Holiday rentals with an EV charger in North Sea Canal

Linda is a perfect host and communicated with us before, during and after our stay, answering all our questions. Finding the property and checking in was easy. The location is a very quiet residential area, with reliable transport links (tram and bus) to all the major sights of interest, shopping centre and railway stations. The property itself is a beautiful art deco apartment which retains a lot of its original features, without sacrificing 21st century comfort and amenities. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and has everything you need to prepare and cook a full meal and there is a dishwasher (hurray!). Shower is great with an unfailing supply of hot water and having a washing machine and tumble drier was a real bonus as we arrived with a lot of laundry. The neighbours were friendly. If we come back to Den Haag, we hope to stay here again as it's a great base from which to explore both city and seaside.

Es un apartamento precioso, cómodo y súper bien conectado con el transporte público. La habitación principal tipo loft es ideal y la segunda es elegante y maravillosamente cómoda. Los baños y la cocina estaban impecables y cada detalle es bonito y agradable. Hay total autonomía y Gonny es súper amable y respetuosa. Hemos disfrutado de 5 días maravillosos en familia!

Our stay at Vincent's apartment was lovely. It really was super clean, absolutely no clutter, and the bed was very comfortable. The street was quiet and away from the touristy areas. However, it was just a short walk to the busier areas and the museums, a real plus. The steps up to the apartment were indeed very steep. We mentioned this to our Dutch friends and they said "welcome to Amsterdam"! They are part of every house so we accepted this and got used to them. Vincent's Check In instructions were clear and we had no problems. We had a very memorable stay. Thank you, Vincent.

vanaf het begin een goede communicatie met Reinie. Gastenverblijf nog mooier dan de foto's laten zien. Heel hartelijk ontvangen en bij aankomst stond er een verrassende lekkernij klaar. Ik heb een paar fijne dagen gehad en gelijk geboekt voor volgend jaar.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht in der Unterkunft, da wir für einen Konzertbesuch angereist sind. Wir hätten uns aber gewünscht noch einige Tage dranzuhängen, da die Lage und die Unterkunft unglaublich schön waren. Wir wurden herzlichst von Dick und Bianca empfangen und konnten unser E-Auto an der Wohnung laden. Die Nutzung der Fährräder, des Gartens und des Grills waren dann noch ein Add-On dass den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht haben. Die Wohnung war extrem sauber, sodass man sich direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt hat. Wir empfehlen jedem diese Wohnung der eine ruhige Lage in der Natur sucht, und trotzdem die Nähe zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nach Amsterdam nicht missen will. Arthur's place is an airy, light, comfortable apartment on the top floor of a family home in the town of Hilversum. There are lots of places to eat and drink there; we found a wonderful Ethiopian restaurant. Being a 20 minute walk from the station it is the perfect base for visiting Amsterdam (or Utrecht) if you don't want to stay in the busy city centres.

Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt in diesem sehr schönen Apartment. Alles ist komplett eingerichtet und die Sauna rundet das Ganze ab. Die Lage ist sehr schön und als Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren nach Alkmar, Bergen aan Zee, Schoorl und auch in östlicher Richtung zum Ijsselmeer hervorragend geeignet. Wir hatten wunderschöne Radtouren bei herrlichem Wetter. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr einfach und angenehm. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden sicherlich noch einmal wieder kommen. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l’appartement très bien équipé et joliment décoré. L’appartement est très confortable. Il est idéalement situé pour visiter Delft, Den Haag, Utrecht. Merci à nos hôtes pour ce bon séjour.

Wir hatten eine nette Begrüßung und Erklärung der Highlight vor Ort und in der Nähe der Unterkunft. Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Wohnung. Sind sonst immer im Hotel , aber hier hat man (und Frau) sich wie zuhause gefühlt. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, mit vielen Details. Und von Kaffee Pads bis zu Gewürzen war alles vorhanden. Wir werden sicher noch mal wiederkommen.

Wir waren als Mädelsgruppe im Haus von Leon. Es war wirklich super schön, alles was man braucht und noch viel mehr! Und hat es sehr gefallen. Das Haus war sauber und es geht wirklich schnell mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder dem Auto nach Amsterdam zu fahren. Wir kommen wieder!

