This was my first stay at Roker apartments and it mot disappoint! It was spotless, we were well informed every step of the way, Ivan is a fantastic host and nothing is too trouble, I really hope this apartment is available on my next trip to roker!

I had a wonderful experience in this penthouse with a sea view. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, and the view is absolutely stunning. The interior is modern, clean, and very comfortable. Ideal for relaxation, peace, and special moments. I would definitely come back!

Rod was a fantastic host, clear instructions and very friendly. The apartment was very clean and really spacious. The beds are super comfy and we all slept well. It was a perfect location easy to get into town but quiet when we got back. Our stay was perfect from the first communication to the personalised white board message. Thank you

We had the best time staying in Shani’s place. Location couldn’t have been more perfect; really central, and since we were attending a concert whilst there, the venue was just around the corner. The apartment was spotless, and Shani was so helpful and provided us with some brilliant local recommendations. Would highly recommend staying here, and we would definitely return.

Ness was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The flat was just as expected and really nice and clean. The welcome package was a nice surprise that puts a smile on your face when you arrive. Lots of great takeaways locally and not far to walk into town or down to the beach. A really nice flat, I would defiantly stay again.

Great location and great host! It’s a lovely place to stay for a long weekend which was walking distance to the city. The flat had a modern style and well thought out layout for a small area. All appliances were so easy to use and really had everything you needed. The host was very responsive and even phoned to let me know about early check in if I wanted it.

This place is a gem and we can’t wait to go back! Where to start…. Firstly, Tee was a fantastic host who not only had brilliant communication but has clearly put his heart into the place. The apartment was finished to a high spec with beautiful facilities. Everything was modern and fresh. Brilliant kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedrooms! The place was immaculately clean! Comfortable beds with fresh, high quality linens. It also had extra touches, such as toiletries which made it more like a luxury hotel. The location is a cheap taxi ride into the centre or the bus is right outside the front door! You could also walk too. Parking is so easy and safe. The show stopper is definitely the hot tub!! It was perfectly hot and had a lovely private area to go with it. Not to mention a brilliant mural which provided the perfect back drop for our photos! We felt so lucky to get this place and started to plan our return on the way home. Definitely book, you won’t regret it! Thank you Tee!

Lovely apartment, quiet, so cozy and had everything you need for a short stay. As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable. So close to the Metro with links to Newcastle City Centre and on to the airport. So handy, no need for a car. Welcome pack was a lovely touch😊

We enjoyed our stay at Mandy’s place. It was a short walk to restaurants/pubs/the coast. There was also a little convenience store less than five minutes from the flat (Spar). If we return to South Shields, we will definitely try to book here again.

Spotless, uncluttered and perfect for our overnight stop.

Fintan's place is located in the attractive village of Ovingham and is very convenient for accessing places along the Tyne Valley as well as Hadrian's Wall. The bed and shower were both great and all essential needs are provided for.

Well equipped and very comfortable flat in a quiet area close to Jesmond Dene. The kitchen was well equipped and the provision of tea , coffee etc was really generous. We had a very comfortable stay.

From start to finish this place is home from home well worth the money spotless central for everything Julie and her husband are lovely people we will definitely be back next year

Where to start!! 10 stars for everything. The apartment is beautiful and has been decorated to a really high standard. All instructions were clear and it couldn't have been easier to find and to check in. Juliette was an attentive host and we felt that she was able to help, if needed. Juliette had written a book of local things to see and do along with some interesting folklore, which I loved. Rothbury is a beautiful place, with amazing and unusual shops, friendly people, and no shortage of places to eat. Bamburgh Castle was a short drive away and the apartment is wonderfully placed as a base for visiting other towns. We were lucky with the weather, so also made use of the private, enclosed garden to have a drink in. It's a dog friendly place, as is most of Rothbury. We arrived to some delicious biscuits and treats for our German Shepherd as well. I highly recommend staying here, and would return in a heartbeat! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

We had a great 3 night stay, to celebrate a late Christmas with my parents who live in Blyth. The apartment is gorgous, so well decorated and furnished. There was a lovely Christmas tree to greet us too. We arrived around 9.30 pm, found the key in the front lockbox and unloaded up the front stairs. Overall its a great place to stay, the only thing that would stop us staying again is our elderly dog (he's 15) is a bit too doddery for the stairs. The baby gate was a great feature, and meant we had no worries about him going down on his own. The internal stairs lead to the front door just over the road from an amazing park which was perfect for the dogs. Kids would love it too, I grew up in Blyth, such happy memories of Ridley Park!

We had a great stay at Amy’s location. Absolutely loved the style of the flat, and everything was clean and in great condition. The location was great for us, we walked into the centre a few times and used Uber to get home, which cost around £5. Amy offered great recommendations. We loved the fireplace and made us feel right at home. We also made use of the games that were left. It was such a kind touch of the hosts to leave us some treats too, which were very much appreciated. Overall, a fantastic stay, and would love to come back. Thank you so much, and Happy New Year 😊

John was very responsive and instructions were clear. The apartment is on the third floor(staircase only) of a beautiful sea frontage character building which overlooks the promenade and lighthouse. There is a lovely park next door which was a great early morning walk as well. Restaurants , bars all nearby but area very quiet during our stay. The apartment was well fitted out, great kitchen, and comfortable beds. Definitely recommend this stay

I returned "home" to Durham as part of my sabbatical from my work in Australia. I was looking for a place close to the city, but also quiet and peaceful too. Chris' place was exactly what I was looking for. If you are lucky enough to experience the beautiful spring weather, as I did, you can enjoy sitting on the terrace watching, the ducks, rowing boats and life in general sail by. It is simply picture perfect! The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you could ever want! The beds are clean and comfortable and I slept better than I have in any other space that is not home! I would highly recommend and hope to back soon. If you are considering Chris' place - look no further. Just do it. You will not regret it!

Nigel's apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival and it was really nice to be greeted in person by the host - even though we kept him waiting - sorry Nigel. Excellent location with easy access to local bus services. That was great for us having travelled to the area by train, but we were still able to visit all the places we wanted to go by using the X20 only yards away from the accomodation and the 21 or X21 bus stop only 5 mins walk away. We couldn't have asked for better accommodation or host. All in all a memorable experience which we would recommend to everyone. Thank you we had a lovely week.

Stayed a couple of night and wished we could have stayed longer. Bob was really helpful and the place was beautiful and clean. We will be coming back
