest lounges via a staircase that separates the area. For travel destinations such as Amsterdam is a great location (by car). There is also a bus that departs nearby for not too long journeys.

Judy is a fabulous bed and breakfast host! She was attentive, punctual, and thoughtful. She went above and beyond any bnb experience I have ever had. I highly recommend this place for the hostess with the hostess as well as the location.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive, and made sure instructions were clear. The location was convenient and quiet, with easy access to shops and restaurants. It felt like a home away from home. I recommend this spot and would definitely stay here again. Overall, very good experience all around!

A wonderfully quiet and beautiful stay with a nice outdoor seating area. Close to the beautiful center of Sneek. Next time we go to Sneek, we will definitely come back.

The flat was very cute and peaceful. The owners we're very kind, helpful and friendly. The location was quiet and nice to take long walks. Would definetely recommend staying there and we would Love to come again.

We loved our time in this artsy, welcoming and charming little spot! Lex and Sylvie were very responsive and helpful, checking in and also leaving some great nibbles in the kitchen (fruit, juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, butter and much more!) They also gave us a heads up about the Utrecht Pride event, which is not to be missed if you can be there for it. The boat parade goes right down the lovely canal right outside the door. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with great restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was the perfect space for our two adults and one teen and we took advantage of sitting out front along the canal every single day. It’s an older building and you can hear the floorboards upstairs but it was never an issue for sleeping because Lex and Sylvie didn’t seem to be night owls. I would love to come back someday!

Malo and Maarten were excellent hosts who met us on arrival and showed us around their very well-appointed and well-stocked home. Their place has everything you could possibly need or even think about needing such that we didn't even need to contact them for anything during our stay. The personal touches made it even better. We felt right at home in their beautifully designed home and were able to access the entire city easily from this location. We definitely recommend Blueprint B&B 100%!

It was a really great vacation! The apartment is centrally located right on the village square above the bakery overlooking the best ice cream parlor in the Netherlands, beautiful dunes and the path to the beach. In the morning, an excellent breakfast is delivered to the hallway and then the (beach) day can also start. We were able to park our beach gear right downstairs in the entrance and could also use the washing machine, that was great. In the apartment we found it very comfortably furnished, there was nothing missing and it was also clean. The only thing we imagined differently was the volume of fans from the bakery in the children's room and on the patio, especially with the window open in summer. But if you have a deep sleep, it won't disturb you. We will be happy to come back! Thank you!

Elly and Simon's place was perfect for our 4 night stay. So nice to have a private little outside sitting area looking over the fields. Having the bikes was marvelous, we cycled to the beach through the forest (get Elly to give you directions) and stopped in the local towns for cafes, a fabulous lady day of the Keukenhof season, just a few minutes away by bike. We cycled along the peaceful, safe canal path to the Hillegom station to go to Haarlem for the day (and the train goes on to Amsterdam from there too). The bed was comfy, the shower was warm and clean and the wifi and TV worked fine. We used the aircon as is did get warm up in the loft bedspace but that was fine too, very quiet. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. All in all it was a very well equipped and well located space with lovely hosts.

I had an amazing stay at Riza’s place. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with excellent transport connections to every part of the city. Riza is a truly kind and attentive host — always friendly, helpful, and even offered breakfast regularly. His local recommendations were super useful and made my trip even better. This was one of the most impressive Airbnb‘s I ever stayed & we felt incredibly lucky having booked Dirkjan‘s home!!! ♥️ Everything was even nicer than described & the garden was beautiful & huge & a great contrast to Amsterdam. A well looked after oasis! The view from the upper room was beyond words.. Dirkjan went above & beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible- communication was great, check-in simple & professional & the breakfast was incredible. We really love(d) the place & felt immediately at home. The cats & the duck offspring in the garden were a real delight & Dirkjan‘s love for the place - his father‘s legacy- could be felt throughout our stay.. Furthermore we could witness the host‘s talent - a great musician indeed & we thoroughly enjoyed an unexpected breakfast concert which made our stay an unforgettable lifetime experience! ♥️ THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! ♥️

We were warmly welcomed. Great parking space, didn't need to dismantle bicycle holders. We were able to park bicycles in front of the cottage. There is a lot of space. There is a terrace directly at the entrance, Nice layout of the rooms, 2 bedrooms with double bed and one with 2 single beds. Very bright apartmen. Everything is also good to ventilate. Fully equipped kitchen .... Everything is there. We'd love to recommend. Cheerful greetings

The accommodation is great, you can get everywhere. It is clean and Maret is a very friendly hostess. We enjoyed the days very much.