Absolutely wonderful house in an idyllic setting just short bus ride from Amsterdam. The photos don't do the house justice it is gorgeous . The kitchen is amazing and all the rooms beautifully decorated. The house has a very steep spiral staircase. Karel was a very kind and attentive host. We'd love to come back, stay longer and explore further afield.

Tulipa was such a gorgeous place to stay. It is beautifully finished and very comfortable. We stayed on a family holiday with three generations and ten total people - and everyone was perfectly accommodated for. The en-suites are high end, the beds are very comfortable and the open space upstairs is lovely. There’s lots of free on-street parking, and it’s a few minutes walk to a bus stop which takes you to a train station. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Logement assez petit. 14 voyageurs sont possibles mais c'est vraiment aller chercher jusqu'à la dernière place disponible. Serviette assez vieille ainsi papier toilettes en très petite quantité. Dommage de n'avoir qu'une seule double pour 14 personnes. Il faudrait l'indiquer dans l'annonce et réduire le nombre de personne possibles dans le logement. 2 places dans un abri de jardin qui n'était pas indiqué

Wir (5 Freunde+1 Hundi) haben sehr schöne Tage gehabt in der Unterkunft. Tolle ruhige ländliche Lage- mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem ist der Weg nach Amsterdam schnell und unkompliziert(kleiner Tipp: es gibt eine Fähre). Victor und seine Frau sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Also wer etwas Ruhe braucht aber trotzdem schnell in der Stadt oder andere Unternehmungen machen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Sehr empfehlenswert sind auch Edam und Volendam. Außerdem lohnt sich auch ein Tagesausflug an die Nordsee ;-) Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Waren im Juni 2025 für eine Woche Gäste im Haus von Marja und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere 15 jährige Tochter hatte im Obergeschoss ihr eigenes Reich mit Badezimmer und hat dies sehr genossen 😉. Das Haus bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für diverse Unternehmungen - sehr gute Bahnverbindung nach Amsterdam, wunderbare Radtouren in der Gegend oder auch mal nur ein Besuch am Strand. Gerne wieder!

Très bonne localisation et proche des services. On se sentait en sécurité, comme à la maison. Berrie répond très rapidement aux messages et questions. Tout a bien fonctionné.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We had an amazing stay! The flat is much more beautiful than on the photos; so aesthetic! The host was very sweet, flexible and answered all our questions. Perfect experience :)

Maike was very accessible, the flat is very nice and accessible from the center and very closed to the train station. we highly recommand this stay

Wir wurden von Remy persönlich begrüßt und er hat uns das Apartment gezeigt und die Bedienung des Whirlpools erklärt. Außerdem hat er uns Empfehlungen für die Gegend gegeben. Per Nachricht konnten wir ihn immer erreichen und er war sehr hilfsbereit. Das Apartment und der Whirlpool sind sehr privat, sodass man sich wohl fühlt. Zudem war die Unterkunft super sauber und durch frische Blumen wurden angenehme Akzente gesetzt.

It was an overall very pleasant stay which i enjoyed a lot. Wilma and her family are warm-hearted and absolutely welcoming. The apartment is very nice and exactly as described.

We had a wonderful time at Michel and Rosa's house. They are very welcoming, the scenery is beautiful and the apartment was super clean. We would definitely recommend staying there. Lary & Bruno

We stayed here for just a few days before hopping over to Brussels and it was perfect for three of us. The apartment is beautiful - pictures don’t do it justice - and everything is as listed on the listing. The neighborhood is also super walkable with tons of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby, not to mention you are less than 10 mins from the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, and many other recommended museums. There are also many train and bus lines nearby to take you into the city center. My only note for folks is that the stairs to get to the apartment are incredibly steep and (regardless of how large your suitcase is, it’s likely to be tight) so I would consider that if you are a person with any mobility issues. It was worth it though for the beautiful space and I would absolutely stay here again!

Simon was always available for any questions we had…he is a very nice guy. Apartment is cute..perfect for the two of us and very close to the city center where restaurants and shops are located. The train station is only a 10 minute walk. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to rent in Haarlem.
